This is undoubtedly a great contender for one of the greatest matches of all time. The ability of Mark finding shots from nowhere, and Higgins’ ability to seize the slightest chances to win the frame from behind and keep himself in the match was fully displayed in this match. Probably not many players can pot this tough red 44:40 in the middle under such pressure. If you haven’t make a video on it I would like to suggest the 2011 WSC semis between Ding and Trump, that one is another classic!

You can make any scrappy match look exciting. But this is the essence of snooker. Two masters of the game, decades of history between them, both fully aware of nuances in their strategic position, antennae raised towards any weakness of their opponent, doing the best they possible can under the ultimate pressure, pulling out brave pots (18:30) and clever tactic decisions in spite of disheartening misses (21:44), both determined to win. This Cesar treatment here is the essence of the essence. Doesn't get any better. Thank you!

The clearance from John to make it 17-16 is one of the best in history. I literally know what he thought at that moment. He knew that he was better. And having this thought in mind he made a mistake (pink into the left center) that brought Mark into the game again. At that moment everyone would break. But not John! Just listen what Hendry said at 47:23 )))) That’s true! But i was cheering for Mark since 1993-1994! And his wins through that championship made me very happy for him and his family!!!
