In 1989 AMG was launched the Mercedes-Benz MB 100 D AMG, 2 years before the company was acquired in 1991 by Mercedes -Benz, this model was a surprise in the automotive world to be a type of vehicle out of the traditional standarts of the tuning brand and the other outstanding Mercedes-Benz models that we were used to be modified such as the 300 CE 6.0 AMG "Hammer", SL 6.0 AMG and SEL 560. In the same year AMG was racing at DTM and fleeting this MB 100 D AMG as way of transport of drivers and staff. This van was made in Spain at Victoria plant to be sold in Germany, France, Belgium, Holland and Italy. AMG took up the challenge by presenting an exclusive vehicle for a field of application that went far beyond that of a delivery van
