Or just don't overcommit and put yourself into a position where he can uppercut. Easier said than done I know, and I wouldn't last 5 seconds in a fight with him but I know that these guys are elite and capable of that and so much more. Michael had a good lead but got too aggressive and wasn't paying much attention to his defense, paid the price for it.

from what ive pieced together from various interviews, he hits like a 185er and a smaller 205er when he really swings wild. which is INSANE for a lightweight who shows up to weighins at 155. guys just got natural power on another level

I know he was a bigger guy but Phil Baroni had some seriously fast hands as well. I know he is locked away in a Mexican prison for the rest of his days on Earth but that doesn't mean he didn't have some fast hands in his prime. I believe Phil Baroni is one of the first of many more to come former fighters who turned the violence up way too far and killed someone because if you look at the span of Baroni's career he took alot of punishment especially toward the end of his career. Mma is still young as a sport but soon they are going to see the effects CTE has on the human brain more and more I'm afraid
