Durant was carrying the team in this series. Kyrie went down with an injury early and no way Harden should’ve been out on the court with his hamstring injury.

Harden was also injured with a grade 2 hamstring strain that is supposed to sideline you for 2 months. He played through it which is why he was a shell of himself

The only thing that stopped the bucks from winning multiple championships in the postseason qas Giannis injured or Middleton injured. Nobody mentions that but they cry about Kyrie and KD's foot. lmao

Everybody talks about KD's foot being on the line, and obviously rightfully so, but damn the entire last three minutes was awesome. The Big Three of the Bucks taking turns hitting big shots as they just desperately tried to survive Durant going "final boss" mode.

It’s crazy how automatic KD was in game 7( until OT). You knew he was gonna get the ball like every possession and he just couldn’t be stopped.

As a bucks fan this one made me age 30 years…,,KD was off a goddamn perc in this series dude was nuts

Modern day classic. Included The foot game. Amazing performances out of KD and Giannis.

Still get goosebumps to this day. What an insane series and a terrible time to be a bucks fan, way to much stress

They were so close to going up 3-0 in the series that’s what swung the momentum was that play by Holliday. This series was a movie

I knew as soon as that happened that this series was going to be decided in Game 7. The Bucks were not going to let the Nets win at Fiserv Forum. That and the crowd was in KD's head in Games 4 and 6.

Game 5 and Game 7 KD were two of the best playoff performances ever, especially that game 5 with the triple double, man. It's still crazy how he lost Kyrie and Harden was practically dragging himself to play on one leg (to me personally he should've rested, he was too injured but I will still always thank he did gave his best in trying to play through the injury), and still was only half an inch away from sending the would-become champs home. Had it been a triple, Nets would've won their first ring ever. I'm 1000% sure of it. But it is what it is, man. Still, every game was just a nerve-wrecking 48 minutes of pure adrenaline, insanely good series.

Crazy underrated series

Those Nets jerseys with the yellow names were so fire

For me the most entertaining Finals was the 2021 Finals between the Suns and Bucks. Each game was just thrilling. Sadly it never had a game 7 for such a competitive and thrilling series

its absolutely crazy that people think you cannot win with KD. this series did a very good job at proving his worth. No superstar is gonna be prime MJ every year in the playoffs. some guys only get 1-2 true contender level supporting casts in their careers and everything else is "disappointment". and even then you need luck to be on ur side as well and not have an untimely injury to those supporting casts...

KD was a rotation over on drue holiday from winning game 3. That's much better the Nets were

Watching that turn around live was insane i was like no way he makes that and then boom crazy that his foot barely was on the line i get the fans who say the nba is scripted cause man that is storybook😭

I knew as soon as the Bucks won that defensive struggle in Game 3 that they would win the series. Because Giannis was gaining confidence for not only himself but his teammates, plus the crowd at Fiserv Forum was going to be in KD's head the rest of the series. (Fun fact: Durant still hasn't won a game at Fiserv Forum since it opened) The only reason Brooklyn even had a chance after Kyrie went down was that they had home court in Game 7. If Game 7 was in Milwaukee, they would have gotten crushed. It also didn't help that Budenholzer coached circles around Nash from Game 3 on. (I still can't believe Bud fell victim to Jimmy Haslam last year) Once the Nets lost Game 7, I knew they weren't going to get that close again. Why? Everyone was going to watch film on Nash's tendencies and expose the fact that he didn't make any adjustments. I was proven correct when the Nets got swept by Boston the very next year.

Giannis really stopped Kyrie, Harden and KD from getting a ring together 😂 Edit: I forgot about the injuries (although I just edited this video smh) sorry guys

The Nets totally embarrassed them in every way possible before injuries struck, and even then KD still came within a millimeter of beating them by himself. Healthy Nets would destroy everyone in the east with zero resistance that year

Such a good series.. infuckntense. I've gone back to this series alot. I've never gone back and watched old games, but damn. I liked this. Giannis should stay in milwaukee, despite what the media wants. They really just push personal preference/agenda. Same for all the greats and role players. Nets could have been consistent contenders. To be honest if i wanted to get a ring. I'd take a pay cut, make room and run. Get paid from endorsements. But, its possible the NBA is leveling out the playing field. The east was a monster at this time. Hopefully its a healthy season. 23-24

Probably the most respected airball anyone has done is a situation like that. Durant was carrying the team on his back the last few games and just couldn’t muster the energy anymore. I’ve never heard anyone have anything but good things to say about his performance this series.
