Thank you for adding this after the fact. However, these sorts of stories should be included on some level during the broadcast. Please, add a segment during the bike and run that shows the athlete either moving up or falling back in the field. This can be accomplished just by running through the tracker mat data and a graphic (but if you could get pictures to match that would go above and beyond). Sam Long’s or Jason West running through the field shouldn’t sneak up to the broadcast when he is in sixth but as it’s happening. Feed the information to the broadcast team and give them something to chew on. It would give Jack Kelly something else to compliment as being “absolutely amazing.” 😁😁 Love the series start. Keep it up!

That was really awesome from Sam. Humility all the way. When he passed Alistair you can see his power and strength. Meat on the bone. Go Sam.

By far the best performance considering the length of time he spends in the water

Lesson for the live commentators.. don't talk shit about any athlete, especially Sam Long, until the race is over. Anything can happen. Eat your words.

The further away from trying to out-wit and out-funny Sam Laidlow after getting owned at Collins Cup, the more I like Sam Long. Mental games was not Sam Long's wheelhouse and Laidlow is a master..

Swim should be longer in middle and long course! Tired of seeing these people who can’t swim win or get on podium. It’s triathlon not duathlon
