Karl Gwapo Boyes you and JJ are the modern version of Billy and Grady on commentary together :) I didn't get to see much of the Scott vs Dippy Dave but Corey put in the most ABSOLUTE clutch pool performance against Dippy giving up 16 - 4 or 18 -4 and lost. My favorite pool match I've ever seen, I think it was on TAR but they lost the footage. Dippy is no slouch or a sucker he just was pumped up and had a TON of gamble. I know that Scott and Dippy matches up playin 9 ball too with Scott winning that and there were some moves on both sides :)

Is that ACME case just a JB knockoff?? I have one of John’s rugged cases and it’s been a beast. The way he stands up for his product makes me think someone is ripping him off.

Karl, this man is the fundamental difference between pool in the US and pool in Europe. US players don’t want to be known. Too bad for the fans because man there are some sharks in the water. Great interview pal!

Maybe Euro players see pool as a sport and US players see pool mainly as a gambling game ? If you gamble a lot, I don't think you want everybody to know your face 😂 In Europe (not every countries), gambling is poorly regarded and gives pool a bad reputation. When I was young, I remember how my pool hall prohibids gamble after some fights between gamblers and police raids to keep the gamblers under surveillance (in France, gambling games are a state monopoly)

Yeah, personally I prefer the sport mentality. I’d much rather watch the best play the best. I was just stating that much of the reason that we don’t get the best always playing in tournament play is due to this difference in culture.

What a great interview 👏 all of us players who can hit a ball and gamble it up some,,, what great insight on the big money game and what it does. I remember in my days climbing put of the 5,10, 20 dollar bets to 100,200,500 bets to the 1000+ bets. You play a couple of those 1000+ sets and then you play the 20 dollar sets and you completely lose your focus,,,, its awesome to see and hear an upper echelon pro talk about it.
