The LINK to his gofundme is absolutely heartbreaking.. ESPECIALLY when you make you way down near the bottom and there is his video blog from 2015, where he is emaciated, raw and begging for a cure/answer, yet, in almost the same breath, showing incredible strength. It affected me for days. One special human.

Best part of this is you sharing this with your daughter. Most important job a father has.

My dad died in september and without him I wouldn't be where I am when it comes to music. Realized that a long time ago, but now that he's gone, I realize it even more. You are so right. This kind of present stays with a kid for a lifetime.

@@Nivleknosnhoj ren is the best artist in my opinion right now. It isn't heavily manufactured trite that every other producer puts out. It is thoughtful, amazingly done musically, video, story and real. The raw emotions and the human touch is something lacking in the musical art form and ren is bringing it back

two amazing things happened to me in the last week, I found Ren and am fully hooked, and also I found you, amazing what a good artist can do with his music and how it takes you on a trip you did not expect, stay free and much love

Imagine being out shopping or having lunch in Brighton and two lads turn up with a wheelbarrow full of their musical kit and then put on a world class performance that gathers a huge audience that closes the road! Best part of the video was “papa stinky “ laughed out loud. Ren got upstaged by your sweetie pie. I miss those days with my kids. But seriously, Ren?! As a trained vocalist I want to hear that massive range more and that gorgeous chest voice full throttle. I’m obsessed. I have Asperger’s syndrome and perfect pitch so I will have to say Sam was pitchy occasionally but for the majority of his performance his falsetto was literally Sam Smith sweet and he had some nice little ascending and descending runs. Busking ain’t for the feint of heart. They were brilliant. I just watched ‘Ren: Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve Retake)’ today and he totally blew my ever loving mind again! He spoke an anthem of lyrics of the great things are and what it means to be a working class Brit using the Verve’s music to rhyme to. As a massive Richard Ashcroft/Urban Hymns (Verve) fan from back in the day Ren made my effin decade with the homage(which he posted was not to be monetized). Really late to this reaction. Just wanted to say that as a father with a young daughter who likes to sit on my lap while I’m working on music in my DAW…I don’t know man.
