I've read a lot of comments criticizing Chris for having top of the line gun, raffles, and whatnot. If your average gun is a Taurus or a Glocks, don't be a hater. Why don't you try to be better in life, so you can afford one too. It's insane how much hate for a gun. Just appreciate the work Chris is putting to entertain you. I'll probably won't have it either, but it's fun to watch someone else enjoying it. Be better.

People are always gonna be jealous. To me, those who revel in jealousy only show others how perpetually infantile & petty they truly are. Yeah, I can't afford an Atlas, much less Taran Tactical Pit Viper/Combat Master, etc. But I sure as hell don't begrudge/hate on people who CAN.

@Kennoisewater123 As well he should. I know I sure as hell don't have the know-how to produce content that TENS OF THOUSANDS of ppl would wanna watch. Who in God's name would wanna sit & listen to me drone on about politics, history or any other thing I'm remotely good at. Because while I'm a better than average shooter, I sure as hell ain't as good as Chris is. Hell, I can BARELY shoot my COMPED PDP Pro, which I now think is the most overrated gun on the market. It's over-sprung & STUPID snappy. Mine's turned into a money pit, & will soon be relegated to "range gun" status. But Chris & his big ole hands just LOVES that thing. Different strokes, I guess.
Nice to watch someone from my own State. I’m south of Des Moines
Hands down one of THE best 2A content creators on YT. I hope to accomplish even a fraction of what you've built on my channel brother! Keep up the great work!
I saw these at Scheels in Colorado Springs this week. They had at least 4 models on display. They are really nice looking and I am sure they are everything and more that Chris says they are. I could never justify the price. I certainly appreciate what they are. You can absolutely purchase gear that will improve your performance IF you have the skill to capitalize on that. I’m not a great long range shooter but I used a Cadex rifle and it was a cheat code for a 5k rifle. Cool content as always.
Atlas Rocks! I have shot a couple of them and the hardest thing for me to get used to was the trigger. It is so light! KEEP ON ROCKING!
You rock!!! Definitely learning more and more from your channel that was recommended to me from the range I frequent. Had to turn on notifications so I didn't miss the giveaways but rest assured this is DEFINITELY one of my forever channels!!!! #BecomingAConnoisseurOfTheBangBang

No Atlas Gunworks Apollo video. Hopefully you'll get a chance to review it then I would like to read if things changes.
We had an Atlas Nemesis come in as a consignment not optic ready but excellent irons. They are asking 6800 for it and I literally laughed out loud when I heard that.Then I picked it up and racked it. I put back down and said “Yup 6800 seems reasonable to me “ the gun is slicker than turkey crap through a tin horn.
I would love to have an Atlas but I labor for a living. If someone wants to drop $5000-$10000 in my lap I would gladly give it up for one of their beautiful guns. Don’t see that happening but I can always hope.

Hi folks I just wanted to let everyone know something about the sweepstakes. It’s a legit sweepstakes. I was unhappy because I felt I was overcharged. I talked to the reps and they said they would return my funds, no problem. You do not have to pay anything to enter, just send a 3x5 card or cards to them (they have the info on their site) and they will enter you to win for free. For those that would like to support KZreadr’s and their favorite content, this is a good way to show your support. You can buy a mug and also buy an extra 100 entries. Half the money collected goes to support the sweepstakes and half to the KZreadr’s to help support them and the content they create. For me, this just shows I need to read the fine print before jumping to conclusions. I’m getting really bad at that lately. I hear old age can do that to a person. Thanks. ❤

Okay Timmy
I've said this before. While videos like this are cool they're fantasies for your audience. Like watching videos of Bugatti test drives or how to perfectly sear a $1000 A5 steak. Give us videos of the new Hellcat Comp or Taurus 605 Toro for example. You could buy the Hellcat, several Taurus' like the 692 357/9mm, Rossi revolvers, budget and gun clones like Tisas and Girsan and how they compare to the original, etc all for less than 1 Atlas. You'd have a months worth of content that people might actually buy based on your experience and trusted opinion. As great as your viewership is it would be even greater. 1 of the things i love about Paul Harrell. He'll review a $200 Winchester Wildcat 22lr. That plus his scientific style 😂

It's about being informed. Go back through the inventory of this channel. There are tons of content on Working Guy/Gal -priced firearms. But learning about the engineering and finish that goes into high-end firearms helps me be a more discerning consumer of Guns that I can afford. Part of what makes this channel different is the thoughtful attention paid to every gun featured, regardless of price or source. I'm not required to enter the raffle, and neither am I going to be angry about not owning a boutique shooter like that one. I AM going to learn about it. I AM going to enjoy watching folks enjoy shooting it...then go up the hill to my own range and enjoy figuring out how to miss closer with info from this channel.

Apollo is great easily the best all around Atlas pistol for the money. It and the Artemis are neck and neck my favorites.
I will note that you can get pretty damn close to Atlas trigger quality when you get a custom trigger job from a reputable gunsmith. I ended up having the parts in my Prodigy replace after I messed something up (still not 100% what) and the trigger is nuts and as of the last competition it was at about 600rds without a fuss. PS. The gun overall has about 1300rds through it in the past few months, but I induced the hammer follow issue at about 700 and then had to send it out for 2 weeks.
@leftyo9589
16 күн бұрын
the same quality trigger job can be put on just about any 1911, so long as the hammer/sear pin holes arent too far out of whack. a 1911 trigger job isnt rocket science, but it does take some skill.
Use mine in the Tactical Games and absolutely love it!

It’s for competition guys, but I don’t get the reasoning. They switch mags out constantly, not my deal
@dewdrummer4384
15 күн бұрын
Its for competition. They usually are counting their rounds and preplanning mag changes which are always while they still have rounds in the chamber, basically makes things slightly faster. Ive also heard of people doing it to prevent breaking their extractor in the heat of things but not sure how necessary that is.
Do a comparison! I couldn’t afford any of them at this point in my life but I never miss a video. 🤣
Can you review the atlas apollo?
Battle of the 7k 2011s. Sounds good. Out of curiosity, why does the slide not lock back on purpose? What is the purpose? #alwaystryingtolearnmore
@triggerbarPhD
16 күн бұрын
In competition people plan their stage, how many shots before a reload. So they know exactly when to reload. Then if you change the part of magazine that locks the slide back, mag follower, then you can usually get one or two more rounds in the mag. So if you know it’s 20 shots before you reload and you have a 21 round mag, you reload right at that spot and you keep a round in the chamber and don’t have to rack the slide when it locks back. Or something like that 😂😂😂
@HammerliFanBoy
16 күн бұрын
@@triggerbarPhDwhen I stage plan, I aim for reloads at about 16 rounds. That leaves me about 5 rounds for makeup shots without screwing up my plan.
@triggerbarPhD
16 күн бұрын
@@HammerliFanBoy thanks. Yah I’m not an expert at it but I know it’s because there is a plan to reload and you never want to rely on slide lock back to reload and you want to reload with a round in the chamber, so why lose capacity if you never get to that point. Thanks for clarifying.
@perraultd
14 күн бұрын
Major weakness in the design of 2011’s is you can easily damage the ejector by jamming a mag home with the slide locked back. You don’t want to go to slide lock bc it’s slower, yes, but also with 2011’s specifically you risk damaging the gun.
How does it compare to the Nighthawk Sandhawk? Yes I know the NHC is comped but still interested.

Please make a video comparing it to the Athena. Is there really a benefit on the front sight block? I own an Athena, most people say it returns faster to zero. But really curious if there is a noticeable difference with the Artemis.

So next gun permit will be for Shadow 2 compact. 9 mm under 20 ammo magazine handgun is pretty easy to get in Finland.

My only problem with having this as home defense is the potential of losing your firearm to the authorities in the event of having to discharge your weapon to defend your family.
