I see these around from time to time in the UK. I've always really loved the cube after seeing them everywhere in Japan in the early 2000s and cars with that styling but, dreamt something more afforable. My cousin had the dihatsu siren and it was super reliable too. So great to see these cars getting some love on here 👏 thank you

That one is in my hands.

We have the only one Materia in Norway. Love this unusual, funny little car. No problems. It is a 2008 model, black, passed the EU control with no comments in May. Tomorrow it will have a new treatment with Lanolin oil. Will continue to take good care of it.

And it's to small for most of today's cups (as usual for this period) 😀 it also has a square cutout that would be perfect for cell phone but it's to small too for today's standard 😂

Its was my car for 8 years and i passwith her over 279k kilometer , and you know what, i still wana buy another one like this also live in the nuture 159 day as a small camper car. If you change part and take care of this vhiacle, it will gives you love and smile every time you will watching on it ❤

Actually it's a in house Daihatsu engine. In fact Daihatsu may be better in engineering simple engines than Toyota🙂 Although we all understand that's owned by Toyota

@@lazarstevanovic8887 if it was serviced regularly (or some what about 🙂) than it's indestructible, don't worry. Just look if there is not too much of rust. P.S. one interesting auto fact: Aygo, C1 and 107/108 petrol versions are also equiped by three cylinder Daihatsu engine - strange right..? 😂

@@garbagecargarage It is, the vehicle is in perfect condition. Has 130k, no rust. I have watched your video and i remeber that you mentioned about rust. Nice vide by the way. And thanks for the fact about 107 and Aygo, i didn't know that also :)

Hi. Not really. In fact second gen xb had a 1.5 engine but 1nz-fe while Materia shared Daihatsu 3sz-ve witch was used more JDM and in Daihatsu models. P.S. JDM Toyota called Bb nothing to do with U.S. Scion. In fact Materia is a "puffed" Sirion

Do we really have to have wtf plastered over the thumbnail of a video on a unusual ,( in some parts of the world) car review.?
