Honestly public spaces in my opinion that are random infrastructure walls or just blank walls with no anesthetic value are free game. Like if its not private property why not. Like once agai. If its infrastructure or maintenance or utility buildings with no anesthetic value i dont see why not. There should be a pay to paint for anyand all these spaces. Everymonth someone can pay to paint it whatever, no drug use, no porn/erotica (nudity is ok natural), no grotesque violence, i think ads as long as they arent apart of a larger campaign and are unique to that piece why not? It would make our city more revenue, more buzz in general, give a space for more artists, and put more artists to work. Large companies pay like 1000 a spot, small companies like 300, individuals 200. Something like that. And have a list for popular locations on reserve and cap the limit of prepaid spot reservations. Like 2 months max, including tgs month the spot is yours. And at your own risk safety wise etc.

A lot of people do care. They don’t appreciate seeing the city defecated upon. It’s not art. It’s vandalism. The cretins who do this have no respect or consideration for anyone or anything except for their own juvenile “artistic” endeavors. Period.

It's not art, and not about art for the most part. Maybe 1-5% is. And even so, without permission it's disrespectful and an eye sore forced onto the property owner and/or the community. Keep it on a canvas or the rare disused out of sight "canvas".

You’re selfish. How about you offer up your house for them to tag all over. What’s art about tagging “eyor rango mazy” on a 405 sign? Do enlighten.
