I am not from the US and for me Lee ticks all the boxes for "great outdoors American hero": the good values, the charisma, the siding with those in need and the unique and contagious laugh.
Those German Shepherds recognize a savior when they see one. Bless you Lee!
As a mom of GSD’s over the past 33 years, I’d like to especially thank you for rescuing them!

Do they all walk/ spin in circles? I work at a pet resort and notice that GS all seem to spin around before being let out to play. They are probably my favorite breed, after doberman. They rarely pull hard on a leash and seem to pay attention to whoever is handling them. I've been knocked over, humped, trampled and dragged around by other big dogs but never by a German shepherd.
These poor dogs are starving for love and affection. They’ve got a great home now. Free to run, run, run. Great job, Lee. ❤
Man. To EVERYONE doing this work ~ you're so loved and appreciated. Thank you, Lee!!!

Keep in mind that often, people don't have a choice in the matter. Their house burned down or they lost their house for some other reason or their job or somebody died or they welt through a serious health issue or other dramatic life change, or perhaps somebody in their family is abusing the dog and they just want that dog to be safe! We can't judge what we don't know and we cant hate people for surrendering their dog to a no kill shelter. Focusing on that is the wrong objective. Our objective should only be on the animals and their future.

Financially, a lot of folks are struggling too hard to feed themselves right now. I understand. I will not adopt again, because I worry about being a good provider in this economy. I feed a herd of cats. It is what I can do

When Lee scooped up the big Mal mix, The dog knew who the boss was. If I were 30 years younger, I'd be on your doorstep to adopt that big boy. He reminds me of my 120 lb Malinois, the dog in my heart forever.
There is only one thing I can say about Lee . I would give anything in this world to have more of him around. He s a true hero and such amazing human being. I don't know of anyone so special and remarkable. He is the true meaning of a real man. God bless you, Lee. we truly deeply love you, and we wish you all the best and the fur babies. Lee, your kissing them is their luckiness moment in life. Never apologize for it. Don't let a persons words keep you from being yourself. Don't let people without your magic influence you.
@TheKatarinaGiselle

He isn't apologizing for doing it, he is apologising for setting a poor example for people who do not know/connect to dogs the way he does, for people who do not have his energy. He is right for making that disclaimer because you never know how a dog may react, esp. a dog whose history is unknown.

Dogs just gravitate to Lee. It's like instant love and trust.
How could you not fall in love with each one?! Especially Phoenix and the Cattle Dog Brothers! I have a 12 year old Red Cattle Dog. Cassie and I are joined at the hip, especially now that she is my one remaining dog after rescuing tens of dogs here on my little ranch (I am 80 now). Every time I see a dog and fall in love, I have to remind myself that it would be irresponsible to adopt another -- because I have to outlive my dogs so I don't leave them. I do love rescue pups!!! 🤠🐶💞

Judi, Deborah here writing from South Carolina by way of Colorado. Your comment touched my heart. I have always had Red Heelers. My last 3 were littermates; Ruth, Naomi, and Abigail. They were trained on hand signals and in 3 languages. The 4 of us went everywhere together. We only had 2 speeds; Mach 9 or Comatose. We were big into Frisbee and Agility competitions, and of course, they are swimming fools! Sadly, all 4 of us were viciously attacked in a public park by Pitbulls that the irresponsible owners were allowing to run at large; no vaccinations either. The Pitbulls mercilessly mauled us; my girls eventually died from their massive injuries. It's been 2.5 years, but it's still very traumatic to think about. I'm left paying off tens of thousands of medical and vet bills, along with nightmares and PTSD. I'm so grateful for the many years that God allowed me to love and care for Ruth, Naomi, and Abigail. We had so much fun together! ❤

@@dgood3265 From Judi: Oh My G-d, Deborah!!! I am so, so, so very sorry about the tragedy that happened to you and your Wonderful Red Heeler Pack!!! Your comment was so uplifting, talkin' about Ruth, Naomi and Abigail and the absolutely riotous time you all had together. Then the bomb went off and I'm still crying. My Cassie's little ranch is in inland Southern California foothills in a community (not a town yet). We do have rattlesnakes here, a huge concern especially with only one dog now, but little Cassie is well trained in rattlesnake avoidance. Cassie is brilliant. I can use hand signals or words and she obeys despite never having been trained to them. She is a bit stubborn at times, but that is to be expected with the breed, right? She cracks me up at night. There are three big, fluffy dog beds in our room, but she always starts sprawled out on the thinly carpeted floor. Cassie has a doggie door, but doesn't prefer to leave me to go outdoors. She sits staring at me until I "get the message". Do you not have a dog now, Deborah? That alone would be very difficult. I found Cassie at a nearby Humane Society shelter! I sincerely wish health and happiness to you! Know that God loves you, Ruth, Naomi and Abigail with great tenderness. I believe your Girls will joyfully meet you in Heaven one day. 🥰😇🐶🐶🐶😇🥰
They're ALL amazing, it's hard to believe people have to surrender them. Each one in their own right is very special and gorgeous!
How can you not love a person with such a big heart as yours.

So many GSDs and BelMals. We found a BelMalX just running around on the street. No one would claim her, so she's ours now. So sad these beautiful pups end up in shelters or worse, euathanized. The Asher House is a bright light in the darkness.
How happy their little faces are when they're running around the field. The pupper will be able to run off all that excess energy now
I know your job is overwhelming at times but I cannot thank you enough We’re taking all these dogs in. You are a special person sending love and hugs..❤️
6:13 Lee getting down there with the cattle dog, to give it some back and protection, is why I watch this channel. I'm sure someone out there would tell me that's not safe to do, but I would do it for mine in a heartbeat. Thanks Lee!
You can really see that these working dogs need work to do. They are so full of energy and ready for their new jobs and new homes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I already watched this on FB, but I can’t help but watch again. The bond Lee has with these babies from the get is amazing. I know he tells everyone not to do what he does, which is good advice, but he’s like the dog whisperer and just seems to make these precious babies feel safe. I love how he is so patient with everything. My girl is still very reactive with dogs because of what was done to her in the shelter by bigger dogs. It didn’t help that the shelter isolated her for safety instead of trying different ways to put her with other dogs. I know shelters are overwhelmed right now, it just breaks my heart that she wants to play and yet is too terrified to even have a dog close to her so she gets reactive and people think she’s a bad dog and she absolutely isn’t. She is so great with my son who is nonverbal and autistic. She knew from day one not to jump on him. She has so much patience with him and he even started saying, “Good girl”! I just want her to learn that other dogs are safe.
It's amazing you never seem to have drama on the way home with a group of new dogs from a shelter ! They must all be reassuring each other they are on the way to someplace wonderful.... they feel your love for them, your confidence in their goodness. They just know their life will be so much better now ! I love you, Lee ! Keep doing what you do... we are all praying for you and your staff and for the best outcomes possible for you and all the animals in your care!❤❤❤

One of my favorite rescue days! So many big, wound up dogs, but Lee had all under control. I'd love to see them romping at the sanctuary being happy puppers. Thank you Lee and team for all of your efforts and love of these animals. 😇💙🐕🐶🐷🐴🦙
I merely want to drop a comment. Lee, your sanctuary is giving the world a better place - thank you so much !!
I can't imagine how those breeds of dogs especially, feel in a shelter environment. They are literally built for running and working, so yeah, great to see they are free now. Gotta love it!
If this video was twice as long, it still wouldn't be long enough ! 🐕 ❤
You put your heart and soul into these poor forsaken creatures. You have a heart of gold. So thankful for everything you’ve accomplished ♥️🙏🐾
Dog’s are such pure joy aren’t they. What amazing animals!
It breakers my heart to see German Shedders, so beautiful in a shelter. Thanks for giving them a shot at a good life.

Brings so much happiness to see them running around gleefully. Thank you so much!
i got a asher house hoodie and tote and am proud to support and represent in some small way the incredible work done, in rescue and love for the dogs, cats and animals! protect the weak and support the ones that make a difference!
Oh my heart. As an owner of a GSD (our 3rd rescue) I can’t thank you enough to take these smart majestic beautiful dogs.
They were already a pack living in the same shelter only being housed in small cells . Now, they’re a pack living at new home with many acres of land to run free! Thanks to ppl involved in saving them! The shelter that they came from I’d give them high praise & credit that the dogs they shelter look very healthy.
It's amazing how you can see the dog's expressions go from fear to relief! They actually are smiling! ❤
I think it was interesting the way Cash went from scared to calm as soon as Blake entered. Lee has a fabulous sense of what works.
Soooo happy for these blessings we're witnessing here. ❤😊🎉🎉

I just cant get over how happy these dogs are when they arrive at your ranch. Unbelievable joy!
Their joy at being able to just run free is wonderful
I’m a new comer and how the shelter lady works is just amazing. I didn’t know much about how they do their thing inside the shelter but damn she really is a PRO.
Those fur baby's could feel all that love that Lee gives them.We all love Lee also.
Aw, they looked so happy getting out of the truck and running around. They are living the life now
Lee we need your help in Bakersfield California. Here is the story. There is a content creator who video's live driving around and feeding stray dogs. We came across two dogs. They were near the side of the road amongst the orange groves. In one house was a pit bull we call Zeus. In the other house there was a female shephard/husky mix. Young a bit over a year. After going out and feeding them, the content creator (Jacob) fell in love with Zeus and was contemplating taking him home. He would bring his son out there to play with Zeus. Zeus was always so excited for Jacob to come see him and play. After going there a few times it was discovered that mama dog had two puppies. Little pitties mixes. Zeus was a daddy. Little black pitties that were so adorable. Anyway we went out to visit and feed and play with the dogs and doggies. There was no Zeus!!! The camera was then placed on mama dog Lucy and the pups while Jacob drove around looking for Zeus. He found him. Shot dead. Looking near the dog houses there were bullet casings. We all panicked. Jacob loaded up the mama dog Lucy and her pups and all were trying to find homes for them. In Bakersfield all shelters are kill shelters. We weren't having none of that. Anyway, the two puppies were found loving fur ever homes. The adoption was filmed and both pups are in absolutely great homes. We still need to find a home for Mama Lucy? She is a beautiful dog. She is obedient, good with children and a very calm disposition. She does not jump up on you even when Jacob wanted her to. I think she was severely abused. I do know that a few viewers on Jacobs channel emailed you. Jacob drove 6 hours one way to re-home little Boots the puppy. Please can you take mama dog Lucy? Jacob found out he could lose his apartment if he has another dog. So it wouldn't have worked out with Zeus anyway. Poor mama dog Lucy has been through a lot for her young life. Losing Zeus her protector among a coyote infested area and now her puppies. Maybe this will get the attention of Lee and his team. Thank you and God Bless
Would be nice to see them having their first meal in freedom. Well done Lee.
HOME 🏠 SWEET HOME !!!!!! LET GO. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. Doggies. Boys and Girls

Sasha is such a sweetheart. And by the way: Isn't it amazing to see and to know that there is a way to speak to animals without a person ever teaching us? To know their instincts and their need of a pack and a leader in orde to feel safe? These animals in shelters, caged up in solitairy... its just pure horror in my eyes. Why are shelters doing this to dogs? It just breaks my heart.
