Typically stateside ,looks fantastic but little or no homework done by the creators. While I accept the track layout has to fit in the car, there's no excuse for getting the adverts, logos and car names over the pits in completely the wrong style. In the actual 1970 race the solar productions camera car was the black 908, but during the post race filming sequences an open top gt40 was used to capture other footage. Fans of the film can do no better than to find a copy of the book, A French Kiss With Death, the full story of the making of the film, complete with associated photographs.

Not to mention the modeling was done by a newb. A one year hobbyist could do better.

The camcar is totaly wrong. You present a GT40 Spyder Gulf Livery, and should be a all black Porsche 908 Flunder.

@@MasteG46 Yes, it's a masterpiece! I would like to have it, but unfortunatly I need the money for other projects (like a classic Rally Car), and on top I would need to build a much bigger man cave wich is açready much bigger then my other half would like. Anyway, I sugest the future owner to buy a 908/02 Flunder body, to mount the cam, paint it all black and he can fit it on the same chassis of the GT40 Spyder just to be correct. About the modern Mclaren road car, e can buy a DMC Delorean 1/32 body to replace the de Mclaren's using the same chassis and tell his friends that Doc and Marty are "Back from the Future", it's funny and out of the box. If he want's to keep it serious, he can just replace the Mclaren body for another car, there were 46 entryes plus 10 or so reserves, so there are a lot of cheap solutions to correct a small error in a very, very nice and expensive toy with a colector's value. Don't get me wrong, my critic it's just because it's so easy to fix, and to make it right, the 917KH isn't enough, a 917LH body would be needed... the size of an 18 wheeler.
