@Gabriel Bianchi are you implying deaf people can’t enjoy music? Look up Nico DiMarco. He’s a DJ and he’s deaf. He and many other deaf people can enjoy it via the vibrations it emits through big speakers and stuff. Actually, Nico’s brother Nyle is also deaf and he won America’s Next Top Model and then went on Dancing with the Stars which he ALSO won, despite not being able to hear the songs he and his partner danced to. He could FEEL them through the floor.

Oh my goodness you are cute, Jacob. God sure knew what he was doing when he chose Jacob's mom. He knew Jacob needed someone who was patient & kind & would love him unconditionally. This really warmed my heart.

Jacob is so adorable! His giggles are too cute! And the way he hummed the song warned my heart :).

He sang that scale down perfectly in tune- music is evidently an important part his life and music therapy would have a huge impact.

This guy’s love for music has me thinking he’ll be a great musician with time. I can see him being an awesome pianist, or really any instrument. His mom is doing a great job realizing his interest in music, she should continue developing that skill of his into something amazing!

I watched this on the fourth of July, last year. A really wholesome video that needs more attention, glad comments are back!

Jacob is a wonderful boy with a lovely mom and I hope he lives a lovely happy life!!!

I hope that his family and therapists work on teaching him keep his mouth closed. That will help with controlling drooling and make chewing and swallowing easier. It seems like he will be able to speak one day, too, fingers and toes all crossed! A sweety I knew with Angelman's learned to keep her mouth closed which stopped her drooling (she also went on to learn to be self-preserving and was transferred to a group home). Sometimes it can take a long time and abundant patience, but children can learn to meet milestones. It seems like he will do well with music therapy. You go, Jacob!

have they done genetic testing yet? this kid has a gene mutation, your cousin could have a mutation or a bit of genetic scrambling

@@daraghokane4236 His condition has no name, but they did figure out what mutation caused his condition. All genes have names, and the exact mutation can also be specified by indicating the location within the gene and the change in the sequence.
