If I ever spend $185,000 on a frigging van please hospitalize me as I’ve lost my nuts. I would rather shit in a bucket in a van than pay that ridiculous price. Like they say a sucker is born every minute
I LOVE the 4 captain chairs, and the bathroom without the shower. I wish the tv lowered from the ceiling, or was a projector setup, I wish the front captain seats swiveled/ rotated. I wish there was the option of inserting a table for all 4 captain chairs to eat at. If all 4 or 3 captain chairs could recline with ottomans, I would give up the rear chair/ sleep area for at least a 1 sided very basic kitchenette / multi purpose the bathroom sink and a relaxing tv watching chair Definitely needs a sliding screen door. And window that open for natural air flow. Given all of that. One of my most favorite camper van... touring van
The tv/ducking is a deal breaker
I agree with Patrick and Andrea about the dislikes and I would add the fridge in the bathroom. 🤢 Likes are the second row captain chairs, bathroom and shades. Love the idea of this type of cruiser for day trips with friends or even extended road trips where you do a lot during the day and have this as your sanctuary. My husband doesn’t always want to do what I like. He will nap in our truck and/or look after the dog while I take photos, go shopping etc. This would be great for many uses. 👍
This is an HYBRID URBAN CAMPER LIMO.... BUST OUT THE DISCO BALL N PARTY LIGHTS!!!!
Likes- spacious bathroom, microwave oven, lighting, all white front grill. Dislikes- tv blocking cockpit, no privacy shade on door.
The TV housing is a deal killer for so many reasons. Put it on a motorized pivot at this price point. We missed you Andrea!
kids would love the bathroom, no stopping..
Honestly with the way the new appliances work. You could build a counter, over half of the sofa, that folds up and still has your stovetop and sink / kitchen counter, like a murphy bed. As for the back bathroom, just use waterproof materials and a floor drain, and something like the Tuff Stuff Shower Tent all without changing the size. The problem with most of the bathrooms in those things is that they build them on the side rather than in the back like that. There is really no reason to not have it also be a shower room. My third thing would be that the TV system Flips up/ sideways so it doesn't ALWAYS have to block off the cab area.
You can get a drink and snack out of the fridge while in your prime pooping position. If there was TV in there you might never need to leave. 👍
Sounds like the tv blocks the circulation of cool air from the front getting to the back of the van.
We went to Regency's website and found their Ultra 25MB fit more of our criteria: full bath, kitchen, big wardrobe provides some actual storage for longer trips. The size and maneuverability of a Class B/Super B fits our style of touring, but they always lack storage for trips that are weeks or months long. So, given comfortable recliners, we'd actually like something like the Xalta Tour 2.2, but with a wardrobe in lieu of one bed, counter storage instead of the other bed, and skip the TV altogether.
I love the unit but it would have been better if they made the TV fold down out of the ceiling like an American coach
As far as Class B vans go - it's really small but very nice!
Needs a screen door. Got a microwave, sink and frig = kitchen matt
Nice concept and review!
The xalta is beautiful.
That tv should be on flip up hinges, would allow front seats to swivel too and make a convo area with lagun or pedestal table for eating or office use... Having flip down counter under microwave would make that space more a kitchen, give you some prep space. I agree the 1/2 bath nice; having an outdoor shower for rinse offs when bath house not plausible would be nice.
always love seeing andrea and her dresses!
Well, that was fun LOL!
Matt knows he is super bougie 🤣🤣🤣
WOW!
That's a modern day limo for the fearful of flying.

Fearful of flying yes, and some people just hate flying like myself. I’d rather drive if I can get there by vehicle. I’ll fly if I’m in a rush to get there. Road trips are fun depending on the people you’re with. Still, this unit is way out of price range for a road trip vehicle imo.
You should try to look at an Ultra Continental. It is amazing.
If someone is using the toilet than access to Refrigerator is off limits. Moreover, I don't want actual Food to be in the Bathroom. Also, If People don't wash their Hands then start touching items inside the Fridge, then expect Food poisoning.
Like this unique RV. Love the front driver and cocaptain area. Hate the bad design of the pass through and tv setup. That should be on hinges to swing up out of the way(?) I look at this to drive to golf course tours. Also the accessibility and comfort for my husband with mobility issues. I think he would be very comfortable in this rig. Enjoyed the review.
Love it, but too small.
Make a good business travel vehicle.
Dislike: To me this vehicle is totally impractical. The passengers in the back can't even talk to the front passengers (unless everyone wears a headset like in a small airplane). It has a microwave but no freezer. What are you cooking? It's basically a small SUV with a toilet. It didn't even look that luxurious. The B+ you reviewed there was much more classy with the Burl wood cabinets.
Hi, Matt & Andrea 👋👋 Cool unit! Great for road trips, getting from point A to point B. But at that price point, I'd want a little counter/lower cabinet--someplace to put a portable conduction cooktop & some supplies--and they could make the bathroom "water friendly", so you could set up a hose/showerhead at the sink to get cleaned off. Love the TV, but they should have made it flip up for when it's not in use. Even if I could afford that, I'd rather spend that much money on a true RV rather than an expensive not-really-an-rv.

Well said Trish
I meant Induction cooktop
If it had a shower and a generator or solar I would consider it.
Great class b for long road trips. That TV could have been a fold up. So one can poop and get a drink or candy bar out of the fridge 🤔 🙃.
well if i was in the class b market this would be the one for me. i love roadtripping and this is the one for that. only dislike is the TV. make smaller or fold up.
This is great for a long road trip with family without having to stop for bathroom breaks. I love to drive from nj to Florida once or twice a year. Unless I’m a millionaire, I wouldn’t buy one of these. This is good for a “ just because.”
they need to get rid of the tv.. so you can recline the front seats.. perfect for for long distance driving, all night fishing with your wife, going to festivals, swap meets where you don't like to use public restrooms, .. the roomy toilet in the back, SOLD ! I believed once word is out about this type of RV, SOLD SOLD SOLD !
Nice 👍🏻
I agree three captains chairs are enough and maybe seatbelts for the sofas. I notice there are no tables, Laguan or otherwise. They could have a pullout faucet for an outdoor shower in back.
Totally agree with your 3 and 3, that TV 📺 might as well be a rear projection due to the overwhelming footprint. Couple that with the MSRP, took me from 😁 to 😏 this truly is a business model set up, the owner is a limousine service that takes folks to the Cowboy Game, pays $200 to park inside the limo parking, to then scoop up the riders after the game, where they can continue drinking while sitting the the horrible Arlington TX traffic. Bonus points if the Cowboys, The Rangers, and Six Flags let out all at the same time.
Love that it doesn’t have a generator or propane Wish it had a kitchen with a two burner convection stove top and shower and since it’s on the 170 extended I would want a wee bit of a garage area at the back for tools, folding camp chairs and picnic table.
I love this class b I love the captains chairs, I love the tv, and the bed. I don’t like that you can’t get from the front to the back without getting out, small fridge but no room for bigger one. It’s out of my price range.
I LOVE this vehicle not being a full RV but this would be great for a long road trip. I have seen similar of these but they never do a toilet test in the bathroom so I thought my larger frame wouldn't fit in it. I hate the speaker in the cab area..that can be so loud if the kids blast the tv I hate that the tv is stationary it would be nice if it was like a drop-down I might hate or not hate ...I can't tell if the sofas have seatbelts..hate if it doesn't LOVE if it does
toss open the back doors, and you will have a prime pooping position.
Welcome to TX Matt and Andrea. another great video
What I look for in class b is wet bath, quiet generator that's gasoline, bed that can double as sitting area that faces TV, some type of dinning area. Decent wardrobe closet and good storage, solar. What people want in class b is being self contained studio essentially...most people that buy these are single at most married. It needs to work, people that are older with family etc they don't go out buying class b van. Those people get travel trailers class c or a.
I like it for a long road trip but to pay that price you could get an RV.
Thanks Matt and Andrea for another great review! Dislikes #1 giant crawl under tv! 2. Would rather have three seats with swivels in front. 3. I’d like a better spot for a coffee maker and a larger sink with a pull out faucet. And OMG that price! Too much money 💰 Likes 1. Toilet!!! More bathroom less everything else😊! 2. Awning, wish it were white 3. Nice paint job and nice seats.
You guys need to work with, big truck big RV.
Not really a camper but if you took long drives to grandmas house would be nice. I agree with Matt, 3 capt chairs and a small kitchen. I can add a screen. Nice rig.
If the TV flipped up out of the way and the chairs swiveled or one less chair, sink faucet in bathroom up higher so you could used it better because there is on kitchen and white awning then it would be perfected
Don't like M/B chassis. You don't have to duck under. Stop van, exit through panel door. enter driver cabin through driver/passenger doors. How many times do you change drivers without stopping? Does immovable TV panel allow for consumption of alcohol by rear passengers (as with a limo)? Very classy, however, not enough room for luggage.
Ultimate toys builds one superior to this one
Fridge in the bathroom? NOPE! Move one of those captain chairs and use that for a fridge/storage area. And what's the deal with that t.v. blocking the cab? MSRP with taxes and fees...almost $200,000. Bummer.
If you are taller than Matt, can you imagine crawling from the front seats to back because it’s raining outside? This is not a doable van!
This is a fascinating vehicle. But. . . I think the Tab is too big. Sitting that close to it from the back captains's chairs makes it way too hard to really see what you're watching. Plus, if you're riding down the road in the back chairs - very claustrophobic. Thanks for the review!
With 3 captains chairs, that would be exactly what we are looking for right now for a touring van.
This thing makes me want to hit the road. This probably would be good for ,camp a little ,stay in the hotel, type trip. This was a beautiful van and the review was top rate 👌
This almost seems made for commercial use in mind, tailgate reservations, corporate intercity transport, concert trips etc. The colors, the lights, the separation from the cab all tell me that
Okay, first off, I think you are suppose to get out of the cab side doors then walk around to the side entry door. Wow, the rear seats are like theater seats. $186K really, uh not for me but you can take a crap and grab a beer from the fridge at the same time. Now that is cool.
WOW😯 you guys are making our decision hard to decide. 🤔😀 Thanks for sharing all the #vanlife vans👍🏻😍 Hey Patrick 👐
Outdoor shower would have been nice and the t.v should have been made to flip up. Cockpit is great, interior is sharp and the toilet is a ppp. Good class B unit. Excellent review y'all. Thanks for the honesty as always. Stay safe and may God bless y'all even more.
If it is not a camper per se, why add an awning? If you add an awning, why not have a screen door for the in/out coexistence? If it just a day tripper, why even add a large bathroom since during the day it is so much more convenient to stop on the road? And if it lacks all of these things, why is it close to 200k?
My biggest dislike is the tv. It needs to raise up for assess to the cab specially if you are traveling with others in the van.
WOW !! A class B for Matt with "PPP!" This coach is beautiful with the luxury features. It's a cool 😎 road trip or as you said, a luxury touring van. This would be great if you are too posh to carry a cooler with snacks & drinks & want a real fridge. And they drive and stay in hotels. It's great for familys with small children who 'gotta go" and don't say anything until you already passed an exit. Or, even more so, someone with insulin dependent diabetes can carry their insulin in the fridge & there's still room between the 2 long seats for a cooler. Are there any seatbelts behind the captains chairs. - The TV should definitely be at the ceiling and be able to flip up and down. - I would like to see a flip up or down table that someone could work at in 1 or 2 of the captains chairs. - Also a mountable table between the 2 - There's not much storage for stuff like luggage at duffle bags. They could attach one of those storage bins I've seen in other B videos to hold the stuff you bring & still have legroom.
👍
Why four seats in a van this size? I couldn’t imagine travelling with four people in a small van like this. Couldn’t the space be better used?
@philc.9280
2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. You could have two twin beds instead of the 3rd and 4th seat. The TV should be able to swing up so you don't have to crawl underneath.
@xToddmcx
2 жыл бұрын
It's because it's not an RV, it's a passenger van. 4 people travel in comfort and then stay in a hotel for the night. My complaint isn't the captains chairs, it's the couches. You don't need couches and you don't need a bed. Remove those, put a galley in front of the toilet to make lunch, and on the other side storage where the sink and other couch are. If you're going to make a touring coach go all in. You don't need a bed, shower, A/C, heater, generator, or battery bank (leave the engine running during lunch). You also don't need more seating, you have 4 comfy chairs for 4 people. But you need space for 4 people's luggage.

@@xToddmcx It shouldn't then be marketed as a class B but just a commuter van then. A class B should have a small kitchen and wet bath
@danoc51

I can understand there is some market for a day cruiser but $186K for Class B without a shower or decent kitchen is bonkers. I would be ashamed to have this on my lot at this price.

@@xToddmcx traditionally; conversion vans like this had beds, but not for sleeping
Don't like Price because I can buy Class A for same price . That mean full kitchen and bathroom with shower for same money.
The TV placement is deal breaker for me. If you are traveling with another couple you are totally isolated from them. To bad cause I liked the rest of it.
That was a great video by you two. I agree with all your negatives but I also would like a wet bath even if you never used it. It wouldnt take away much by how it looks without one and ya never know when you may feel stinky right! 😆
If this had an outdoor shower...it would be near perfect!
What happened to Regency's National Traveler? I can't find it anywhere on their website.
What was the CCC? Especially with 6 seatbelts……
Love Matt and Andrea but do not love no shower…..and lots of other things I would want
we dont like the tv and the party lights would rather see more AC through the cabin. but overall for a touring Van very nice. Thanks Matt and Andrea.
Thanks Matt and Andrea! I am loving the new frequency of videos!
Well made, but incomplete..... This is more like a giant limo...... Also, why not find some way to fold the T.V out of the way? The best part of the video? Miss Andrea..... Mr. Matt, you are truly a lucky man,,,,
I actually don't like the fact that the tv doesn't move "up" and out of the way when not being used. I don't think the front seat passenger should have to crawl under that screen to use the bathroom.
Seems people cannot wrap their minds around the simple fact that this is not an RV.
@johnminnott7334

Amen
That extra large 📺 is hideous.
Is this the same Regency RV that just filed for bankruptcy?
There isn't a spot to place suitcases for a road trip!!!
Very impractical. Almost impossible to get to the back from the front. No exterior storage. Refrigerator opposite the commode - I don't think so. I'll take the Jayco.
The lack of a kitchen is a big problem. Also, super gross to have minin fridge in the bathroom. The huge tv prevents egress/ingress and the ability to have a conversation between folks in the cockpit and in back.
@Lex-Rex

This is a limo van, not an RV.
Its not an RV without a toilet and shower but that's just me?
Great honest review! I like the bathroom in the back. Maybe an outdoor shower with curtains on rear doors? Is there a door between the bathroom and the cabin seating area? I would HATE to have to duck to get from front to back. I have a good size TV and captain chairs with massage and heat on my Midwest Automotive Designs Weekender MD4 and I don't have to duck. Kitchen? That's not a kitchen! Daycruiser? Barely.
Omg I want this as my daily driver. 😍
The tv is the worst! I’d hate to sit in the back while driving and not be able to see the road in front or to be able to have a conversation with the people in the front seats😕
It’s a nice class B+. I like the bathroom and the twin bed and the chairs and the tv but not by where go into the captains chair to drive. Other than that it’s a great class B*. Thank you Matt and Andrea and Patrick! Great job!

Nice $186,000 van with a mini fridge, toilet and TV, but let’s be clear, this is NOT an RV🙄🙄🙄
Love this van.
Love it!
The TV location is awful!!! Crawling under that is ridiculous.
Nice for short outings.
I can take dinner out the fridge while using the toilet 🤢
LIKE THE BATHROOM THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER THE SEATING DON’T LIKE NO KITCHEN NO SCREEN DOOR THE MICROWAVE PUT IN CONVERSATION MICROWAVE I WISH THEY PUT IN OUTSIDE SHOWER THAT WILL BE PERFECT
Just being honest here and just my opinion but I really enjoyed these reviews more when Matt was employed with General RV. They would go to the different General RV dealerships around the country, be at the RV shows with General, etc.. Now it seems they are just pretty much going to only like 3 dealerships (RV One, Gersenys and a local Airstream dealership?) all within like a few miles from each other just in Florida.. Can they not go to the General RV dealerships anymore?? For the people who live in like a 100 mile radius of those 3 dealerships in Florida, that's fine, but what about those of us in the rest of the country??? Where are the Winnebago and Fleetwood reviews that were so awesome?? I know they were wanting to do their own thing, but I personally wish Matt would go back to General RV..
Love the van
I don't know why but to me it's like a van limo idea. Use to set up a biz hauling folks around town, getting folks to a wedding. I don't know just feels like that to me.
Does the TV lift into the ceiling Matt?
Likes: Mercedes chassis, 18” wheels, and lithium batteries instead of a generator. Dislikes: Water connections are not behind a lockable cover, refrigerator in the bathroom, and microwave was not a convection microwave.
