you are stupid by saying for once a Nigerian man lived up to expectation,we always live up to expectation unless who choose not to which every country there are set of people that chose not to be of positive impact to the community or country,i wonder why people see Nigerians as bad people not only that they see us as bad they think nothing good ever comes out from us but it's the other way round we do good,we are nice.our conscience is on a positive level we can never move forward if we don't see ourselves as one

I think women have always been taught to fear pregnancy instead of safe behavioral practices. So we focus on hiding our indiscretions instead of openly being safe. What we don’t realize is sometimes what we don’t see can harm us more.

Shuvai M. It’s because in the past there was no HIV so what was destroying ladies lives was kids out of wedlock. That mentality has not faded yet in many people or they haven’t added this new monster of a disease to the list.

I watched a talk show of a young girl sent to college at age of 18 and got infected by a boy who was born HIV positive. He knew his status but did nót tell the girl. They were all kids, she just believed him that he was clean. That's how she got infected. But do you know that later in life she found someone who was so much in love with her and still married her knowing her status? This guy was HIV negative, and took PREP each day whenever his wife was taking her HIV pills so she does feel she is alone all by herself. They happily married with 3 kids who are all HIV negative

To those who have just tested positive, just remember HIV no longer kills, as long as you accept yourself, and take that one pill a day, you'll live a long happy life, longer even than other ignorant people am seeing here. Don't blame yourself, don't blame anyone, accept yourself, live a happy normal life. These days HIV medication is just a single pill a day, not like the time people used to take so many tabs in a single day. Remember the important thing is, accepting yourself!

I think the reason HIV is still a problem in society is because of the STIGMA behind it. Someone would rather infect you than tell you about their status because of the fear of your reaction and rejection... If people were more accepting and supportive and even understanding, those infected would be brave to let their partners know and also help their partner take prevention to not get infected.

Am impressed with this ladies outspoken nature. People often die not because of the virus rather its perception and stigmatization. Africa needs more outspoken people to educate and conscientize the public on its triviality. Educating our people is imperative. Many have fallen as victems due to lack of knowledge and aweaness. i hope this message travels far to light and safe people from darkness.
