It is important to state that the Qur’ān does not refer to sperm, or a word that is closer to the meaning of sperm, it mentions water or fluid. Nuṭfat (نُّطْفَة) is not used, which refers to a small drop of fluid. The Qur’ān uses the word mā’a (مَآء) which means fluid or water. As can be seen in the image below the seminal vesicles, prostrate and bulbourethral gland are between the backbone or loins and the ribs, and both these and the testicles are between the backbone or loins and the ribs. This is in line with our current understanding of human physiology. Dr. Muhammad ‘Ali al-Baarr (may Allah preserve him) says: The verse says that the gushing water comes from between the backbone and the ribs, and we say that this water (semen) is formed rather in the testes as the egg is formed in the ovary in the woman. So how can we reconcile the scientific fact with the Qur’anic fact? The testes and ovary are formed from the genital tubercle between the sulb and taraa’ib of the foetus. The sulb is the spinal column and the taraa’ib are the ribs. The testes and ovaries are formed in this exact region, i.e., between the backbone and the ribs, then the testes descend gradually until they reach the scrotum (outside the abdomen) at the end of the seventh month of gestation; the ovaries descend to the female’s pelvis. … However, nourishment continues to reach the testes or ovaries via the circulatory, nervous and lymphatic systems from the point where they originated, i.e., from between the backbone and ribs. The arteries that supply the testes or ovaries come from the aorta, from between the backbone and the ribs, and the veins coming from the testes end in the same region, i.e., between the backbone and the ribs. The nerves to the testes and ovaries come from a group of nerves that exist beneath the stomach, between the backbone and the ribs. The lymphatic vessels also end in the same area, i.e., between the backbone and the ribs. Simplified breakdown ⬇⬇ The Arabic word for sperm is nutufatin but the Arabic word used here is ma’in which means fluid . The seminal fluid which is in the seminal vesicles is located in the prostrate which is between backbone and ribs The Sperm which comprises 2 to 5% of the seminal fluid, , travels from the epididymis up through the Vas Deferens duct and around the bladder. Together, the seminal vesicle and the prostate gland produce 90% of the fluid in semen. This mixture travels through the prostate and is joined by mucus from the bulbourethral glands, just below the prostate. Someone might object by saying: the ribs are too high to say “the prostate is between the backbone & the ribs.” To this objection, we answer that: the head is still between the shoulders even though it is too high, & the genitals are still between the legs, even though they are too high.@@Sam_Hyde_Apologist

@@karen99999 yeah detailed translation is a word to word translation. the word isnt in the verse. but dr mustafa likes to describe a bit more by adding other words but by adding: ' . the words that have " ' " mean they aren't actually in the verse but its there to describe the verse more.

'interpretations of the Quran' and many Ahadith 'reported sayings of the prophet' from sahih Muslim and Ahmad and Ibn Hiban .....etc that prove that both Imran and Harun connected to Mary mother of Jesus are not the same ones as Imran and Harun connected to Moses. Maryam or Mary) in the Qur'an, whereas Moses was born much before Jesus. Btw 66:12, is misunderstood, in old Arabic you can refer son or daughter like in family. Then few Atheist explained to me why God didn't exist, actually it's make sense. Until that I'm stop learning about Islamic, and start learning about science instead.

To the Muslims saying it's wrong to use the Bible's narrations to disprove the Quran since the Bible is corrupted, just think what an amazing coincidence this is: 1. The Quran refers to Mary, mother of Jesus, as the "Sister of Aaron (Harun)" 2. In Biblical tradition, the sister of Aaron (Harun) was *indeed* a lady called Mary (Miriam/Mariam), *but it was a different Mary* What an amazing coincidence! Or maybe .. the Quran's author messed up here too.

i think it will be phased out when people get educated.

Islam (this bunch of camps) has no teeth, no future, and no ability to withstand scrutiny. It is a walking-dead tradition. This 1.8 billion Muslims in the world is a total hoax. Believe me on this. Ex-Muslims are becoming the norm in Persia, Turkey, and the Maghreb. Fewer and fewer care about the survival of Islam. Islamic Africa will follow, so will Afghanistan and the Gulf states. Pakistan, I admit, will be a tougher nut to crack. And in India, Muslims who don't adopt a VERY critical stance towards the religion (which ends up ultimately in the rejection thereof) will be further ostracized and disregarded by the majority.

Because all other nations already got a revelation (according to the Quran), and Allah is speaking to the Arabs, so of course he sent them a revelation in Arabic. 80% of Muslims don't know Arabic, but of course any language can be translated. Religions like Christianity have done just fine with translations as the theology does not change in different languages (unless you assume that god can only communicate in one language!).

I left Islam because they hated my dog. And I will never buy never return!!!

And it was a long game. Over 60 years before they colated the book as we know it and only because so many of the people who had memorized passages had been killed at the battle of Yamama. They all gathered together and wrote it down at that point. Years after Mohammed was dead. It beggars belief why anyone would believe it let alone with such conviction to give and take life for it.

Here is a textual variant that shows a "mistake" in the Quran: Al-Doori and Khalaf versions has "But I wonder, while they mock" Hafs version has "But you wonder, while they mock". Who is wondering, it is Allah (in Al-Duri, Khalaf) or you=Muhammad (in Hafs)? The verses in the different qirat convey a different meaning from one another. This shows a corruption in the text, a mistake.

I have dealt with Muslim apologists a lot. They'll respond along the lines of "the bible/torah has تحريف". Basically, it's not the Quran that incorrectly plagiarizes the Bible/Torah - no. It's that the Bible/Torah has been modified by human hands away from its original form which would agree with the Quran. Irrational, unfalsifiable, and all too common.

Mary might have been called a sister of Aaron by way of reproach or taunt inasmuch as another Mary, the real sister of Aaron and Moses’ stepsister or his sister-in-law, had charged him (Moses) with having unlawfully married a woman (Numbers 12:1). A reference to this accusation is also to be found in the Quran in 33:70. Thus the elders of the Jews, by calling Jesus’ mother sister of Aaron, meant that as Mary, the sister of Aaron had, by accusing Moses of unlawfully marrying a woman, committed a heinous crime, so did she, like her namesake, commit a heinous act of giving birth to an illegitimate child. Aaron is the father of all priests, much the same way as Abraham is the father of all believers. Firstly, Jewish priesthood was initially a prerogative of Aaron's descent, which makes it normal for a priest to be called a son of Aaron. Secondly, over time, people from other tribes were also allowed to be priests, which makes it normal for a priest to be called a brother of Aaron. In the Bible, we are told that Mary is the cousin of Elizabeth (Luke 1:36). Elizabeth was from the line of Aaron as she is said to be from the ‘daughters of Aaron’ (Luke 1:5). This means that Mary, too, would have belonged to the priestly line of Aaron and as such the Jews addressing her as a ‘sister of Aaron’ is perfectly normal. Twenty-three percent of parishioners also know more people in their congregation who are victims. More than 375 leaders and volunteers in the Southern Baptist church have been charged with some form of sexual misconduct over the past 12 years. Over 200 of these volunteers and leaders pled guilty or were convicted for their crimes. However, the Southern Baptist Convention will not take significant steps to stop abuse in churches, claiming that each church should act independently to tend to this matter. As a result, several pastors and leaders who are registered sex offenders or accused of sexual misconduct are permitted to maintain their position in the church. However, the Southern Baptist church has taken active steps to stop gay or female pastors from leading in the church. This indicates that the church cares more about excluded female or homosexual pastors from attaining leadership positions than addressing the matter of sexual abuse. Several victims were pressured by their church leaders not to report sexual abuse. In some cases, victims were told that they brought on the abuse because of their sinful nature. The focus of this study is two-fold. First, using data obtained via content analyses of published news articles, this study examines sexual offenses that have occurred at or through activities provided by Protestant Christian churches in the US. Drawing upon 326 identified cases spanning from 1999 until 2014, this study aims to explore common offense, offender, and victim characteristics of sex offenses that occur at these locations. Moreover, this study aims to create a typology of offenders and victims at or through activities provided by Protestant Christian churches. Second, using the data from the content analyses and social disorganization measures from Census tracts of the individual church where an offense(s) occurred, this study examines which social disorganization characteristics contribute to a greater/lesser likelihood of certain offense characteristics (i.e., alleged offender was a Pastor or other role, alleged offender was Youth Minister or other role, offenses occurred on church grounds or off, victim was male or female, and if there was only one reported victim or multiple in a case) being present. Great topic. The big difference between the Bible and the Qu'ran is that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human hands, while the Qu'ran is the direct Word of God, written by God's own hands. Therefore, if any imperfection in the Qu'ran can be shown to exist, no matter what the kind, even if the imperfection is merely in its writhing style, then the Qu'ran cannot be what it claims to be, as it clearly is NOT

@Fox Unix Not literally Allah's "hand" but that the words came directly from God at the beginning of time, and Allah then waited until the 7th century before transmitting the Qu'ran word per word to Muhammad through an anglel. That's the central story of Islam pretty much.

sayedf11 We only know that Mary and Elisabeth were related, we don’t know how, we don’t know if they were cousins. And Mary was not of the priestly tribe. She was from the tribe of Judah. The priestly tribe was the tribe of Levi

@@Natorz111 Science has given us more reason to believe in God than ever before. We are not in Nietzsche's 19th century any more. As things stand right now, the best alternative to God (in the fine tuning of the universe for life argument) is the existence of a multiverse. The first is that Harun (Aaron) was the name given to righteous people amongst them, because of a man amongst them called Harun who was very righteous. So when she brought the baby, they said to her "O sister of Harun", meaning "O one who is associated with rectitude, righteousness" because she came from a righteous family. The second is that is indeed Harun (Aaron) the brother of Moses, and Maryam was from his lineage, and thus it was said to her "O sister of Aaron" just like it is said to one who belongs to a tribe, "O brother of the tribe" such as for example one who is a Tamimi (of the Tameem tribe), "O brother of Tameem" and to the Mudarree (of the Mudarr tribe), "O brother of Mudarr." Al-Tabari mentions this view from al-Sudee (another early Qur'anic exegete). The first is the most correct view, and when we read the remainder of the verse, "Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor was your mother an unchaste woman..." we see that the people were protesting the fact that she was the sister of a very righteous man and her father and mother were not impious, so on all these three counts, how has she come with a baby, when all of her family members (father, mother, brother) are associated and known for piety and righteousness? Maryam (peace be upon her) did not speak and simply pointed to the child, and we shall take this matter up in a separate article, and this is from the miracles of Eesaa (peace be upon him) in that he spoke as an infant and defended his mother's honour and reputation. This was subjected to clarity. History is with rightful. I swear no hatred to anyone, let it be way to knowledge for us. Thank you

I have never gotten beyond the idea that there was no archangel and Muhammad made it all up, very possibly influenced by outside ideas and concepts, and honed by scribes. The reasons Muhammad would make it up could be many, including power, the desire to have his name remembered into history, and even mental illness. Any one of those reasons are far... _farrr_ more likely than there actually was an archangel. The same can be said about anyone who claims to have seen an archangel, especially if they use it to make demands.

The Aaronic blessing (Numbers 6:24-26) in use today among the Jews and Christians is named after him. How, they said, she had fallen, and disgraced the name of her forefathers? @@keezemojito1278 you all are blindly following what this so called channel owner teaches without investigating it on your own, now read this hadith and Quran verses below, In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful The Quran refers to Mary, upon her be peace, as the “sister of Aaron” in reference to her descent from the lineage of the Prophet Aaron, upon him be peace. This type of reference is common in ancient Semitic languages and in the Bible. Allah said: يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste. Surah Maryam 19:28 The Christians at the time of the Prophet objected to this verse on the grounds that it was meant literally, but the Prophet answered their question. Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse: O sister of Aaron(19:28), whereas Moses was born long before Jesus by such-and-such years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said: إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ بِأَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَهُمْ Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had gone before them. Source: Sahih Muslim 2135, Grade: Sahih Ibn Kathir reported: علي بن أبي طلحة والسدي قيل لها يٰأُخْتَ هَـٰرُونَ أي أخي موسى وكانت من نسله Alli ibn Abu Talha and As-Suddi said: It was said to her: O sister of Aaron(19:28), meaning the brother of Moses because she was from among his descendants. Ibn Kathir added: كما يقال للتميمي يا أخا تميم وللمضري يا أخا مضر This is like saying to somebody from the Tamimi tribe: O brother of at-Tamim, or to somebody from the al-Mudari tribe: O brother of Mudar. Source: Tafseer Ibn Kathir, verse 19:28 Muhammad Asad comments on the verse, saying: In ancient Semitic usage, a person’s name was often linked with that of a renowned ancestor or founder of the tribal line. Thus, for instance, a man of the tribe of Banu Tamim was sometimes addressed as “son of Tamim” or “brother of Tamim.” Since Mary belonged to the priestly caste, and hence descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, she was called a “sister of Aaron,” in the same way as her cousin Elizabeth, the wife of Zachariah, is spoken of in Luke 1:5 as one of “the daughters of Aaron.” Source: Message of the Quran Therefore, the verse is not a historical mistake, but rather it is in perfect agreement with the Semitic languages and ancient custom.
