Hi, what’s the difference between them just the spool size or entire body?

It is possible to count on a some difference in the sensitivity of free running system which suits me very well on his predecessor (19 Emcast BR LT 5000-C) ?

Are the bodies actually a different size? Usually it’s just the spool depth.

Looks like a plastic one that's not for use when casting to a spot. Pity because they're really nice reels.

Would these match up with my new 12’ Harrison chimera 2 rods for Trent barbel fishing? Cheers

Not really a good match for those rods even the bigger size too small too light and not enough cranking power, ok for the small rivers like the nidd but most of the trent not so great

Would these work for surf fishing?

As far as I am aware they are not salt water proof

It doesn't have quick drag as it has the bait runner mode. Quick drag is only meant to be used when you need to tighten up quickly on a take. As you have the bait runner this is not needed.

The bigger size is nice on a 10ft rod. I do not know if daiwa do spare handles for these you would have to check with them.
