My wife passed in March this year and this is exactly how we believed it would be. I miss her massively but my joy is that she is with the source of all love. Her redeemer took her to the Kingdom of Heaven and she met our true Father, who gave his son so she could be with him for evermore.

Thank you for these beautiful words. Seven years ago my son Matthew aged 17 died in hospital of leukemia. He loved the Lord and died in my arms. It was the most horrible day any mother could experience. I remember going out of the room just to go cry before the Lord to save him by healing or what His will is for Matthew. As I returned to the room I noticed Matthew was very uncomfortable in his bed. I decided to cradle him in my arms and hold him. As I was holding him in my arms Matthew passed away.. a minute after his passing someone was hugging me but I swear I could hear Matthew still in the room talking to what was either Jesus or an angel. I heard him ask " Is my mom going to be okay?" The angel or Jesus replied "She is going to be just fine" then he was no longer there and went home. Throughout the yrs that has been my source of comfort knowing that his home. Whenever I don't feel okay and grieve I remind God that He promised Matthew I would be just fine. I believe we are almost home as im looking forward to the rapture and looking forward to thanking my saviour for allowing me to be back in the room with Matthew before he died. Eternally grateful to an awesome God who made a way for us to be with him in heaven.

I remember the similar one when you talked about your dad leaving to meet Jesus. When on the hospital bed with tubes in his mouth my dad all of the sudden opened both eyes and recognized the Lord. My siblings were watching the machine, but I was the only one to watch my dad's recognition of the Lord. Thanks.

For those who have denied the Lord Jesus Christ, they will be in hell, and remain there until the great white throne of Judgement, when they will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity, in hopelessness.

God comes for you personally after death? I thought it was a principality angel that escorts disembodied souls or spirits in and out of Paradise/Sheol. The principality angels protect heavenly realms.

Each person receives their eternal retribution in their immortal soul at the very moment of death in a particular judgement that refers their life to Christ : Either entrance into heaven, through a purification, or immediately, or immediate and every lasting damnation. When Christ comes again (Second Coming) to judge the living and the dead, all the dead will rise. Those who have done good will be united with their souls in heaven with new glorified bodies. Those who have done evil will be united with their souls in hell.

An aged saint in our congregation. George while he was anticipating the glory kept shouting hallelujah. Physically weakening but strong in spirit. So he challenged others without apology. . how's that for sound theology? 😊

i died for nearly 5 minutes. experienced awreness in total darkness without the ability to feel good or bad just empty awareness. wasnt hell or heaven then i saw a bright light come towards me and was back here

What you experienced was not death. Couldn't be. The bible says in Hebrews 9:27 "it's appointed unto many ONCE to die, and after that the judgement". If death was what you experienced, you would not have came back.

​@@musiclady8621, I'm in agreement with you. What I DO wonder about is how the Jews believed that the soul stays in the vicinity of the body for several days after physical death. When Jesus brought back the 12 year old daughter of Jairus , she had been dead long enough for the funeral mourners to be wailing. Also when Lazarus died, he had been dead for several days, and apparently was akready to the point of stinking. Of course, We know that nothing is beyond Jesus, but I just read the night before last night, about Elijah raising the son of the Wealthy Lady who built an extra roim on her house specifically for Elijah's use. So I wonder if after the death of Jesus, whether all that changed when the Holy Ghost pulled back the sign gifts from the Apostles. Paul never again did any miracles after a certain point in Acts. No healings, no tongues, and no true prophecy where absolute certainty of prophecy occurs 100% accurately, as in the Old Testament. Apparently the sign gifts were temporarily put in abeyance until the Tribulation period, when God turns His attention back towards Israel, and their redemption. What do you think?

​@@musiclady8621, To clarify further, after reading my own comment: Before Jesus died, the Souls of believers went to Paradise, and not straight to heaven. They were in holding, so to speak. Unbelievers went to Hell which was across the Gulf Fix from Paradise, but not the eternal place of damnation. That would be Gehenna, the Lake of Fire, prepared for Satan and his Angels who rebelled with Satan. Sinners go there after the Great White Throne Judgement, but not before. Hopefully I have clarified my thoughts.... After Jesus took the Old Testament Saints to heaven wuth Him, believers now go straight to Heaven....absent from the body is present with the Lord

@@tedwarren3273 , Lazarus was before the Resurrection, so his soul couldn't have gone to Heaven. His soul would have been in Paradise, until Jesus went to take believers from Paradise to Heaven with Him. Of course, nothing is beyond Jesus, but there is an order to the events that happened, and will happen. Lazarus was to the point of stinking as far as his flesh went. He was certainly dead, but like Elijah, maybe bringing back a soul was only for pre-resurrection events, or up to but not past the sign gifts of Acts (Which are currently in cessation, until the Tribulation period).

Believers THE SAVED go to Paradise and wait there until JUDGEMENT DAY.

Paradise is no more. The Lord Jesus Christ set the captives free from there, and they are now in heaven.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 2 Timothy 4:8 KJV Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Matt 24:27, Acts 1:11 Jesus will come in like manner as He went up. Jesus did not go up in secret in a spirit form. Jesus will come in like manner. Secret rapture is of Catholicism Rev 14:8, Churches are fallen drinking from the corrupted fountain Rev 19:2, Jesus is calling His people out of Babylon Rev 18:4, doctrines of devils, confusion. Paul said at Christ appearing He will receive His crown of life and all who believe and is faithful. Rev 22:12, everyone gets there reward.....when Jesus comes visibly and audibly at last day St John 6:40, there will be no 7 years tribulation after, scheme of the Jesuits to deceive!

So, if we take the individual tour, then are we litttle individual parts of the body of Christ rather than the bride of Christ that He comes for at rapture???

I cannot go along with much of this. IF...as he asserts that Jesus comes straight to us and "raptures" each individual at that moment....then that negates the Bibles gospel which states that ALL in the grave will be raptured during the rapture event. As I read the Bible, we all SLEEP in the grave until the rapture. As for "being absent from the body is to be present from the Lord", this is TRUE. But no where does the Word say that the spirit is absent immediately after death. Furthermore, it places only part of the "Bride" of Christ in Heaven BEFORE the wedding ceremony. The "Wedding" will not....and cannot take place until the entire Church (Bride) is assembled.

On a further note, many people point to what Jesus said to the thief on the Cross as "proof" that we ascend immediately after death. However, in the original Torah...there were no punctuation marks. Knowing this is important because the simple comma makes a vast difference. Did Jesus say "Verily I say unto thee, today thou shalt be with me in paradise".....or did Jesus say "Verily I say unto thee today, thou shalt be with me in paradise"?

I say to you, if God is a jealous God, and He is perfect, does it stand that He will not lose anyone? That even the weeds who were not born of God, might experience the mercy we were given. All will go through time of trouble Those who are keep the Commandments of God having the testimony of Jesus Christ, Rev 12:17, will be persecuted by man but will receive the wrath of God which is the 7 last plagues. Those who obey the anti-christ the Papacy to keep his version of the 10 Commandments, Dan 7:25, which he thinks to change Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, will be the persecutor to kill God's people but will be destroyed by the coming of Jesus Christ.
