I'm from England and have just seen this thanks to Aljazeera TV. Australia has much to answer. Our thoughts are with you. Osme has a rare talent that must be shown to the world.

Poor country. After regained the independence, still in development but there's not enough manpower, intellectual capability. Stubborn people, empty stomachs.

Australia must be held accountable. It was a gross violation of human rights. Aussie exploited their wealth. Indonesia is always slandered by Australia.

​@@MoskusMoskiferus1611 Is not really their own choice. There was another parties who wants integrates with Indonesia. Even though the Fretilin proclaimed the independence. The other parties Apodeti, KOTA and UDT , declared 'Balibo declaration' and wanted to integrated with Indonesia.

Even to this date no one in TL able to develop/pioneering the creative economy sector in TL while TL HDI were far lower than Southeast Asia standards which also reflects the lack of innovations in TL to the point where those east timorese also unable to enchanting the population from their biggest neighbours next doors to visit them or able to make the private companies from both countries investing their money in there.

in Indonesian channel East Timorese never admits that they are in poverty, in struggles, but they are going to be the Next Dubai. In fact, that they are so prosperous they support Papua independence so it can become like Timor Leste, the Dubai of Southeast Asia lol

@@joaodossantos8556 Papua is free they can travel work all around Indonesia wihout any limitation equals with other Indonesiam citizens. Freedom is about free from poverty hunger and unemployement. Is Timor leste more free than Indonesians Papuans in terms of free from hunger poverty and unemployement? Does Timor lestian have better job opportunities and different kind of jobs like working in train factories or stock companies. Freedom is about having more opportunities in life not stuck in a small country and not many work on besides raising pigs and chicken. There is a reason why US choose to join themself from 13 countries to 50 countries. The one who is free in timor leste is your Portuguese descent elites while the natives are still poors. Many of your people are illegal migrants in Indonesia work illegally and we have to deport them everyday. Is that what you call freedom? Being a beggar nation? I think Rambo is the only one who is being honest. He now knows independence only means that certain people can get to call themselves president eventhough a president a small poor nations. If I were your leader I would be very embarrrased always come to Indonesia begging the country you call poor colonizer.
