In this Piano tutorial we play a chord progression using 2 popular cadences, Plagal & Authentic (perfect) across the entire Circle of Fifths. While doing this, we develop our knowledge of Chord inversions & Voice leading. After playing the exercise in the right hand with all 12 major chords, we then move the pattern to the left hand and focus on a Melody line built using the Tetrachord concept and climbing from the chord tones

Hello beloved Brother Jason, I'm from philippines. I always watch your videos which help me playing some of your techniques. I am only new in playing piano. I would love to request on how to play progression on Minor keys. Because there are songs that in a Minor key. I don't have a knowledge on how to play minor songs.

Yes of course Bruce! But will be a lot easier on Patreon. Is there some issue accessing the page? If you need other means, please write to music@nathanielschool.com
Dear Jason, great lesson! I like mention one thing - it's not only in this of your videos. If you show the movement of notes in the circle of 5th with your hand/fingers, your movement is contrary regarding clock- and anticlock wise for me the viewer. This is confusing the viewer. Pls watch your video on Yt - than you will find out what I mean. 🔃
