One Light To Rule Them All | Ambitful FL80 RGB
As a photographer who likes creative lighting I'm always on the look out for new lights that will do everything that I need it to. I like to be cost effective so I avoid shelling out hundreds for a single light. Typically I use LED panels in tandem with normal COB lights but one of my biggest issues is that I cant use any light modifiers with LED lights which limits the way I can cast RGB lighting. A quick fix for this is using gels but that always adds one extra step for pretty mediocre results. However, in today's video I'll be showing a light that solves all of these issues, can run on battery, is small and portable, and is less than $300. Hey! Great fan of your Videos and photos! Does the fl80 work with an optical snoot like the Godox sa17? I‘ve Heard there Are Issues with the Size of the Front element of some lights. Have you used any optical snoot with the fl80 ? Greetings from Germany
Bought a few they work well enough but found that bowens mount measurement has to be off . Bought three had several bowens soft boxes that wouldn't fit on all three then one that fit on two but got stuck on the third and had to be broken off to get it loose . So yeah that quality control a little rough lol

I just bought this but for some reason I can’t seem to get the soft box to Mount on. It should just click on by a twist right? It’s only going half way to the side and it feels lose and falls off. What am I doing wrong?

Interesting. I think I’ll pick one up. Just to be clear the image in the thumbnail is created with this light? Or is that with an optical snoot? I’m talking about the sharp edged red circle behind the model for the fish eye shot. Is this simply the fresnel plus ambitful light?

All 3 in the thumbnail are with this light, the hard red light is one of those sunset lamps but the subjects were all lit with this light
Have you noticed sokani it looks similar
Would you still recommend this light?
After many months of use do you still reccomend it? Any long term issues? Thank you!

How long would you say the battery life lasts?

Depends on the size battery you get! The one included lasts about 2 hours but can last way longer if you run it at a lower brightness
