    Well you said you would do a thorough test and you sure did well done for sticking with it. Looks like a good bit of kit for the money. Let's hope it stops raining anyt time soon I think everyone if fed up to the back teeth with it this year.😊

    Keep up the good work. I know how you feel at stupid 0-clock in the morning. I reviewed the first model, which, since uploading the latest ballistics firmware, has worked great. I haven't had the chance to test the latest Eagle version, but with the Mk2 Starvis processor, I expect that the video quality is even better. Great job.

    Appreciate the effort Vin,having spent my working life outdoors I've lost count of the times I've found myself ridiculous, and soaked to the bone 😂..the nv add ons are a bit more in my price range and suits my needs but enjoyed the review

    Thanks kindly buddy. Yup I think we all have those moments where we ponder our sanity as we sit dressed like a bush in the pouring rain 😉 but other than that I'm glad I didn't give up on the scope, I understand not everyone will need a scope like this but for those who are in the market for one they could do so much worse than this 😉👍👍👍

    Your efforts are always Vin. The first review as this one are 💯 honest. At least you mention the 15 second start up, that’s why I like my Zulus. Put in standby one press of the power button an it’s straight on an weighs less than 500g

    can’t grumble at that for the money . good bit of kit couple of leads and an sd card won’t break the bank either . i must be nuts out down the range this morning and wow had to give it some serious hold off for the wind . still good practice for the out door bench rest although some shots i was near off the paper 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Appreciate the honestly 👍. Maybe a more “tacti-cool” military style rifle with all those mounting points would be able to accommodate the accessories ahead of your hand? As opposed to mounting it all on the scope behind the focusing hand? David

    You're doing a great job Vince👍 I'm sure you helped already some viewers to make a choice to decide to buy one and certainly in the near future. I have not enough knowledge about night vision scopes but i think the most other brands will need as well time to start up, at least my scope also does. I think the ir lamp can be mounted on any picatinny rail on most tactical air rifles to get better access to the scope. The ir lamp that followed my scope has the possibility to change the angle a bit in the clamp. I use on my scope Warne Quick Detachable Mounts and i can recommend mounts like that for those who want to use a night vision scope with intern memory zero settings for use on different rifles or want to swap to a normal daytime optic. Works perfect 👌 Rated for .308win means in my opinion not so much, the "double" recoil from a springer can be devastating anyway, unfortunately you probably have no 12+ fpe springer to test the scope on. Cheers my friend and keep on doing your great work 👍

    Thanks Ron, I've seen many scopes rated for centrefire get rended useless even by the humble sub 12fpe springer. I'm glad this one held up ok. Very true the IR could be fitted to any picatinny however I was trying to show the straight out of the box type deal. As always buddy thank you kindly for the input. After playing around with this scope and PCPs I feel the urge to spend some quality time with a springer and iron sights 😉🤣

    @@vincentenglish8489 Right buddy, time for some springer action 😁👍 Still winter conditions and still lots of snow here but the sun is getting more strength and spring is on its way. Did some ice fishing yesterday and had to shoot with my HW35 with open iron sights too😁 I had some weeks ago bad results with a new tin of JSB 5.52 Jumbo pellets. The pellets from a new 5,52 tin just felt into the breech by their own weight and where not as accurate as those i used from the old batch. I ordered a tin of 5.53 to try and the problem is solved but i have to try today how the 10 tins i've left in 5.52 are doing in my HW98 😰 I always buy 10 tins with the same batch number to have a good consistency and now i've maybe no more use for them than plinking cans with them😖 Fingers crossed!

    Great review Vin and your efforts are very much appreciate pal ! Just a thought on charging the batteries I have a battery charger adapter that fits my Dewalt tools batteries, it’s obviously portable and could sit near the scope/rifle rather than needing to put the scope next to a power socket. I also think I’d use a Tablet near to the scope/rifle rather than a PC but I suppose a Tablet would work better only if you have one.

    What's the sight picture like on a springer when fired? On a completely different question, any videos or overviews on the 17HMR?

  • @vincentenglish8489

    @vincentenglish8489

    Hi Keith, the sight picture is exactly the same as before fired. I haven't done any rim fire or centrefire footage purely for 2 reasons, firstly I wanted to keep it to stuff anyone within reason can access and secondly most of my powder burner stuff would be one or two shots per trip unless night shooting rabbits.
