One if by Land, two if by sea (Part 1) Simplex tutorial and Guru catchup!

Hello everyone, It has been a while and I've missed you! After Scottish Coastal Rowing was allowed again, I was flat out with running the wiring club I was Chair of. This didn't leave much time for detecting, videos or general life! I managed to extricate myself from the running of the club, just in time to do myself an injury preparing my In-laws' new house for them. No rowing or digging says the physio- complete rest of that elbow. For months! (Ligaments strains need a long time to heal, no rushing it).
Anyway, yesterday I needed to get outside. Mentally, physically, every which way. So I grabbed Plexy, found the Go Pro, located a beach, and I was sorted. Mindfulness and peace. Thank you Scotland, Mother Nature, and Nokta Makro!
I invite you to come along with me; exploring a beach, listening to the Simplex signals, checking vdi numbers, and just getting outside again.
This video is part 1 of 2 or 3. When I got home, it was still a beautiful day and Gavin wanted to go detecting too. The next parts of this series are back in the ploughed fields, 2 different ones in fact! The next will go up in about a week, I can't spoil you with all the videos at once. Best to ease you back in, 😁, or you'll get Lori overload! 😊👩🏻‍🦰👩🏼‍🦯🤦🏼‍♀️
Happy Hunting Everyone. ❤️

Good to see you out Lori and I think that comes from all of us that have missed the simplex guru vids on our KZread feed. Great news that you are taking the legend on board for a series of informative videos as you do with the simplex. Keep well 🙏

Bless you History, I am really overwhelmed by the response to the last two uploads. I never started this channel to get likes or followers or praise or anything like that. I just wanted to help people learn the great machine that the Simplex is. It has been quite something the feedback I have had, and I am so touched at all the kindness and well wishes. With the world we have, it is easy to lose faith in the goodness of people, when actually most of us are really quite caring folks! Watch this space on the Legend- None to be had currently, but I am emailing Craig at Crawfords to see if I can get any idea of when some of them might actually hit the shelves. HH, and watch for Vid no 2, where I actually find something interesting! Lori

@@thesimplexguru1263 fantastic I recommended you to my son and his partner who both got a Simplex each recently. They live on Orkney which has a wealth of history and I am excited by what they find there.

Lovely video, I wish all the people of the world could speak as you do in their own language, clear, interesting, colorful, intriguing.

Wow, thank you, Gisnclaudio. That is a wonderful compliment. Talking to camera is difficult for some people, I don't experience that. I just talk to the lens like its all of you out there with me. It is how my favourite KZreadrs do it, (Aquachigger, Tasting history with max miller, Addicted to Bleeps, Sidestep Adventures) and I wanted to make content like theirs that was inclusive and immersive. I wish I could take you all out with me, that would be so much fun! Until then, i will keep on with the stream of consciousness narrative, I think that is what it is called, lol. :) HH

    Do you use the Anfibio?

Hi Bill, I haven't ever used an Anfibio, sorry. I got the Simplex as my first detector and this channel has been about the journey to learn detecting and to speak Simplex. I know Adam from Dtekt Sussex has an anfbio, and he has done videos on it. He is a new user to that machine, so it could be helpful if you are looking for new user tips. Hope this helps. HH, Lori
