1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

First, let me thank you for sharing your wisdom on the scriptures, I am learning more deeply through your classes. I do have a question.....Paul said "don't even sit with them" ......but if we are to exemplify Christ, He sat with the sinful..... is it because Paul is talking about Christians who do wrong and Jesus was with non-believers who did wrong, so He could teach them about God? and what if it's a new Christian coming to my church, yet I know they are still living an immoral life....should I offer them grace while they learn and grow? (I'm really trying to make sure I'm doing what God would have me to do.) Thank you again for this series.

Hello Sandy! Im sure this question has been answered for you but the intention was to say that if there are Christians who go out and WILLINGLY sin, do not associate with them. In verse 1 Paul points out a particular Christian who used his body immorally by marrying his father's wife. Paul then says that he "delivers such a one over to Satan..." So to must we guard our hearts and minds from Christian's who take scripture out of context and twist it to suit their selfish desires. But by all means when you are firm in your faith with God as a foundation, spend time and minister to your other friends and newcomers to faith! 1 Corinthians 5:10 says "I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world." Sometimes the only Bible or representation of God people have is you. May grace and peace be multiplied unto you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!

ok, I another have another question...we are to solve issues within or "circle" not in the "legal courts"....their is a man who has accepted the gospel, then (for whatever reason) he molests a child....surely we are not to keep that out of the "legal courts".....

if two people in the Church have business dealings , that is an example of a dispute, any range of civil matters could be solved by the local leaders in the assembly , but child molestation is a criminal offence- after all the thief on the cross did die !,

Believe that Jesus is alive and call on Him to save you because he died for your sins and rose from the dead in order to save you. If you believe you shall be saved when you call upon his name, he (Jesus) alone can save you. Also you can Listen J.D Farag's video on A.B.C's on how to receive Jesus unto salvation.

Dr. Smith, what you have said about the foundation of the gospel is "Truth" and not Love because the foundation of love is truth" - is philosophically sound, .. but inconsistent with scripture 1 Cor 13:13 .. John 3:16 these refute this idea that truth is the foundation of the Gospel message ... the only reason we share the truth is because we have the love
