We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzread.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

I agree with you , i have my tv in the bedroom mounted on the wall with one home pod in the centre and works beautifully. I bought the original Homepod because of your video of your face reactions for the first time to the Homepod!!! Your videos are great

The original HomePod in stereo is incredible. Yesterday I did a back to back comparison of stereo HomePod against my £3k Tanoy speakers playing the same music. To my surprise the HomePods were my preferred choice. The music just sounded more three dimensional and had more bass and presence. So I don’t think the HomePod are at all expensive - they are unbelievably good! I am now wondering if to take out the Tanoy floor speakers and gain some floor space.

Content gold. I’m amped to get the HomePod set up come on Xmas!

Have you found a way to have Apple TV4k connect to both a pair of Home Pods and a pair of Home Pod minis at the same time? It's easy to play Apple music to 'All Home Pods' with voice command but I can't get the Apple TV interface to allow two sets of Home Pods to be checked as outputs at the same time, it is one or the other pair on mine. I can select a pair of Home Pods and the TV's internal speakers at the same time but not two sets of Home Pods.

Great video, Thank you!!! Where do you see the original Homepod on sale for $200? I have 3 of them and would like to add another. I have a tough question that I believe only you can answer, “Can I pair two sets of stero HomePods in the same house/HomeKit?” I have 2 paired up in my loft over my living room in stereo and I would love to have two paired in stereo in my kitchen/family room. I would call apple care but I’m guessing that they won’t know.

You mentioned the HomePod is weird if you only have one with ATMOS unless you put it right in the middle, and if you don’t have it wall mounted then it blocks your TV. What about mounting the HomePod in the center right above your tv? There are shelves you can mount to your tv for soundbar s to be mounted above your tv. Would that screw with the sound if you had one HomePod above your tv?

Can I pair 4 hompods (2x hompod 2x mini) and listen to music or watch movies? How is the Sound then? Dolby Atmos isn't working then, I know.

I have both the Original HomePod and a pair of minis. The only thing I can say is that the minis sounds like Beats. Minis have clarity but the bass doesn’t give you the punch you get on the original. Apple should invest more in the original.

With the stereo atmos support for HomePod. Will it work for the Atmos content in Netflix ...?

Yeah works great as long as you have the Netflix Ultra tier which includes Atmos

My room is apx 150 sq feet and my tv is pointed around 15 feet straight from me and is mounted 4 feet above the ground? Is HomePod a good option, will it cover my whole room? (I am usingApple tv 4k)

Either you are used to too loud music or you have a hearing problem. I would never go to 90% volume- much too loud!

I wish we could use the mini for both speakers and mic at the same time on apps like zoom
