Because we here in ny are assholes lmao No but for real its never good to go in a tourist shop because its just a bunch of generic iheartny crap and its super over priced. There are tons of little indie and family owned shops everywhere with cooler nyc type souvenirs at more reasonable prices. BUT tourists dont know this and the gimmicky ones stick out like a sore thumb so its how we get them and its bad
