This is one of my favs. And Honey Curls. I do pillow soft in the fall/winter.

I use her Pillow Soft Curls as my "moisturizer" then the Jelly Curls over it as my "gel" for hold. The Jelly Curls definitely has more hold than the Pillow. I ADORE the smell and get compliments all the time!! You guys are so beautiful, thanks for the vid!

I'm so excited, I have been wanting you guys to review more Miss Jessie products. 🤗🤗🤗

its supposed to reference Downy fabric softener.check out the smell & color that's like Downy..it used to say that the softness is like the fabric care technology.....you used waaay more than I've ever used so that might account for the product feeling IDK btw, it's $17 at Wal-Mart

That is one thing I love about honey curls is that it doesn’t have the dryer sheet smell like every other miss Jessie’s product. I like to use the honey curls with the flaxseed eco.

I have this and Jelly Soft Curls in my collection, love them!! I have to try their deep conditioner.

this is my ol faithful one n done..definition is AMAZING everytime i used it like no other! i prefer a soft hold with NO crunch and i rewet daily so I'm good...LOVE the Downy smell..if i need to slick with gel i use jelly soft curls

Yes I did use Miss Jessie’s hair products back in 2007. I stopped using them because of their ingredients. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I love your results. Peace and blessings.

I have tried this product and yes it does smell like fabric softener it was so strong that I never used it again..but it did give good curl definition

This product simply works best for an easy breezy wash n go. If you want voluminous, lightweight hair with no fuss in my opinion this product is ideal. The hold is soft so dont expect a long lasting wash n go that lasts days upon days. It will give you expanded or "voluminous" hair. Great video Ladies, thanks for the review.

Hello ladies. Wonderful results. I will have to pass on this product, glycerin being the third ingredients. Hair will not last here in Texas humidity. As usual great video; and will see you on your next video.

I haven't used it yet so Im curious to see how it turns out on your hairs. I figured if i dont like it my son can try it since he's a curly guy😌....

So beautiful! Love the results! I have a sample packet of this; now I can’t wait to try it! (Although with my dry hi-po hair, I’ll have to do a Two-and-Through with a moisturizing base first 🤣🤣🤣🤣). Really beautiful 😘😘😘

I tried one of the products in this line years ago and it did nothing to hold my hair. I couldn't give it away fast enough! I'd have to wash and style daily with that kinda non-hold hold and ain't nobody got time fa that 😆😆 And yesss I remember a school trip to Madison Square Garden every year to see Ring-a-ling Bros and getting to buy our lights to swing in the air. The kids nowadays are missing out! They have different ones for them now Always a fun video ladies, always a laugh to be had. Love & hugs to you and the MAD Curls Fam 🤗

The jelly soft curls does amazing for my Type 3b curls along with a leave in !

It smells just like Downy and it lingers. I use to LOVE that product. And my husband and coworkers were always telling me I smell like clean laundry 🧺

I do have this product. I do think it feels produc-ty. My hair gravitates to a product and don't let go ... it does the most honey and I be like OMG, loosen up some, the curls are just so tight, lol!!! But I enjoy the clean smell - lots of comments. Beautiful results, Ladies!!! Would love to see what the Meringa [sp] results would look like or the Multiracial (interesteded in that one) or whichever one would do clumping soft curls. Sorry for the long comment, Oh Boy!

can you guys please do a one and done on shea moisture's curl and style milk?

Funny, I used to use this and quick curls. I just found an unused bottle of this.

My hair is tighter and I just worry that my hair won't last over 24 hrs and a 24hr wash and go is a fail but I will try it.

The test of a 'light' or 'soft' hold for me is whether a ringlet finds its way back together once it's broken apart or if it just forms frizz and stays broken apart. I'd consider the former light/soft hold and the latter no hold. Or ring-a-ling vs cotton candy curlies! 😂😂😂 xoxoxo!

I used to loveeee this product. I love the smell of it, it left my hair feeling literally feather soft, even though it’s a soft hold it would still define my hair to the gods and last a couple of days. But over time I couldn’t make it to day 2, then not even through the whole of day 1, until eventually not even a few hours. The 4th ingredient is a silicone and this was what causing problems.

GIRL! My hair is a hot mess from that diy deep conditioner fiasco. I have to start completely over & just wash my hair again & style it. I’m upset *Drake voice*. Whitney aka naptural85 did me so dirty. I’m sticking to store bought dc from now on, I don’t trust those diy ones. But both of your results were cute and I do agree that it doesn’t seem like it will last that long. It just seems way too lightweight especially for my more coarse, thicker hair. Still loved the video ❤️

I mix the Pillow Soft with the Jelly Soft Curls, it works better for me.

I just saw this at Walmart today!

On the Miss Jessie's website the description of the Pillow Soft Curls says it borrow fabric care technology and brings it to haircare. That being said it smell exactly downy fabric softener.

Egypt B yeah I heard about those but I choose to just not use them at all. I don’t want anything “coating” my hair because it’s artificial and does nothing for the health of my hair.

I’ve heard that it smells like fabric softener but idk about in the ingredients 😂

I've always wanted to try miss Jessie but they are so pricey and I'm not sure if it is suited for my type 4 hair I've always looked at them for some reason for type 2 and 3 hair depending upon the product😑

If you do want to try one, I'd recommend the leave in condish. Just don't use much

Use products that say airy or light. Sounds like you are using heavy products. Also be sure to clarify the hair to get rid of product residue that weighs down the hair.

This was a favorite, but re-tried recently, and I do not like the shrinkage. I thought I loved the smell compared to my Kinky Curly, but as the day goes on, it may be a bit too much. ;)

It came out so pretty but I have to pass. I tried this a long time ago and I couldn’t get pass day two. Maybe it was the glycerin 🤷🏽‍♀️

They definitely have some stronger products for coilier hair. It a range of prices and products. I'd look on their site.

Rat tooth 😂. I just tried this product for the first time, though I paired it with Jelly Soft Curls. My hair was kinda dry and stringy, so maybe it was the amount I applied or the combo. I found a $2 sample size of each (at Walmart), which was great because the price tags were too much for me.

Kinky Curly also OG.

I literally just brought this product from Target and mines costed me less than $16. I don’t remember, but it wasn’t more than $16. Luckily, my Target didn’t have everything so it saved me money. My Walmart is better than Target. 😴

i cant use miss jessie's just because the smell is so strong, definitely smells like dryer sheets! gives me a headache!

Not all their products have a strong smell, this one really does but the multicultural curls has little to no scent

The old lady perfume smell might be the owner paying homeage to her grandmother who use to make her own hair products.
