It’s crazy how certain songs take you back to when you remember when they first came out. Wether that may be joy, sad, heartbreak or even just constant negative experiences. The song is super pretty and sentimental however I remember when the song came out I living with my toxic mother and no matter how bad things got one direction songs like this always made me feel special 🙂 even if it’s not directed towards me it always gave me a sense of security 🖤

So true! I remember when this song came out! It’s a sad song for me because I’ve had a lot happen in my life. I’ve had so many health issues! I have vertigo and other problems. idk but the way that harry says "night" just hits different and even though harry is my favorite, I do love them all and I am not a toxic harrie the way louis says his whole solo and the way his voice cracks, I literally copy unconsciously every time I sing this like "gone" "tight" his little voice cracks the way niall's voice is so calming in his solo and like quiet almost like idk how to explain it but its just *chefs kiss* the way harry says night like I said earlier and his last line is just so awesome like the way he says "story of myyy life" zayn's solo gives me life because of the way he says clouds and liam harmonizing in the chorus really is extremely impressive

I can't be the only one who wasn't the biggest fan of 1D back then but is now getting nostalgia from their songs cause you at least heard 1 on the radio even though you never listened to them apart from when you heard them on the radio

It wasn't the same without Zayn. He had one of the best voices

When she made this I was 7... 7!!! My life was so different omg. I went to a different school, had different friends, lived in a different house, I lived in a different country, a different continent, I hadn't adopted my dog yet, I still had my cat. OMG. WOW. Life can change so much in 7 years. This was like a wave of crazy emotions that just came back. I know no one will see this comment so that's why I'm posting it. Anyways, I love this song sm and I hope you guys all appreciate the small moments. Don't focus on the future too much, enjoy what you have now.
