1D totally earned these awards. Their albums got better and better each year. The fourth and fifth ones were fantastic. Had some of my favorite songs ever on them. I have to say, 1D was totally gipped out of not ever getting a Grammy award. By the fifth year they should have had at least one. No kidding, some of there songs were Grammy worthy. Especially on the later albums. They totally got robbed with that.

Ummm, I didn't think any of the people you just mentioned were in the same category as 1D, and I didn't think it was a competition in any sense besides the award. There is room for all of them. Plus, Bieber is a solo artist, and 5SOS are more a punk/pop band than a boy band. They've always been in a different category than 1D. The only band that might be in their category is the Jonas Brothers, and they are different as well because they play instruments. And 5SOS is a fantastic band that deserves just as much recognition as 1D. They are in a different genre than 1D so it's not really a competition between them. 5SOS would be more with Thirty Seconds to Mars and Highly Suspect and Shinedown, bands like that. Not with 1D.

Bieber is a solo artist and 5SOS are more a punk/pop band in which all of them play instruments. Akin more to bands like Good Charlotte, Green Day, Shinedown, etc. not to 1D.

@@user-jc9fb8qp5l i respect their decisions, flying solo and make their own music is beautiful and im proud of every single one of them but i just feel like they regret 1d but if they didn't debut as 1d i don't think they would have so many fans, maybe they'll become famous too but not this much so i just wish they gave us one last tour or album or even song together not muchso they wouldn't leave us hanging and waiting. they aren't active on social and hardly hear of them and maybe for their 10 years anniversary they'll do smt but if not it's gonna be disappointing. im happy for them i really am but i grew apart form the boys and fandom and discovered new things bcs their distance and all didn't make me feel the same things anymore, ill alaways be grateful to have discovered them but it's been a few years since i distanced myself, i still listen to their songs but i dont update myself anymore. it's sad and it breaks my heart. always a directioner at heart tho
