They couldn't give less of a shit about "Lv100" VGC always sets to a Lv50 at a maximum, so they they just cap it at 50

I didn't even see this announced anywhere. The next one was supposed to be on June 7th. Even the big Pokemon SV discord I'm on and another Pokemon vg discord I'm in that have both announced every mystery gift to date never even mentioned this one. I'm actually incredibly upset about this one because I haven't missed a single one until this, even though I actively keep tabs on this. I shouldn't have to keep tabs on every Pokemon VG news source on the planet that updates on mystery gifts just in case one source misses it, or in this case two sources missing it. That's tedious and impossible.

They probably will at one point. The Shiny legendaries will probably come out soon, maybe even before their next game. Besides, you can’t really expect them to consistently give you good mystery gift events. They’re not gonna hand out special pokemon for no reason, they’re called an event pokemon for a reason.

@@mudkipfan_258 sword and shield had loads of cool events ever since the dlc there basically has been nothing even the raids are dumb why not do legendary raids ppl already have them from other games why not do a raid and events are special I’ll give you that but you know what would be special is events from each game where you got certain Pokémon this generation it’s been super thin I feel like most of us only log on once a month to do the raid they come out with and here recently they have been skipping weeks on 7 Star raids and since there isn’t a new game coming this year you would think they would do something to keep people interested in this one

My guess is these gifts are promotional pieces to jumpstart interest in the 'new' Pokemon anime series. Unfortunately they generate no intrigue for me. Ball doesn't pass down through breeding, Pokemon itself isn't Shiny and is a common enough acquisition. It feels more like a sell rather than a gift. But hey, it isn't Tera Shards this time.

No. For the purposes of breeding, cherish balls will be inherited as normal pokeballs. Same with master and strange balls.
