Real Ireland- an ancient castle ruin just laying there with cattle grazing nonchalant in a field next door. Great video start to finish and grand finale with the beer and bangers and mash. Brilliant.
Ireland is an amazing place. Definitely would visit there.

Definitely. Had an interest in Ireland when I was younger, sorta lost it over the years, but now these videos have re-ignited that interest to more than it ever was.
Thank you for sharing Ireland with us. I can’t wait to go back. It gets under your skin and has a magical feeling about it. Also the people are so kind.
Great to see you visiting my home town Gabriel , probably just missed you as I walk in Trim every morning . Keep em coming! Thanks for all
Ireland looks amazing!
The tower across from trim Castle that you visited is called the yellow tower. It was a bell tower. The video does not capture the incredible height of it. I love these videos, I live in Dublin but spend all of my free time exploring these places.
Hi there Gabriel! Hope you're fine! I was looking forward to a new video from magical Ireland. Thanks a bunch! Greetings from Argentina!
I’ve been here!!! Loved it! We went up in it in 2017 and it was spectacular

Beautiful places. I really enjoyed the music also.
Ayeee, finally a place I can say I've visited :D Also, I had no idea Trim was where Braveheart was filmed when I went there lol 😅
Thank you Gabriel 😊❤
You've started using movie like dramatic soundtracks in the vlogs recently...excellent...mysterious & deep music..Thanks Gabriel
I can't travel for now and your vids keep me going, thanks Gabe!!
Gabriel, This tour was really neat. The thought of the number of years the ruins have remained is a testament to the strength of those walls. The people and those structures went through a lot . Thank you for sharing . You never disappoint !
Watching the video again just to enjoy the melancholy and nostalgia of the music. Excellent choice as always!!!
Love the castle. so beautiful 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Quite an impressive structure of these castles, definitely it's worth to know the history.
Bro, I absolutely love the way you present tourist destinations from the ground while you walk, narrate the experience there and share your knowledge of the destinations. Its clear you do a lot of research before you travel and it makes us feel like we're there on the ground with you! Thank you!!
You really have an eye for detail. Your personality really comes across in your shots. You have a distinct style, I can always tell a shot has been taken by you....thanks for sharing!!

Cool, glad to hear it.
I was in that castle about two months ago its is nice...New Grange is very cool and worth a look
Great video G, cool to imagine what those buildings were like in their hayday.
Your Ireland videos are becoming close to my favorites, first place still goes to your Himalayan treks though, and those socks and sandals 😊, your trademark! 🌸
Great video of historical Ireland with its castles and petroglyphs. Irish cuisine is usually quite delicious and the bangers and mash looked yummy 😌☘️👒🍁🦋🍂✨
The castle is noted for the part it played in the filming of the Mel Gibson-directed film Braveheart. The castle was presented as the walled city of York; scenes that took place in London were also filmed here.
Fabulous Country.. I wish i can go there too someday.. I like the Castle so much. 👸🤴
I mostly have traveled to NI part of the island, but I like Dublin as well. Melting pot of different people from around Europe and beyond.
Great that you had the castle and the abbey to yourself. My cousins in Southwest Scotland grew up with a (triangular) castle (with a moat around it) down the road, that I've been to twice, I love it so much, and the ruins of an abbey behind the house they grew up in, in a fantastic setting. So I share your fascination. I can never get enough of the stuff. And the brightly colored and imaginatively named Irish stores and restaurants put our standard issue American towns to shame. You had great things to film while in Ireland on your spur-of-the-moment trip, probably one of your most unexpectedly good explorations?

So much history with the castles and so much we still don't know...great video Gabe! as usual! Planning a trip to Ireland in March 2022. Cheers.

Matt Damon has been there to make a film. The film crew was there for a couple of weeks. Bective Abbey and Trim castle are in an area called the Boyne valley. You missed some of the top attractions including Newgrange passage tomb, the hill of Tara, and the hill of slane. All very close to bective. Anyway, it's hard to fit everything in. Great video. 👍😊

The entire film was shot in Ireland. They even used the Irish army for those huge battle scenes . The lovely thing , it was a great film and no one got hurt !!

Awesome, have fun with it. It's a good camera for the size and the price. Only real problem is it doesn't do very well in low lighting.
Building these castles was the easy part compared to cutting and hauling these stones from the cliffs.🥵
Does the sun ever shine in Ireland?
loads of castles in Wales too!
international travel to ireland hasn't fully started back up so castles which are more of an interest to international visitors will be quiet for a while until internationalism tourism gets back to normal

If you come back again, try and visit Birr in County Offaly. Excellent castle there too, and fantastic botanical gardens. Also, the largest telescope in the world was built there in the early 1800's, and wasn't exceeded in size for over 70 yeats.

That record was actually held twice by two different telescopes both owned by Lord Rosse.
New Grange in the boyne valley
The great movie😊
It's too late now, but since you were the only one there I wonder if some polite "I came here all the way from America to see this castle" type persuasion of the staff (if there were any there?) would have led to them letting you in that tower? Might have been worth a try.

I hate hotels with carpet floors, it leaves bad spilling accidents to see, and sometimes have nasty smells.
Cromwell's mob were ordered by him to smash every stained glass window in every church they destroyed. Churches that knew they were coming carefully removed their windows and hid them in preparation. Some weren't so lucky..
places i'd love to see you go to next Gabe: the norwegian fjords, the peruvian amazon, the congo, the middle east (saudi arabia) south africa and also morocco and laos again.....oh and I'd love to see the city Yeonmi Park fled to from north korea, to get a better picture. if you haven't heard her story listen to her recent joe rogan podcast, i haven't stop thinking about north korea ever since i heard her story!

@@MrSupernova111 Well. he said in my of Ireland videos or maybe in his letter describing his Morocco cancellation, that he was going to a tropical place or some other reference hinting the Caribbean (I can't remember his words, but there was something there that gave me the impression that Central America wasn't next) was next. I figured it could be PR since there it probably had more historical sites than some of the smaller islands. After reading the reply from Tihomir, I guess I was wrong!!!

Hi Gabriel, You can see why they choose this location to film the movie those Abbys are really in good condition considering their age of them. The town is very small it was probably easy to recreate the time period that lead to the death of William Wallace.
