Hey, it's my hometown! I grew up here, but left when I was 15 to move back to San Francisco. I never see any travel related content about Nevada City ever. It's so interesting to see that a lot of the stores that were around 20-25 years ago are still there! We used to eat at Fred's Chinese Restaurant all the time and knew the owner well. Oh so many childhood memories...😀

It is unique to you our friend!!! Who was that Shaman guy in Mexico that wrote books about dreams and connection points? That kind of adventure tripping. Find the spiritual again everywhere. Hi Gabriel, California is so different from most states and different on another level when it comes to natural products and holistic healing. It's a beautiful place, very spiritual. Even in San Francisco you'll find health markets with organic meat and milk just an incredible scene if it wasn't for California we wouldn't be aware of the natural health craze with food and exercise. We've seen the ravages of drugs and alcohol in our society and this alternative method of living is quite intriguing and offers hope for those who seek it.

Great nuanced discussion of what side of the street to walk on. I’m sure all the people who said you should face the traffic are British. They have it drummed in to them as part of their Highway Code, and nuance is not a UK strength (speaking as a Brit).

I've walked down a lot of roads in both directions and I've never been in a situation in which I had to suddenly jump out of the way to avoid a car that came too close. Whichever way you're walking, when you see or hear a car coming just make sure you're safely out of the way of traffic. I agree that walking towards oncoming traffic might be a good idea, but as I explained there are other factors. Walk on whichever side of the road seems like it's safer at the time, then cross the road if it seems safer over there. It would be kinda dumb to always walk on one side of the road no matter what out of principle.

@@jacksoncornbreadmcbride6763 Good thing is we live in a big country. I grew up in Tennessee. I've been to Arkansas many times. I'll be happy in Northern California and leave Arkansas to you. Plenty of poor Arkansas residents would be happier if I kept to my own area.

I have family members who have lived there for over 25 years. There is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Are aware that Ananda lost a lawsuit due to sexual harassment against the founder Swami Kriyananda? It's a bit cult like place that pulls in innocent people. Every one of our family members who live/lived there are kinda messed up psychologically. Maybe from being there too long? But they do have a lovely lunch one can have at The Expanding Light.

Scraping the bottom of the content barrel again... yikes. You can't just jam around USA recording and talking. It's too boring. Gotta do themed stuff for USA. Try covering the German POW camps in northern Cal NEAR YOUR HOME. You'll need to try harder for US content for views.
