One Day In ARMENIA, QUINDIO

SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL...More Trips and Restaurants are coming.
I was in Bogota and I was told the gastronomy in Armenia was growing and that I had to check it out. So we made a call and got invited. Mauricio and I jumped on a plane and in less than an hour arrived in this beautiful city which is the capital of el Quindio. This region is known to have some of the best coffee around the world which we will cover in “One Day in the World of Coffee ”. The food scene in Armenia is growing very rapidly due to the ridiculous quality of the product that is found locally. Armenia is a big agricultural town which means almost every restaurant I went to was as farm to table as can possibly be. Some dishes were very simple and other complex but the quality and freshness of the ingredients were like no other. And then to add the cherry on top, the hospitality of the natives called “Cuyabros” which felt like I had known them for years.
I was also impressed with the full experience of these restaurants and bars. Usually in small towns we see very mom and pop businesses. I found out with these restauranteurs that typically the affluent send their children to study abroad which they typically don’t return due to opportunities in the big cities. And the trend now is for these young entrepreneurs to come back to their home towns and exploit the local ingredients and local gastronomy making these small towns a destination not only for their beautiful sites but also for their gastronomy.
My mouth is literally salivating just thinking of this day! So let’s enjoy this culinary experience as we eat and taste together in Armenia’s top restaurants for the day.
Thanks to these amazing restaurats:

I really was impressed by the quality of the restaurants and service in this video. The food looks very appetizing! Your friend Juanita is gorgeous!!! Armenia has alot to offer it appears, the views of the distant mountains looked very scenic. I only wish that you would have listed the prices of the food and drinks in your video so you could give your viewers a idea of the cost of living in Armenia, Colombia. In dollars of course! 😊👍👍

Great video! My favorite restaurant in Armenia is La Fogata. There are plenty of good options and a great variety when it comes to restaurants in El Quindio
