One Day Guide To Port of Spain Trinidad | Capital City of Trinidad and Tobago | Trinidad Cruise

One of the stops of our Caribbean Cruise was the capital city of Port of Spain, Trinidad. We didn't buy any tours but had a DIY one day itinerary in Port of Spain Trinidad. It was a sunny and very hot day but walking around the streets of Port of Spain was enjoyable.

Hi, We are Tugce and Gokay,Turkish couple travel bloggers who travel the world and live in different destinations. We are part digital nomads, part phd students and part beach bums. We are documenting our memories along the way. Met in August 2009 in turkey, and have started traveling together in 2010. So far, we have lived in Spain, Greece, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico and we carry our backgammon to everywhere with us. As long as there is coffee, good weather, wifi and backgammon, we are fine. Our dream is to travel, enjoy sunshine and tropic islands and learn about new cultures while we can work wherever we love together.

Hello good video. Just a couple things. Firstly the NAPA Building reopened years now and is the venue for many shows and events. Secondly the stores in Port of Spain usually close early on Saturdays but the day you visited was a public holiday hence there were even more closures. Thanks for sharing the experience. Have a safe flight back to Amsterdam.

Trinidad is more the industrial part, and Tobago is the tourism part they are both beautiful islands but to see Trinidad tourists' sites. You would need to rent a vehicle it has places like. The Zoo, Maracus Beach, where you can experience the famous bake and shark, The Bird Sanctuary, Pitch Lake, a lot of water parks, the Mud Volcano, and so many more site seeing sites. Yes the crime situation in Trinidad can put a sour taste in your mouth, just like around the world and sadly the public choose to advertise it more but we are a welcoming, loving, and fun set of people that know how to lime and have a good time. Hope your stay was enjoyable, and I hope you will come again for a longer time and experience our site seeing sites 😊

@@realAndresilver One question though, when was the last time you heard a tourist get robbed or shot in Trinidad? If anything tourist are statistically quick to get robbed faster in those so call hot tourist destinations in the Caribbean than Trinidad. It's so safer for tourists that KZreadrs are starting to a habit to visit Trinidad crime Hotspots and film the so called gangsters and crimelords yet I have never heard any of them being shot. In my 36 years in this country I have never been robbed or hold at gunpoint and if I wasn't a sergeant in cadets and my elder wasn't a officer in the coast guard I probably would of never seen a gun in Trinidad. I spent 6 years doing two degrees in costaatt which main campus was in the heart of POS at the time I was in POS literally everyday and never encountered any criminal element. Don't get me wrong, the crime levels in Trinidad have become disgustingly high but it's now as bad as you people make it out to be. And the fact that some people like you make it your life mission to bad talk and misrepresent your own country surprises me and quite frankly disgust me that you people are my fellow countrymen.

Yes we've been warned about it but we didn't feel threatened anyhow. On the contrary, people were quite welcoming especially around the church.

You accidentally took part? 🫓🍷😂 I enjoyed your video and commentary. That’s a lot of walking on such a hot and humid day. I assumed that you were here on a Saturday based on what the majority of pedestrians were wearing.
