One Bull, One Girl, One Goal

One of our favorite events at the NWSS, the Denver PBR brings the action to the grounds and warmth our hearts. The story of the two best friends, an eleven-year-old girl and a 1600-pound bull. Hard Labor is a bucking bull that performed during Monday night’s PBR, and Addi Drury is his owner.
Hard Labor got his name because his mom had a very hard time delivering him, and she wouldn’t feed him - and so the little bull calf became a bottle calf. At that time, eight-year-old Addi took over as his caretaker. Feeding, playing, and building a special bond, Addi and Hard Labor are now inseparable and have a unique bond that is not often seen in cattle, and especially not in those that were born to buck.
Oklahoma cowgirl Addi Drury, sat proudly in the stands to watch him buck while her dad set, also known as flanked, Hard Labor for his Denver PBR debut. PBR cowboy, Nick Lica was the lucky cowboy to pull Hard Labor’s card, but Hard Labor remains unridden for the 8 seconds.
