A perfect tribute to the first season.

I'm so glad this show ended when the story ran out! 3 seasons is the perfect length. Can you imagine the heartbreak if such an amazing show had been dragged on for seasons that got worse and worse until they were unwatchable?

I can’t believe I remember watching this when I was barely a teenager, and sobbing, and just replaying it over and over again. It still stirs feelings, perhaps more because of the whole memories and feelings that it unravels, rather than OUAT’s story telling. But I must agree that the first two seasons (and mostly the first one) were beautiful to watch, and especially at such a young age, when you are affected by and learn from so many things in your environment

Rewatching OUAT and this video always comes to mind. It’s just so beautiful and perfect. ❤

This reminded me how good OUAT was in the first season. The storytelling format has changed now but Season One was magic and this video showed every reason why.

@@timefliesaway999 It was a perfect premise actually if they had kept the characters from remembering for a little longer. Then maybe a final season where they know each other again but just got really silly and tedious after the first season.

This is beautiful and is perfect for this show. I love how you juxtaposed their Storybrooke counterpart with their EF selves and it was just amazing! I do not even have the right words for this!

This is still my favourite OUAT video out there. It's just perfect. I always come back to watch it.

THE BEST TRIBUTE FOR ONCE UPON A TIME.

I'm just going through some of my old 'favourites' and I still love this, I just wish the writers could see as much depth in the characters and their inner conflicts as a result of the curse(s). If the show was like it seems in the video it'd be wonderful.

This is such a great song for this show (bitter as you are now about it all) and I see why you loved this show to start with. The parts especially where you show their real versions compared to their 'fairytale' versions with the repeated 'once I was real' lyrics is so powerful and amazing and I just love how you show the connection that Emma has to it all through the entire video. If I didn't already know this show turns into a mess, this would have motivated me to start this show

Oh. My. God. That was amazing. I'm crying now. I wanted to see this video for quite some time now, I think since the moment I fell in love with this song, but never got the time. Now I decided to finally watch it and I'm in deep awe. I simply love it. I dislike this show right now, but you've showed perfectly why we fell in love with it in the first place. The stories that were so beautifully told and tore our hearts apart, the supporting characters that used to play such important parts in the plot, the relationships that were so deep and moving. Thank you for reminding me what a great show OUaT once was. Once it was real. It's a shame it won't be real once again.

I agree that after season 1 it changed but from the second half of season 3 onwards the show started improving a lot. Season 4 especially is great. All 4 seasons have expanded the ouat universe a lot and brought something fresh and exciting to the table. Character development is still good and the core of the story is just as precious as it was in season 1. P.S I actually enjoyed all seasons so if you've stopped watching trust me you'll like them too, even if it feels different to the first.

Life has been rather empty without my Sunday night OUAT to look forward to. Even when it was at its worst I didn’t care. The core characters always stayed riveting to me, especially Regina. God there will never be another villain redemption arc like that again.

I got chills watching this video! You really captured the emotions and magic so perfectly that displayed how wonderful OUAT used to be. Absolutely gorgeous.

I LITERALLY died!!!!!!!! I love that you also put Regina in this and showed us her humanity and what happened to her. Ugh! This was just beautiful! And the transition from Sidney to the genie!

I just want to say that this is my favorite OUaT fanvid ever and I probably listened to it about 100 times without exaggeration since I discovered it

Cannot even believe season 4 is heading already. Who would have imagined it then. I think the first season characters are much deeper, since the show was deeper then aswell. Still watching this video two years after it was published and still love it. Still think it is the best OUAT video.
