I grew up watching this show as a kid,and it was the best show ever. I remember waking up every Sunday. I now realized why my parents ensured I didn't miss one episode. They were so educational and fun to watch, and in regards to the negative comments, just remember this is for kids to watch so they can have a general idea on how the immune system works, this is not to pass an exam.

That was very nice to watch!!! Never saw this before and this is why i love older shows. They are very educational. They are also very chill to watch. Though sadly, unlike the above comment, this would not have helped me passed my anatomy exam because she wants us to know all the terms and everything detailed about this. I had anatomy last semester and the teacher was an MD. Very hard to pass the class. Lots of people failed. I understood the concept very well, but that wasn't enough to get an A

I cracked up when they quoted Hamlet. "A very palpable hit. Dead for a ducat, dead." Of course those two quotes aren't back to back in Hamlet, but it's still awesome.

No this show was on Channel 4. As for your other question (which I can't ignore), I remember seeing this on said channel in the early to mid 90s (when Channel 4 was using the coloured blocks ident up to 1996). As for the show's country of origin, it's originally a French animated show but dubbed for the UK (I'll admit, just as *well* this wasn't on the BBC, as, looking back, I was never a *fan* of that channel; I preferred ITV and Channel 4).

It's funny, but I think that the boy would just be given antibiotic pills if he had a tetanus infection and found out in such a short amount of time. Of course, this is to show effects in a shortened time frame so I guess they can't be true to fact here.

In fact tetanus is NOT from garden soil, but from alien place, not used by humans, but sick animals. I never caught it, even if as a kid i dig A LOT and get's hurt nearly ANY time. I wasn't vaccinated... Like rabies, tetanus is the most popular in India and Africa... P.S. Only deep wounds are enough to start outbreak. Not shale ones in the cartoon.
