Once Upon a Time... Life - The blood
Ғылым және технология
Today we go on a long journey through the blood-circle. The task of the blood corpuscles is to transport oxygen to the cells and take the waste, carbon dioxide, to the lungs. We get to know our friends Hemo, who dreams of pure oxygen, the slim Globine, who helps him, and the wise Master Globus, who gives them advice and tells them to be aware of intruders and strangers to the human body.

I like how brave and noble the White Blood Cells are as they're willing to sacrifice themselves to protect the Human body and its cells from those who'd harm and kill them.
When I was a child, I used to watch this educative program. That was hilarous watch it weekend😃 Greetings from Mexico City🇲🇽

Wait what??
Anyone watching this while also thinking about Cells At Work? I can’t tell which is more accurate. Or if they are equally accurate and just take different artistic liberties depicting the inner workings of the body.

I know about it lol but this was made before (1986 haha)

Cells at work is more accurate. But that is because there is a almost 40 year difference between the two shows and in that time we have learnt so much more about how our bodies work. Although there are still quite many unknowns. Both take artistic liberties as well.

@@stalwartlenny9883 Cells at Work is more accurate but the scope of explanation is usually narrower. It focuses on certain points where Once Upon a Time explains systems in a broader range.
Cells at Work predecessor.
Not sure how to feel about the grandpa red blood cell and his “lumps”
Still remember pestering my parents to buy the books. Didn't get the model that comes with the book but still enjoy reading it many times
That animation reminds me of Ducktales or Chip and Dale rescue rangers
well isn't his a cute kid friendly cartoon... well if you don't count a few overlooked indoendoes that is.
I remember watching this as a kid, but not in English.

You don't know what you are talking about. This show is more educational than Cells at Work. In France a lot of kids wanted to become doctors thanks to this show. Cells at Work is more an entertaining show, this one is more science and education oriented.
