    Henry is well-intentioned but his denouncement of magic is way off. Magic is just another instrument like a knife, a hammer, or a pen. It's not necessarily "dangerous" and it's neither "good" nor "evil." It all comes down to the choices you make and how you decide to use it.

    Well he is 11 and all the magic he has read about and seen has been used for evil. I wish the writers made a mini arc on henrys growth and realization of this, but by the end of season 4 he pretty much does.

    Yeah I always liked that line "Magic always comes with a price" when what they really mean is "Your actions have consequences." And in reality I wish some of us we were born with powers, I'm also glad we weren't because the world is already a dangerous place, how much more people throwing Fireballs back and forth. But then again it would be cool to vanish in a cloud of smoke.

    1.Emma didn't abandon Henry, she was in prison when she gave birth without relatives or friends or the father to grant custody during the rest of her incarceration. Placing him up for adoption was probably the only choice she had at the time. 2.Regina has lied, held all of Storybrook hostage, threatened, assaulted, killed or attempted to kill many people for herself not Henry, and that does not include poisoning Henry whilst trying to kill Emma. Clearly Regina isn't mother-of-the-year either.

I know shes the Evil queen, but she loveds him and i dont think she would hurt him. But i still think that the writing in the serie is bad about the relationship beetween Regina-Henry-Emma. Emma is one of the important hero in the serie but i easily get erritated at her. I love seing Regina angry its always good. Im on team Regina if that's a thing.

    I just don't understand how Emma became Henry's mother so fast. I mean she is his biological mother but Regina raised him. If I found out that my mom wasn't really my mother, the one who gave birth to me. Of course I would want to meet my bio mother but she didn't raise me so she would probably never be the one I call mom or who I went to if everything goes wrong and I personally feel like it's Mina messed up that Emma is suddenly Henry's mom when she gave him up.

  • @Uh.196

    @Uh.196

    I think its because Emma didn't want to give him up and Henry knows that, and the first years of his life was great, but he grew up knowing he was adopted, like Emma. He had an amazing mother but he still grew up feeling a little unwanted. Then when he found out about the curse, he learned the one person who truly loved him, tried to kill his grandparents and bio mom when Emma was a baby, then Regina made him feel crazy by putting him in therapy and all that crap. I don't really like Regina especially after all the horrible things she's done like destroying villages and ruining everyone in the kingdoms happiness for 28 years, but i still feel bad for her as a mother. She raised Henry and such.

    I get that Regina IS the one who raised him, but he definitely has more in common with Emma, they ARE related. Plus, Regina is the one who makes the worst decision, so of course he turns more to Emma for comfort. Emma gave up Henry to give him (And say it with me now), HIS BEST CHANCE, that just proves how much she loves him. It's not easy giving up your first kid, so she must really love him!

  • @Uh.196

    @Uh.196

    9 жыл бұрын

    Yeah, thats all true. While Regina is his mom and raised him Emma is also just as much his mother, and he obviously feels more connected to her. Also, (i don't want to come off as rude), but Emma didn't really become his mom (and care taker) until after she broke the curse, she was in Storybrooke for a while before she became his mom. Henry didn't even start calling her mom until she came back from the enchanted forrest. But at the end of the day, this is a drama tv show, in real life, it would go differently.

    I think everybody missed the point of this whole entire show it has nothing to do with Regina being Henry's adopted mom. Virginia Burns is that she can't be evil or she's risk losing Henry but they're running thing is Emma is Regina's step-granddaughter. Emma is over protected by Henry because of Regina did to Henry. Some of things Regina did the course would take Henry away from her anyways. But you also make a mistake Emma is Henry's biological mother Regina cannot rid Emma away from Henry's life. That's Somethin adoptive parents forget it and they're being selfish about it. Here's the thing you cannot rid the adoptive parents out of your adopted children's lives you cannot talk bad about the birth parents or risk hurting your kids. Before you start talking why don't you do research about adoption do research. And also think about what you're doing to your kids. One article I read is that is that you cannot refer to adopted child as your child or you meant to be because it's basically taken away the birth parents. The birth parents is what created the child in the first place and you're going to cause more pain to the child and that you're happy that the birth mother is the one that suffers. And by the way my mom's adopted and she still looked for her biological mother. She read a book called with girls go away. It's a story where girls got pregnant and their family send them away and that sometimes they'll forced adoption. Also a child who wants their birth mothers in their life because something is not filling a hole in their hearts. Also Emma is Regina's step-granddaughter. Another thing that bugs me with Regina is that she won't even give Emma a chance Emma was on her side about but Emma's Regina's so freaked out about losing Henry and not realizing that Emma was actually on her side at some point. Regina did he even get a chance to actually have a nice relationship with her step granddaughter. When Regina discovered Emma has powers that's when Regina has started to form a relationship with Emma. It's sad it took so long for Regina to realizing Emma with a friend and a family member. If you guys can't really see this you really haven't seen the show all the way you need to watch the show again.

    I think she was more angry because she thought Snow was better than that, that she meant WELL and realised the hurt she caused between Regina and Cora by telling her about Daniel, and was finally trying to make amends. Regina thought that if her mother had her heart back, then she would finally love her and be the mother Regina always wanted. She didn't know that Cora was just as bad with or without a heart, if how she choose to abandon Zelena and manipulate Rumple suggest.

    Yes Regina has been hurt by Snow Whites' actions but killing her won't change anything. It won't bring her mother back nor will it make Henry love her again. Regina was dragged into Cora's vendeta againist Eva just like Snow White was. Both were pawns to Cora and to an extent Rumpetstilskin. More killing will only make things worse for everyone in the long run. As for Henry he is being selfish in that he wants everything to go a certain way and this is probably a result of being raised by Regina. Now when Emma give him up for adoption, she had no idea who would be raising her son, but she knew that he should have had a better chance than she did if she didn't put him the foster care system. Also Henry needs to realise that magic is like any tool, it is how it is used that determines if it is good or evil. Besides he should remember that Regina and Rumpelstilskin are not the only magic users in Storybrooke like the Faires/Nuns and his biological mother Emma who use magic but are not corrupt.

And in season 1, she only decided to stick around when she realized that Regina was creating a toxic environment for Henry. Regina was attempting to murder his family and you dont get credit for intending to do something evil but not following through especially since her not going through was done for 2 reasons 1 because henry guilt tripped her out of it and 2, she was caught and realised she couldn't get away with brainwashing him.

    I really hope you're being sarcastic, because there is no way that a simple hug is going to fix all the dysfunction going on up there. Regina's problem isn't that Henry doesn't love her, because he does. The problem is that Regina wants Henry all to herself and she is desperate enough to do anything to accomplish that, be it attempting to curse Emma into an enchanted sleep, brainwashing Henry or killing his family and friends. That is not a healthy love.

    This always pissed me off . In the real world emma kidnapped Henry twice once when she tried to leave storybrooke and when she took Henry to Manhattan without Regina knowing. Regina didn’t abuse Henry please. She raised Henry for ten years without Emma . Emma chose a closed adoption she could have chose to have some contact with him . In today’s world do you really think someone who spent his whole ten years of life since he was a baby they would take him away from the only home he’s ever known? Emma made the choice to give up Henry you don’t get to choose when you come in and out of his life. She turned Henry against Regina. Regina messes up and everyone thinks she’s evil but Emma or the charmings mess up and they have so much support. We see even when Regina wanted to change she always put Henry first .

    Emma's behavior would not hold up in court. She asked for a closed adoption, so she has no legal claim to call herself Henry's mother. Keeping Henry away from Regina is kidnapping according to the law. Emma would be put in jail. I'm apalled Regina lets this happen. And before anyone goes off about how Regina lied to and manipulated Henry, remember that Emma lied to Henry about his father and Snow White tricked Regina into killing her own mother. These "heroes" are hypocritical. Not to mention sometimes even stupid and naive. Also, are we just going to forget how Snow and Charming screwed over Maleficent? It also bothers me how they seem to think just saying sorry will fix everything. No, sometimes you need to do more than say sorry to make it okay. But back to my main point: Regina is Henry's mother not Emma. Emma and Henry's behavior is selfish and wrong. Regina keeps getting screwed over by the "heroes" and then they wonder why she hates them.

    Henry's wrong. It's not Magic that's the bad guy it's the people who use it. Corra was always evil and Regina is too. Those two girls are too full of themselves to see the truth. Magic doesn't corrupt people people corrupt magic. Corra was power hungry and Regina let magic consume her soul to feel better over everything her mother did. Snow didn't kill Daniel Corra did. Corra's the bad guy not Snow and Regina is making herself the bad guy. Magic is a wonderful thing it's evil people who make it evil.

    +Darkuss Sovereign I agree but also don't.. If you think about it Regina loved her Mother unconditionally, because no matter what Cora did she's her Mother, so she blamed snow instead because she was PARTLY involved (only for the right reasons, of course). When I was heartbroken I'd scream at others or hurt them. Regina had all of this power and ruled an entire Kingdom; that mixed with heartbreak and envy - not good. It's heard to explain, but when I was hurting I didn't think about my actions: if magic was real and I was in that kind of pain, fuck me I don't even know what I'd do. Cora wasn't exactly "innocent" when she was younger, however she had a good heart before she ripped it out. She was tired of living in the conditions that she was in, of course when magic came in she could do whatever she pleased, not thinking twice before doing so. Regina to me was innocent when she was younger, her heart was pure and she believed in true love and happiness. Once it was gone blaming snow was easier because let's face it, Cora's her Mother no matter what. Magic does corrupt in a way, all of that power it just has to go to your head, with magic you can do ANYTHING, (other than bring people back from the dead). In Regina's case she was hurting too much to see past the end of her nose. I envy everyone because they've got things which I desire. Regina wanted love and happiness, but she went all about it the wrong way because of all the power she had. I think that magic has done it's damage, but the people who use it could've tried harder. But they aren't evil people, Cora was no angel but she wasn't evil before magic came along, and Regina was just a sweet teenager. Even Rumple wasn't horrid before magic came along.. I suppose having all that power so quickly just again, goes to your head.

    I think that Henry was really naive in this episode. You can’t destroy magic with dynamite. Magic can be either good or bad depending on those who wields magic.

    On the one hand, Henry's right, but he's also wrong. Magic, while it's the wrong thing to use while trying to make your life better or deal with things in general, it's not ever inherently bad, it's the person who uses it who defines it's nature, and their own. You get rid of all magic, light and dark, you're still going to have light and dark people who can't get along as a family, no matter how their related.

    Henry makes a good point, magic pretty much destroyed everyone's lives. It turned Rumple into the Dark One, Baelfire got banished to a different realm, then Rumple had to do terrible things to try to find him. Rumple killed Baelfire's mother (she deserved it), he trained Cora dark magic. He gave a curse to Regina who's heart was broken after magic took away Daniel. The Curse toor everyone away from their homes and brought to a place they didn't want to go in the first place. David and Snow had to give up baby Emma because of magic, Geppetto had to let go of Pinocchio because of the curse. Emma had to grow up without her parents, and it was miserable for her. Magic killed Regina's mother, and darkened Snow's heart. It was because of Rumple that David and James never grew up with each other. Sheriff Graham died because of magic along with Regina's father, Neal, Marian, Robin, Victoria and so many others. Magic also ruined so many other lives as well, such as Ursula, Maleficent, Lily, Zelena, Sidney, etc. Magic turned Regina into the Evil Queen. Magic also turned Fiona into the Black Fairy and turned Peter Pan into a coward and a bad father, cause he was offered eternal youth in exchange for letting his son go. What kind of father does that? Just to get magical youth, a coward that's who. Henry had a good point, just saying. Magic nearly destroyed Henry's whole family in all 7 seasons, they were lucky to have each other. P.S. I'm a Regina fan, Henry is her son, not Emma's.

    Regina never loved Henry in the first 2 seasons. Obsession to own someone & being possessive isn't love. Just because she raised him for the first 10 years it doesn't mean anything. She gaslighted him into believing he was insane, blackmailed his therapist, tried to kill his birth mum whom she knows he loves very much just so that she can own him completely. No wonder Henry didn't want to live with her. When he lived with Emma & the Charmings he was so much happier. They especially Emma truly loved him. Emma has been nothing but an amazing mum from the start. She could've easily left Storybrooke but she saw how miserable Henry's life was with Regina & stayed despite her uphill battle with Regina. Living in a huge house doesn't mean anything if the child feels unloved & abandoned. Emma has made it clear from the beginning she puts Henry 1st and he understood this even giving him up at the time was the most selfless motherly act she did which he accepted. I think this is why Henry shows love towards Emma more than to Regina. The scene at the castle, they only knew each other for 2 days but I'm sure Henry never had heart to heart bond with Regina like he had with Emma even though she raised him alone for 10 years. Legally speaking Regina had no rights over Henry. Gold made the adoption happen so it was probably illegal + Regina had a long list of crimes so in real world she'd be locked up for good. Henry's custody would go to his birth mum. Emma could've taken Henry to live outside Storybrooke not to be seen by Regina again. But she didn't do it because she knew Regina still means a lot for Henry. I just wish the series gave more time for Neal, Emma & Henry to be a family

    I wish the writers would make an actual base for magic. Its just a plot device. Whats the price for this? Also isnt the well a kind of a portal for magic. Thats where mr gold enacted the spell to get it from the enchanted forest to a place without magic . The well would link the magic to the enchanted forest. So if henry did destroy it wouldnt magic cease to exist there. Its just a theory but i think the writers couldve used this.

    Its not magic bad. ıts people. And ı am really angry like how they put Snow and Regina like same. Its really getting my nerve. Like get over it already. And even if ı lıke Regina , she is so hypocrite. Your mother killed her mother, you killed her father, stole her childhood and youth and stole the child, and all the memories when emma was young . And still she talks about revenge. I think snow is a saint because her mother become evil only why because she bend some spoiled brat. Snow endures so much and in the end she didnt killed Cora but choose rumpilstiltskin. And ı think ıts the right choice. one he is family, two he is more human than her. so actually ıts not much a choice. and ıts get really annoying to me they are just stood there and waiting her to be come and kill him. they really think they have a another choice . ı think believen that in that moment is stupid. Like not tying you animal and saying ıts gone .
