I’ve watched this twice now, took notes, and I’ll probably watch it again because this preacher is speaking the truth! I want to be able to share this with others who believe once saved always saved. That belief has been such a crutch for believers... if you truly have the Holy Spirit, He will convict you when you’re starting to sin🙏🏻🙏🏻

A few days ago I began thinking about doing a Scripture study on this subject. I have heard several views on this in the past 40 years from once saved always saved to every little sin causes you to lose your salvation and you have to get born again yet again. Most of the time this subject is downright ignored. Finally, someone is explaining it in a Scriptural way not just using Scripture that seems to easily say one thing, but looking at a survey of Holy Scripture to see what Holy Scripture is conveying to us from the heart of our Creator. For this I say, "THANK YOU."

Thank you so much Pastor Joe. Over years I was on the way to understand this myself through the Word of God and my relationship with Jesus but the popularity of some preachers and their doctrine with other believers often made me feel like I was exaggerating and judgemental and picky. I'm really motivated to live a holy life, pray the apostolic prayers and at the same time let Go's love take me over completely so that Christs lives in me and I don't try to achieve things by my own power. It must be possible to live in the fear of the Lord AND the joy of the Lord at the same time! Susann from Europe

The same journey for me. The Bible is also clear on turning back. We can Always Sincerely repent and be restored to His salvation.... but doing as we wish, all the while planning to say Oh sorry Lord forgive me... No. True repentance and sorrow at soul for our wrongs is very different.

My husband doesn’t care for sandhu, and he’s a Christian! I’m so disappointed. He doesn’t want to here about it. I’m not sure what to do. I wonder if having the gift of tongues makes a difference! God did tell me sandhu was a true prophet, I’m a pastor and my friends don’t care for him either. God tells me many are called few are chosen, and I’m seated with him in heavenly places. Iv seen the lord twice this last year. He is guiding me. I am alone. He is talking to me almost everyday. He’s training me physically and emotionally spiritually the many ways to decern him. Hey Pastor Joe This is a very solid and thorough teaching disproving the "once saved always saved" doctrine that seems to be leading many astray in these days of increasing deception I myself was doing a bible study recently that I believe adds to your teaching disproving this doctrine as well and is directly from Jesus In two chapters of the book of Matthew (24 & 25) After His followers question Him about what it will be like at the time of His 2nd coming to earth and after He tells them of the great sorrows coming such as diverse earthquakes famine pestilence false prophets bringing great deception wars etc etc He continues on teaching them in 3 parables that I believe are not coincidentally being taught to them at the same time as them being told of being ready for the end He is teaching this to His disciples and followers and if you read them I think that you will see they are teachings about people of faith that do not continue to stay strong in their faith (Not of unbelievers) He speaks of "there will be weeping wailing and gnashing of teeth" and "they shall be cast into outer darkness" and of those who fall back into worldly sin and those who do nothing with the gifts the "Master" has given them and in the story of the ten virgins ( 5 who were wise and 5 who were foolish) He described that the 5 foolish virgins that "did not keep the oil in their lamps" will be denied entrance to the "wedding feast" from the "bridegroom" I do not believe that you can read these parables in these two chapters and not come to the realization that Hes addressing believers and not the lost and warning them to stay strong in their faith if they want to be counted among the worthy sheep and not the wild goats God bless you brother for bringing this hard word that desperately needs to be heard May our great God bless and keep you and your family and ministry ✌️❤️🙏😇☝️🙌🔥✝️💪👿🥊🌈😘

There is a great deception upon this land that denies the truth of God's Word. Hebrews 3 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, IN DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, ....IF....WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STEDFAST UNTO THE END 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation 1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 2 Thessalonians 2 1Now we beseech you, brethren....by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST 1 Timothy 12 Having damnation, because they have CAST OFF THEIR FAITH. 13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. 14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. 15 For some are already TURNED ASIDE AFTER SATAN 2 Timothy 2 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES God's Word declares: It is possible to turn your ears from the truth It is possible to depart from the living GOD It is possible to depart from the faith It is possible to turn aside after Satan It is possible to be damned by casting off your faith It is possible to be believe fables (a fictitious narrative) And ..Yes... there will be a falling away before the LORD gathers us together and His return 2 Peter 2 Speaks of those which have FORSAKEN THE RIGHT WAY, and are GONE ASTRAY, and who loved the wages of unrighteousness..(15) 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have KNOWN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. Do not be deceived 🙏

Exactly. Thank you for teaching the truth. There will be many preachers with a lot of blood on their hands for the OSAS false doctrine. Truth makes sense, lies do not. No one teaches counting the cost either. If people understood that they must lose their life to be worthy of Heaven, they will have to make a decision.

I agree that you CAN lose your salvation. I believe there are conditions to keep your salvation. What a scary doctrine. Many churches are teaching this. Aside from the abundance of evidence in the Bible that you can lose your salvation, it doesn’t even make any logical sense. Why fear God then if you believe in once saved always saved. Seems it would make a person lazy and sin thinking, I’m saved, no worries... wow! I love the Lord so much I never want to be separated from Him again! Thank you Father for your mercy and grace. Thank you Jesus for what you did for me. Thank you Holy Spirit for your guidance every day. Praise our mighty, strong God! Hallelujah! God bless...🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏿🙏🏾

My question is, if you are not saved, is it so that you were never TRULY saved?? The Lord says that He blots out our name of the book. So I understand that you were truly saved and then lost it, because you turned from the faith. This is what Christians explained to me. Please let me know pastor Sweet. I have to know the truth and live in it and live it ❤ Love the Ministry ❤

What about Hebrews 6:4-6? It is impossible for those who have tasted the Heavenly gift and were partakers of the Holy Spirit to repent if they shall fall away. This suggests that once you fall away, you cannot repent and be saved bc Christ was only crucified once and this puts His crucifixion to shame.

The verse in proper context: "It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned." Hebrews 6:4‭-‬8 We know based on the scriptures one can grieve, resist and quench the Spirit. I believe you can repent of both grieving and resisting the Spirit. The issue becomes is when you "quench" the Spirit (what I believe the above Hebrew verse speaks about), one is handed over reprobate. Thinking about being SO thirsty and you have water to "quench" your thirst. You're "satisfied;" its final. Again, its crossing a line with God that shouldn't be crossed.

It was to hebrews who weren't just falling away in a general sense, they were falling back to the law and sacrifices because that's their tradition. And needing more offerings for sin instead of Christ's once for all sacrifice. So going back to the law instead of receiving Jesus' once for all sacrifice. Therefore they were making it like they needed Christ's crucifixion again because they fell away to believing that Jesus' sacrifice didn't take away sins and other things can like animals.

••• if Christianity is diminishing it is because of the idleness of the believers. Just like in war, less soldiers, battle is lost. Afraid, possessed by cowardice SOULdiers. do not expect when you return to your officer one day(JESUS) that he will regard you in favour for retreating from the battle and even deceiving other soldiers to do so, just because you are weak or want to justify your lifestyle. and stop listening to lukewarms or what your ITCHING ears want to hear, AND START reading and listening to what JESUS HAS TO SAY ! Matthew 16:24 > Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Matthew 7: 21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Luke 6:46 > “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not [[[[[do]]]]] what I say? CAN THIS BE ANY MORE CLEARER???

The Bible’s answer No, it does not teach the doctrine of ‘once saved, always saved.’ A person who has gained salvation by faith in Jesus Christ can lose that faith and the salvation that comes with it. The Bible says that maintaining faith requires great effort, a “hard fight.” (Jude 3, 5) Early Christians who had already accepted Christ were told: “Keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”-Philippians 2:12. Bible verses that disprove the teaching of ‘once saved, always saved’ The Bible warns against serious sins that will keep a person from entering God’s Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21) If salvation could not be lost, such warnings would be meaningless. Instead, the Bible shows that someone who has been saved can fall away by returning to a practice of serious sin. For example, Hebrews 10:26 states: “If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.”-Hebrews 6:4-6; 2 Peter 2:20-22. Jesus emphasized the importance of maintaining faith by giving an illustration in which he likened himself to a vine and his followers to branches on that vine. Some of them would at one time demonstrate faith in him by their fruits, or actions, yet would later fail to do so and be “thrown out like a [fruitless] branch,” losing their salvation. (John 15:1-6) The apostle Paul used a similar illustration, saying that Christians who do not maintain their faith “will be lopped off.”-Romans 11:17-22. Christians are commanded to “keep on the watch.” (Matthew 24:42; 25:13) Those who fall asleep spiritually, whether by practicing “works belonging to darkness” or by not fully performing the works that Jesus commanded, lose their salvation.-Romans 13:11-13; Revelation 3:1-3. Many scriptures show that those who have been saved must still endure faithfully to the end. (Matthew 24:13; Hebrews 10:36; 12:2, 3; Revelation 2:10) First-century Christians expressed joy when they learned that fellow believers were enduring in their faith. (1 Thessalonians 1:2, 3; 3 John 3, 4) Does it seem reasonable that the Bible would stress faithful endurance if those who did not endure would be saved anyway? Only when his death was imminent did the apostle Paul feel that his salvation was assured. (2 Timothy 4:6-8) Earlier in his life, he recognized that he could still miss out on salvation if he gave in to fleshly desires. He wrote: “I pummel my body and lead it as a slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself should not become disapproved somehow.”-1 Corinthians 9:27; Philippians 3:12-14.

The apostles Paul and Peter gave the correct perspective on salvation: *it is something we hope for, to be received in the future:* According to Paul, during this mortal life we have "the hope of salvation" and are "appointed . . . to obtain salvation": ⚫ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9; Paul did not tell them they were already "saved.") Here's Peter, saying "shall be" saved - in the future: ⚫ "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they." (Acts 15: 11) In fact, Jesus tells us we must endure to the end to be saved: ⚫ "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." (Matthew 10:22) We'll be saved - saved from ever perishing in death - when we actually receive the promised gift of eternal life at Jesus' return. Paul explained this in 1 Corinthians 15:42-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Short of receiving the gift of eternal life, we will surely *perish in death, losing everything, very much unsaved!* Salvation - eternal life - is a grace promised to us, to be received at Jesus' "revelation" or return: ⚫ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25) ⚫ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13) *Justification and salvation are two different things, at different times:* In this mortal life we may enter *justification,* but we will not be *saved* until we receive eternal life at Jesus' return. ⚫ "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." (Paul, in Romans 5:9; another example of "shall be" saved.) "By his blood" a person may enter justification; "through him" that person shall be saved. "Through him" means through a relationship with Him. Remember Jesus' words about those who had preached in His name, and had "cast out devils," and had "done many wonderful works"? Jesus warned what he would say to them: ⚫ "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23) Not only must we know Him: we must continue to abide in Him: ⚫ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6) So, how do we enter justification? *Through* faith (Ephesians 2:8) that God exists and rewards (Hebrews 11:6) we may then choose to obey and "come to God" (Hebrews 11:6) on His terms: in repentance. For that we receive His promised mercy: ⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) ⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) So, what is the mercy promised in Proverbs 28:13? Our past sins will be blotted out: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV). A believer - a person who through faith has come to God, confessing and forsaking sin - has been "purged from his old sins" (2 Peter 1:9). Believers have "remission of sins that are past" (Romans 3:25). They have redemption - by grace - from the death penalty they had earned for past sins: ⚫ "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Believers have been saved from hopelessness. They are no longer under condemnation, no longer under the death penalty already earned as the "wages" of their past sins. That redemption was made possible "by his blood" as we saw in Romans 5:9: Jesus made His death available to cover our death penalty. With past sins that separated us from God (Isaiah 59:1,2) erased, and no longer under condemnation, we enter *justification,* reconciled with God, no longer separated from God. Now we can begin a new life, "times of refreshing" in "the presence of the Lord" as we saw in Acts 3:19: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV). And how are we in "the presence of the Lord"? Through the gift of the holy spirit, given to those who obey and come to God in repentance: ⚫ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32) ⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38) Through the holy spirit Jesus guides us out of slavery to sin and into His righteousness, overcoming slavery to sin. This is how we are made ready to receive the gift of eternal life and to inherit the Kingdom of God. Creation is not finished: sons and daughters for the Father's eternal family are being created, right now, through Jesus. He is the potter, we are the clay: ⚫ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19) A relationship with Him ⚫ " . . . yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby" (Hebrews 12:11). ⚫ "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:7) We can not make the journey along the "narrow way" (Matthew 7:14) that leads to life without His help. And that journey can neither begin nor continue without our repentance, abiding in Him. Outside of repentance, we receive no mercy and no redemption; we will surely perish in death, paying our own death penalty. And outside of repentance, we can not be made ready to receive the gift of eternal life. For those reasons Jesus warned: ⚫ " . . . except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5) Peter makes it clear: we either come to repentance, or we perish: ⚫ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). *Nothing about "faith alone" there!* Jesus told His disciples to preach repentance and remission of sins, not "faith alone," not "faith + nothing = salvation"! (Luke 24:45-47) We have free will, and it is possible for us to return to a life of sin, no longer in repentance and no longer abiding in Him. In that case, we have "fallen away" from justification, no longer on the "narrow way" that leads to life. *That's why the apostles gave all those warnings* not to "fall away" and not to "fail of the grace of God." To "give diligence to make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10,11). To "continue in his goodness" or else be "cut off" (Romans 11:19-22). ⚫ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1) Here is a list of similar verses: ⚫ 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Paul understood he could possibly return to sin and be a "castaway" ⚫ 2 Peter 2:20-22 Even after knowing Him it is possible to return to a life of sin, and end up worse than before ⚫ Hebrews 10:26,27 If we return to a life of sin . . . ⚫ Hebrews 6:4-6 We can "fall away" even after receiving the holy spirit ⚫ Hebrews 12:14,15 We can "fail of the grace of God" ⚫ Revelation 3:5 and 22:19 Our names CAN be blotted out of the book of life ⚫ Hebrews 3:12-14 "if" ⚫ Colossians 1:21-23 "if" ⚫ Romans 8:13,14 "if" ⚫ Luke 12:45,46 Jesus warned what would happen to servants who returned to sin ⚫ John 15:6 Jesus warned what would happen to those who fail to abide in Him

Smoking can be seen as a continual act that results in harm to the body. Our bodies are precious and we shouldn't deliberately harm them unless for a good reason as they were given to us by God. Having said that, smoking is addictive and perhaps an indication of some internal struggle the person is going through. It is an unhealthy cycle both physically and spiritually. Pray to God to allow you to depart from this sin. It will not be easy. It might take several attempts. But never give up. On a practical level you need the right support and try nicotine patches products etc.

No, but it could lead you there. You are more prone to wander from the truth by not being in fellowship with other believers. Being alone makes it easier to stumble back into sin. Find believers that are on fire for the Truth of God and get on fire yourself. Then help others find their way to truth.

Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God, and the Word of God by a preacher, and how can he preach except he be sent? You have to sit under a man of God and receive the Word. That called God's order and he doesn't work outside it. A true believer will always desire to be around like minded believers. For strength and accountability. You and Jesus have a personal relationship true but you're not gonna get to heaven just him and you, you need your brother to help and guide you and vice versa. Sometimes we cant see what others see. Don't make excuses just do it.

In the video you talk about "seal" of the Holy Spirit as in Ephesians 4:30 "30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." The word "sealed" is used as "marked"... G4972 (Strong) σφραγίζω sphragizō From G4973; to stamp (with a signet or private mark). Not in the sense OSASers think to seal up a container watertight, never to be opened until redeption day. This idea of us being locked up in some container that we cannot get out of originates back to John Calvin...the Calvanist in the 1500's. No, we are simply marked by the Holy Spirit and we still exercise free will to love God which is to obey His commandments, or to indulge in sin and live apart from God.

In Matthew 19, the rich young man "went away SORROWFUL" (V.22) after he failed to obey all of God's commandments that Jesus gave him. Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were GRIEVED INTO REPENTING. For you felt a godly grief, so that you suffered no loss through us. For GODLY GRIEF produces a REPENTANCE that leads to SALVATION without regret." (2 Cor. 7: 9,10) In Luke 13, Jesus said this twice: "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." (V.3,5) "REPENT! TURN AWAY from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. REPENT and LIVE! " (Ezekiel 18: 30,32)
