A very poor representation of OSAS. Many of these men made claims that OSAS supports the idea "You don't have to live holy lives". The Bible clearly teaches we have to live holy lives. The distinction is simply made in scripture between salvation and service. Jesus commands us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. That is the standard. Salvation is free through the grace of God through the only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Discipleship is costly and requires service, sacrifice and taking up your cross. Jesus is the only one who's righteousness is enough. The question is does God abandon you to hell when you sin after being saved by His grace? Is the individual saved actually sealed by the Holy Spirit? Are they actually a purchased possession bought with a price? Equating the P of TULIP to OSAS is also a misrepresentation. These men add in their righteousness to their salvation. The ultimately take the gospel and force people to look back on their own works for justification. One sin is a transgression of the whole law. If false teachings were creeping in as early as Paul (Galatians 1:6), don't appeal to "church fathers", appeal to scripture. John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24) John 11:25-26 - "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26) John 6:47 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me has everlasting life." (John 6:47) Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your household." (Acts 16:31) 1 John 3:23 - "And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." (1 John 3:23) John 8:24 - "I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins." (John 8:24) John 6:29 - "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent." (John 6:29) 1 Corinthians 1:21 - "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." 1 John 5:1 - "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begot loves him also that is begotten of him." John 3:15 - "That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:36 - "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him." Romans 10:9 - "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:10 - "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Mark 16:16 - "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned." Acts 10:43 - "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins." 1 John 5:5 - "Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" Romans 4:5 - "But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." John 14:12-14 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." 1 John 5:10-13 John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." Romans 1:16 1 John 5:13 - "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God." Romans 11:23 - "And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again."

The context of the end of romans 8 was talking about external things not separating us when we go through trial not sin, early in the chapter he shows sin can bring you to death and seperates you,as for never leaving no forsaking us which is quoted from Deuteronomy it is clear he said later in that book if they leave or forsake him he will forsake them. God is willing to always stay in the relationship but if we no longer have faith in our hearts and depart he will not force us to stay, once saved always saved is a lie from Hell clearly not shown in scripture warned against in Jude. Wake up from this terrible doctrine and misuse of scripture and actually watch the documentary, you would never abuse your wife and say "once loved always loved" and expect her to never leave so don't think the same of God

Marriage symbolizes the unity of God - the two become one but are still two. As the Trinity cannot be separated so the bond of a marriage should not be broken as Man bears the Image of God. Maybe this is primarily why God hates divorce. But God allows it, nonetheless. As one can divorce his/her spouse so a Believer can divorce God. Both are done by an act of free will. Keep vigilant in your love for your spouse and keep vigilant in your love for God. Faith, love, obedience to his will. Good works are done in love through faith by an act of obedience (free will) for the glory of God and are done for others ("I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was hungry, and you gave me food, naked and you clothed me....").

nope... but you can definitely forsake HIM, become unfruitful in faithlessness [Matt 13:18-23] and be cast off like a withered branch [John 15:1-15], as YOU wander from the narrow way [Matt 7:13-27], and in lacking these things of faithfulness, you become blind, and cannot see afar off, and having forgotten you were purged from your old sins [2Pet1:1-9] you neglect the salvation you received.. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him? “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

@darlae88 Well it was dishonest of them. First of all I'll be honest I'm not 100% sure I'm right about OSAS being true but based off my understanding of scripture to this point the evidence does seem in favor of OSAS being true. I highly recommend you watch Bibleline's 4 part reaction to this documentary where he points out the glaring problems with this documentary. These guys made a lot of strawman arguments time and time again. Now let me give you scriptures for the contrary to support OSAS John 3:16, John 6:37, John 10:27-28, 1 John 2:19, Matthew 7:23 (why did he say "I never knew you" rather than something like "I don't know you anymore"), Hebrews 10:10, Ephesians 1:13 (that's just some of them) Think about this too... Hebrews 6:4-6 is often used against OSAS but think about it... if what it says is interpreted the way people who believe you can lose your salvation interpret it you would have to say that once someone loses their salvation they can't get it back... I don't think people believe that so it doesnt really make sense.

Not to say we won't make mistakes and stumble along the way but overall we do remain in the faith once we believe is what the scripture appears to teach based off everything I just said. God bless

"I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means*, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." Paul is eternally saved, speaking to eternally saved brethren. He was very careful during his ministry, including working wherever he lodged, so as not to be seen by men as insincere, even though God allowed him to be supported, he insisted to do it himself. In this passage he is also pointing out that he fights the sin inside himself so to be seen by men as worthy, and not a hypocrite counterfeit while preaching the saving grace Gospel of the Lord God Jesus Christ. He is not talking about being castaway from God. Context matters.

@vickyannpaintingwithoils Paul talks about not running aimlessly and disciplining his body. The context is that he could be disqualified from the race even though he was a person preaching the gospel. After that example, in chapter 10, Paul uses the Israelites as examples of them falling away. Under the Old Covenant, the people could fall away, it's the same under the New Covenant. That's his whole point. That's why he is warning them about idolatry in chapters 8 - 10.

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? @@EthnosSynergyEnergy You are deliberately mishandling the scripture. You already know of the passage in Romans 4 which clearly states that Abraham was justified BEFORE GOD by faith alone. The justification in James is not for salvation from sin's penalty but is CLEARLY about our being justified before MEN, not God, by our good works. Unsaved people can "act good" and do good works and millions of them do, thinking that is enough to get them into heaven. Are you one of them? It sure sounds to me like you are trying to justify YOURSELF before God by your own righteousness, which the Bible repeatedly and very clearly states is not possible. You are only justified before God by your faith in His Son's sacrifice. If you don't believe that or know that, you have never been born again. God will not save a self-righteous person who thinks their good deeds or lawkeeping saves them. Again, do you know that salvation is ONLY by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast? God knows your heart and whether or not you have believed in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation. Men cannot see your heart, only what you DO in their sight. This is the justification before me in James.

ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED??? All this debate over OSAS would be done away if we would accept the biblical teaching on salvation. No one alive and breathing in their natural body is saved. We have the hope of salvation. We have the hope of eternal life. The seed of life is placed in us at the moment we come to faith in Christ. That seed is called: The earnest of our inheritance The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus The promise of the Father The anointing The Comforter The Spirit of Truth. All we have now is the hope of salvation. We cannot lose our salvation because we don't have it. We have the earnest(down payment or guarantee) but we've not been to the closing table. We're saved by grace through FAITH. Faith is the substance of things HOPED for. We are saved by HOPE: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet HOPE for? But if we HOPE for that we see not, then do we with patience, WAIT for it(salvation). Being NOW justified by his blood, we SHALL(future) be saved from wrath through him. ...BEING reconciled, we SHALL be saved by his life. But let us who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of FAITH and love and for an helmet, the HOPE of salvation. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation NEARER than when we first believed. And unto them that look for him SHALL he appear the second time without sin UNTO salvation. Who are kept by the power of God THROUGH faith UNTO salvation ready TO BE revealed in the last time. Receiving the END of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. We are saved by GRACE through faith. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE to the end for the GRACE that is TO BE BROUGHT UNTO you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. ...that the spirit MAY be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Brethren, the scriptures are clear, he which hath BEGUN a good work in us will perform it UNTIL the day Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace THROUGH faith and we will be presented holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: IF we CONTINUE in the FAITH and be not moved away from the HOPE of the gospel. Brethren, our salvation is future. He has begun the work but it's not complete or finished. He will perform that work in us only if we CONTINUE in the faith, which, is to continue in his word. Our Lord said to those that believed on him: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth SHALL(future) make you free." It is appointed unto man once to die, but AFTER this the JUDGEMENT. We must all appear before the JUDGEMENT seat of Christ. Our eternity is established(settled or finalized)at JUDGEMENT . Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the FOUNDATION of…eternal JUDGEMENT. We are for once and always saved when we stand before the JUDGEMENT seat of Christ. But according to the Bible, living in sin, affects the heart and mind, believer or nonbeliever alike, and the result is a harder heart, believer or nonbeliever. It is cause and effect. No where do we teach a sinless life, because that is against what first John teaches. But does your religious teaching include, that to willfully sin, will make you more blind to spiritual things?

@@eternalinsecurity so looks like to me that if you're going to live by the law you'd better be keeping the whole law because GRACE no longer applies. ROM 11:6 We can not bundle law, works and grace in the same package because the blood of Jesus separated salvation from the law and works. Salvation is by grace through faith. EPH 2:8-9 KJV and once received we are sealed by GOD. EPH 1:13-14 KJV. So that if God should ever break that seal that He alone can break, then there is no coming back to repentance. So in keeping the law you must keep the whole law. But if by grace, then it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. I personally believe the truth is somewhere in between. I think both sides go to the extreme which I don’t think is accurate. When repenting and becoming saved by God’s grace through Jesus Christ sacrifice your past and future sins are forgiven and your salvation is not at stake for making mistakes and sinning in the future. But when you sin you repent and ask forgiveness as you are condemned by the knowledge given you by the Holy Spirit in your heart. You know you did wrong and you feel the guilt and shame and need to be forgiven for it anew. Where I am not so sure is the giving away your salvation through your actions and heart, both ways make sense to me in that God could let you walk away if you chose but also I can see where God would not allow a human to have that power once given to Him through salvation. The Bible is very difficult to understand especially in a translated language because we don’t know how accurate the translation is based on multiple meanings of words. I have always believed that much of the debating is irrelevant and doesn’t matter if we totally understand each thing as much as understanding the way to salvation and the way to live in God’s will. If you are truly saved I don’t see how you could change back and allow yourself to be unsaved if that is possible. I feel shame and guilt for saying something in anger or frustration so I can’t imagine how I’d turn evil enough to warrant losing salvation because I wouldn’t be able to fall that far from God. Just my thoughts as a “normy” with no theology training or anything like that.

Scripture says we ought to walk just as Christ walked, friend. There are two reasons for remaining in sin after receiving the gospel: Such a person either loves pleasure rather than God or they deny the power of God that can make them holy. The Holy Spirit is He who makes holy. Scripture says whoever continues to practice sin is a liar and does not know Jesus. If we fall, we are to confess and repent, not make excuses to continue wallowing in the mire.

By this we may know that we are in Him: whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.. Everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him" (1 John 2:4-6,29). "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him DOES NOT SIN. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. (1 John 3:4-6). Obeying Christ is not earning your salvation (which was free) it is committing to a life of faith and obedience in Christ.

While God says no one can pluck you out of the Father's hand, that doesn't exempt individuals from personal accountability. Claiming a higher standard is reserved for saints is merely an excuse for complacency. Saints and believers alike are held to the same standard, as Paul emphasizes in striving for excellence. It's disrespectful to settle for the bare minimum when Christ endured excruciating suffering for us. Christ's sacrifice wasn't for us to merely scrape by, but to transform our hearts and minds. We're called to imitate God and actively participate in our salvation journey, not just passively believe. Aligning with God requires diligent effort, not just lip service. The issue is people against OSAS think proponents of this doctrine are the people that say “well I’m saved…so i can go on and keep sinning.” When that’s not even the case, those people have a seared conscience. I found myself living more Godly (less sin) NATURALLY once i stopped being so introspective and worrying about what I’m doing wrong or not doing enough. To understand the message of osas you need to understand the audience…and i believe many of you don’t. Which is why yall are so quick to bash it. We’re not saying you shouldn’t strive to be Christlike. But there are born again believers everywhere constantly checking themselves into a pit of turmoil and doubt. The message of osas is for the believers who are trying but think it’s still in vain. And the people that come against OSAS are the exact reason they fall into this turmoil. Let the Holy Spirit work naturally in you and slow down a bit. You are a new creation and HE IS FINISHING WHAT HE STARTED IN YOU. Be blessed.

Thank God that some OSAS adherents are pursuing the Lord, and this is what we would expect. They are learning, following, witnessing, striving, etc... to walk after Christ. But we know from the sermon on the mount, that most Christians seem to face much trouble in producing fruit, and as such, do not need to be taught "opinions" about what the Bible states that could have them leaning falsely on a position that will later crumble underneath their grasp. Here is what I mean, those pursuing Christ in the eternal security position teach OSAS to others, and depending upon their fruit, then classify them as saved or unsaved. But those ingesting OSAS don't measure their fruit on whether they are saved or not, they just measure things by, do I believe in OSAS or not, and as such there is a HUGE DISCONNECT. The OSAS teachers think most followers are unsaved because of their actions, while most followers think they are saved because of the teachings they believe, so then who is correct? With right Bible teaching, one knows clearly where they stand, teacher or follower.

@@eternalinsecurity thanks for the comment, but i guess im having a hard time understanding what you’re asserting exactly? My apologies. But my entire point is that if you stand in OSAS as a means to continue in sin without remorse, you’re wrong. But i don’t believe OSAS teachers are speaking to these people with a seared conscience, but they are speaking to the believers who do bear fruit and do have evidence of ongoing sanctification, but the Pharisees come along and try to say that if they’re not performing to a certain standard, their faith is not valid and they aren’t actually born again. This causes many saved believers to begin to doubt in the finished work of Christ and begin ruminating and trying to earn their way into Gods favor out of fear instead of resting and trusting that He is at work and He’s completed the most important work of all already. This is a clear tactic of the devil to get us to believe our salvation is in anything else but Jesus. Thus, bring in the “Lord Lord” people. This is who they are. “Look at what I’ve done!” Not “have mercy on me, your law is perfect and without you i have no inheritance.” This is not and has never been an effective method of teaching. And this is a huge huge mistake in the body of Christ. Now, the Holy Spirit is the biggest thing here, there’s a supernatural process taking place within us that we cannot see if the Holy Spirit is truly manifest. The believer with Jesus in their heart will inevitably move away from sin more and more because of the holy spirits work, not by their own effort. It’s a seamless transition. My issue with the people against OSAS is that they are so quick to throw stones and make projections based i their own convictions. “You do x, y, z? You’re not saved, you don’t do x, y, z? You’re not saved.” This is what Jesus was talking about when the Jews would go to them for assistance but leave with an even bigger burden than before. They try to use their knowledge of God to put others down instead of speaking life into people. The body of Christ needs to come together, make allowance for each others faults and see that a Christian that’s STRUGGLING with sin is in the right headspace. The minute once stops struggling against sin, is when the conscience is seared. We believe in the finished work of Christ and that He is doing the work in us, if he gives us grace when we slip up, why can’t we have grace on ourselves? It’s a struggle out here and we’re trying, one persons trying may look different than another’s. But that don’t mean Jesus isn’t in their heart if they’re not as sanctified as another believer just yet.

It’s amazing how we can all read the same book, same verses, etc. and come to different conclusions that we are so passionate about. I was raised Free Will Baptist and believe that although “no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand” (John 10:29), we may very well “pluck” ourselves from His hand and forfeit our salvation. That is the essence is “free will”. I think there are many people (sadly) who once were believers, who have since, through education, enlightenment, guilty pleasures, etc. have now decided that it was all a fairy tale. Those who believe salvation can be forfeited believe that those people indeed forfeited their salvation. The OSAS side, however, thinks that person simply never was a true believer to begin with. I think we all agree that they’ll go to Hell if they die in that condition. So why argue? I sure hope the OSAS believers have it right, but I pray every day for God to forgive me of my sins.

My answer was always the same, " Saved from what?"I have yet to recall one moment of my entire life, that the knowledge of God did not know where I was and I could count on that fact in which if I prayed and asked for guidance from a higher power, or holy spirit, that I did not had to worry about whether I was lost or not? But once you grow to understand just how deep your sin is, one of two things can happen: Either you drive yourself into despair, or you gain a lot more appreciation and dependency of the work of Christ in your life. Excellent work. Largely fair to the opposing view and well thought out. In a few places they oversimplify and seem to be primarily reacting to antinomian beliefs when Romans 7, in particular, can and is interpreted as a struggle we face but does not have to be construed as “normal” as in “acceptable.” Rather it can be acknowledged as part of the sanctification journey that should become less and less as we allow the love and power of the Holy Spirit to transform us. In the end, I wholeheartedly agree with their goal of pursuing holiness and obedience-oriented following of Jesus. On the primary theological question they are addressing, I think the most profound Biblical argument is if God created us with Freewill, as evidenced in Genesis 1, then why would He take away Freewill? Really appreciate the thoughtful work they put into this. Well done!

@@carlcasey4177 Believe in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Works will not save anyone. Salvation is by faith. But once saved God rightly expects us to grow in faith and in love. When we experience salvation, it’s like being given a precious gift. But just like any gift, it’s not meant to be left untouched or hidden away. Instead, it’s an invitation to embark on a journey of growth and transformation. Here are a few thoughts on how we can respond to God’s saving grace: Faith: Faith is like a seed planted in our hearts. It starts small, but as we nurture it through prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship with other believers, it grows into a strong tree. We trust God’s promises even when circumstances seem challenging. Our faith deepens as we learn to rely on Him. Love: God’s love is boundless, and it’s meant to flow through us to others. As we grow in love, we become more compassionate, forgiving, and selfless. We learn to see people through God’s eyes and extend grace to them. Love is not just a feeling; it’s a choice we make daily. Knowledge: Growing in faith and love requires knowledge. We study the Bible to understand God’s character, His plan for humanity, and His redemptive work. Knowledge helps us discern truth from falsehood and equips us to share the Gospel effectively. Obedience: Our faith is demonstrated through obedience. When God’s Spirit prompts us, we respond by obeying His commands. Obedience isn’t always easy, but it aligns us with God’s will and brings blessings. Community: We don’t grow in isolation. Being part of a faith community-whether a local church, small group, or online fellowship-encourages us, challenges us, and provides accountability. We learn from others’ experiences and share our own. Growth is a lifelong process. God is patient with us, and He delights in our progress. Let’s embrace the journey, knowing that God’s grace sustains us every step of the way. 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

This documentary aims to make one believe that one cannot live with the assurance that he is once saved so he is always saved. Rather this documentary takes away this assurance of salvation and focusses on working out this salvation on daily basis. However the examples sought to be given of the early faithful disciples or apostles etc to support the case that once save is always saved was not their belief, are not convincingly presented in this documentary. One has to understand that these early disciples and apostles did not have the canonized book called Bible in their hands to quote or support this belief. The only holy text they had were Torah (first five books of Old Testament) or some fragments of the writings of the prophets who came before Jesus. Moreover, these texts and writing were not even easily accessible to all, and could hardly throw any light on 'once saved, always saved' or 'once saved, not always saved' thought, as this would have been pretty fresh idea after the death and resurrection of Jesus to these disciples and apostles. Now whether we talk about agnostics, stoics, heretics, disciples with different types of pagan backgrounds as against disciples from Jewish background, or Gospels and Paul's letters or letters by others compiled in the form of New Testaments after the said writing s were generally accepted as New Testament books in 200 to 300 years from the from the birth of Jesus, the fact remains that the presence of different point of views are based on ones own understanding of the concept of salvation. Salvation is a matter of faith in Jesus' own sacrifice on cross which definitely came to be not because did something good but due to prevalence of corruption. Yes, faith in Jesus' ultimate sacrifice does expect one to live a life without corruption, however the corruption will take away the salvation that is the result of Jesus' sacrifice is unpalatable. This kind of thought would show that it the corruption is more powerful to nullify Jesus' sacrifice, whereas one needs to understand that it is Jesus' sacrifice that triumphs over all corruption. Otherwise, as @Bob.55 has commented "Loss of salvation doctrine makes an absolute fool out of the Almighty." So, should be just keep living in corruption after we put our faith in Jesus? Of course not. Then, should we live a very cautious life, like walking on eggshells and making no noise? Of course not. Then, the question arise how should we live? My answer. Stop watching stupid videos like this one. Live a life where you do not consciously fall into corruption, and even if there is an unintentional fall, just get up and move on without pondering over much, because Jesus is encouraging you, cheering for you without large number of witnesses.

Amazing documentary! Wish this came out 20 years ago! We are in the Fathers hand yet have the free will and choice to walk out of His hands. He is a good God! It goes against the very nature of God if he would be holding us in His hands with his fist, Clintched and closed so tight that we wouldn't be able to even move out of His hand. He wouldn't force us to stay in His hands. That's what people don't understand! He warns us in His word don't worship false gods, but what is the world doing now? Worshipping thousands of false gods worldwide. That's their choice. No one forced them, and God warned them what their Consequences would be. We have a CHOICE to leave, and He won't force his hand closed on us. Every person in this life makes choices every day, including what they eat and wear, and you're telling me when it comes to God we just don't have a choice to leave. Lies from the pit of hell! Once saved, always saved is the greatest lie on the face of the planet. What these liars are really saying is they are once SLAVED ALWAYS SLAVED until they break free from this great deception that most churches are teaching. The way is narrow! No one wants to talk about that word or even acknowledge it. This proves that only a few will follow that word and obey it.

I was saved and followed Christ for +3 years then fell away from Christ and lived like absolute hell. I know for certainty I had a conversion because my life changed completely. The scales from my eyes fell and the spiritual lights turned on! But, I did not continue in study, worship, discipleship, and growth. And fell away. But for 26 years, while I knew Jesus was the only way to The Father and eternal life, if I had died, during that 26 years, on resurrection/judgement day, I would have heard, “Depart from me. I never KNEW you.” I am saved, again, now. I follow my Lord and feel keenly that this “once saved, always saved” doctrine is quite dangerous. Thank you for telling the truth. Repent and come back to The Lord Jesus if you have not obeyed your Lord.

Regardless of what the Bible teachers believe it’s the message that’s convenient to understand for many people who hear it. Also the Bible has verses that specifically say that you can be a partaker in the Holy Spirit and then be worse off after abandoning it. Therefore “if they left they were never a true Christian” doesn’t work. Even if it was true then technically you don’t know if you’ll ever walk away and have people say you were never a true Christian…… Being respectful. Just trying to analyze the text and carry the propositions out to logical conclusions.

Brother, once saved always saved, is a misnomer for the truth. The author and finisher of the faith is Christ, (Hebrews 12:2). All you who the Father chooses will come to Christ, and Christ will raise him up on the last day (John 6:37-39). No man can pluck them from His hand (John 10:28). He has begun a good work in us, is able to complete it (Philippians 1:6). He will not simply lose you, He leaves the 99, for the 1, (John 10:11-18). Those who leave from us, simply make it clear that they were never of us at all, or they never would have left at all, according to John (1 John 2:19) Don’t be thrown about by every wind of doctrine. If you believe that the only reason you don’t lose your salvation is because you, yourself, choose not to turn from God and are keeping yourself, then you’re puffed up with pride and in danger of falling. If you believe that it’s God who keeps you, and that He might lose you, you’re terribly underestimating the God you’ve believed in. Are there passages that seem to suggest otherwise? Sure. But the question is, what do the clear passages say? Those passages I shared are clear. A Christian CANNOT live in sin. Why? Because it I God who keeps him! He has been made alive in Christ, and cannot stay in sin, because he has a new nature, wrought by God. The early church didn’t always believe this, no. But they also believe in baptismal regeneration, infant baptism, purgatory, at times, and the perpetual virginity of Mary. They also often venerated saints. The church is not perfect. God’s word is. If you know that you’ve been saved, only examine yourself daily, and live by God’s word for His glory. If you can lose your salvation, you will. If you are saved, you will hear Christ and keep His commandments.

You begin to change drastically and slowly highlighting every step you take and you’re capable to make changes because you want to live according to the will of God! I still sin but my awareness is so high that when I know something is unpleasant to the Lord I walk away and ask God to forgive me… it’s a struggle living among a sinful world and He has set me free from things I thought I couldn’t change on my own, it’s a victory! but the Holy Spirit convicts me and warns me all the time! What constraints existed while making the video that prohibited the other point of view from presenting their questions/concerns with the primary theme of the video? Chris White mentioned on his podcast this took full time 9+ months of work and represented his best work to date. Only by repentance of your sin , faith in Jesus Christ, Jesus's deposit of the power of the Holy Spirit can man be saved and only by the power of the Holy Spirit are you kept saved. He cleanses you, convicts you of sin, adds things to your life, takes things away. He is the barometer and the deposit from heaven that is evidence of your salvation, your name now being in the lambs book of life. He is the focus. @ 14:40 there is a blatantly obvious misinterpretation of the Bible in First Corinthians 9:24-27. Salvation is not even being talked about in that passage. Salvation is NOT A PRIZE to be won by how you live. This passage is about eternal rewards, not salvation. You do not earn salvation as a prize because you lived a dedicated life to the end. Salvation was won for you by Jesus Christ and you receive it as a FREE GIFT by faith in His finished work. Not one of these men understands salvation. Btw, I'm FAR from being a Calvinist. OSAS is Bible doctrine based on many clear passages of scripture. It cannot be walked away from or undone. Neither can you cease being born again. Once born again always born again. It is an eternal relationship with God our Father that will NEVER cease. To call salvation a "prize" is to place all the glory of our salvation upon ourselves, not Christ, who alone won it for us by the sacrifice of His innocent blood on the cross. If you did not get everlasting life when you believed you did not get saved. It really is that simple.
