Soloist BEST IVE HEARD..AND THATS INCLUDING KINGS COLLEGE..BRAVO!
The best presentation of this work that I have ever seen or heard. THANK you!
What a great performance. I have heard this song many times in the church and videos but this performance makes me feel so warmly. A little kid singing his heart out. The satisfied smile on gentleman’s face at the end. A very nice choir.Happy Christmas!

Amazing lord JESUS
Christmas is a time for our Traditions and every one involved in this video of "Once in Royal David's City" did a stunningly superb job in creating the sound of Christmas, Great to see chorister in their traditional ruffs!!! Bravi! Anzi, bravissimo!!!!
First time that song made me 😭 cry. Well done! It really touched my spirit. Merry Christmas, and thank you for singing this so beautifully.

Omg That is SOO GOOD
Nice work. But looking past the singers I see what looks like a reredos, with no altar. I know Sydney AUS is the lowest of low church places within Anglicanism. So, was there ever an altar there and is it replaced by a movable "communion table"?

Hi Jack! There is normally a communion table there, which was moved for the purposes of the recording during lockdown. In Anglican churches worldwide, the communion table is movable, as the Book of Common Prayer stipulates.

The controversy remains whether Holy Communion is a sacrificial work requiring an "altar," or the savior Christ's gift of himself in his supper requiring only a "table." "Let mutual love continue," (Hebrews 13:1).
I've heard better Solos than this one
