I actually grew up with Lauren... she almost played guitar in my band at the time. She was cool af Edit: She was about 16 when I knew her, San Clemente CA, it wasn't a very long time but she looks (believe it or not) almost identical minus the very mild signs of age. When I knew her she was already absolutely incredible at guitar and screamed like a demon. Needless to say I'm not really shocked that she grew up into a successful band. She's been beast forever. Thanks for all of the likes. Lauren if you ever read this I'm very very proud of you, but again it was expected. You are so skilled and I wish you and the band a healthy future.❤❤❤❤

Honestly the past few years I've found I like modern female fronted metal bands more then male fronted bands. The women are mixing clean vocals, screamo and growling, the men are just growling. There aren't any men that sing powerfully like Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio or Rob Halford any more. Not that they sang like this, but they had power and range. I haven't heard any recent male metal singer that I was like holy shit that dudes got power and range!

@@Jangocat So apparently you've never heard Slipknot?? Corey Taylor has a 6 1/2 octave vocal range... he has the best male clean vocals in modern metal and screams/growls as good as anyone else. He's the only metal front man I can think of with the range of these females like in Jinjer and this band.

This band is so good. I love the intense energy they put in this video with this otherworldly sound and the awesome heavy singing into a switch up to amazing vocals around 2min. then back into the decent. Good stuff.

I grew up with Dillon the drummer. That man is a fucking gem. Most talented drummer I’ve ever met. And he shows it. If only you guys could understand the respect I have for his talent

Just now finding this band (along with a few others). She's really good! 0:34 to 0:47 was godlike! Very talented band and excellent sound. Ok, people, gather around: growling is not about dicks, growling is a singing/vocal technique. Probably having a deeper voice helps with having a deeper, continuous growl, but it's no that surprising that a girl can growl. Alissa is really good though. I am kinda disappointed that she is only doing growling. Her clear vocals are fucking amazing. Especially when she combines clear, and harsh. Like when she was in the Agonist.

I'm in LOVE with this song! It's the kind of energetic, chaotic and aggressive sound I really look for. Guitars and drums don't have that slow and murky style, which I really appreciate. Makes me feel like I can shatter a giant boulder by repeatedly punching it lol. The clean vocals also send shivers down my spine. Did I mention that I LOVE this song?
