What Deviant Companion can do? - be your survival companion:
They can serve as mounts, cook for you and more.
In CBT3, we will introduce a brand-new Deviant Gameplay, offering players a fresh SCP-style not a pet but a pal capturing experience. Metas will encounter various deviants in Once Human, each possessing unique appearances, abilities and containment methods. Metas can capture them to aid in their adventures.
The Differences between Once Human’s Deviants Capture and Other Pet-catching：
CP + Original Deviants
Once Human's deviants are inspired by SCP. In the game, creatures, various inorganic objects and toys are all possible deviants that can be captured. Metas need to obtain deviants through various containment methods, rather than simply taming them with a ball.

    Man... idk... it's already got too much of a cartoony vibe than what was originally advertised, but it is a weird game. it's just hard not to see that this is just some addition brought on by the hype of palworld.

    It probably is, but I personally like having captured companions that can automate my base for me. Settlement management games are some of my favorite and tacking a survival aspect onto it makes it more enjoyable. I think the theme of this one over the cartoon style of Palworld will sell it to other audiences. Palworld is cutesy, in here you're fighting SCPs with gun-toting teddy llamas. It's a trip.
