Hi, dunno if it was updated just after your video but its possible to delete a wire and a pipe. Like the other structures you have to look at the pipe or wire and press "R", careful, sometimes you have to look a few inch above or under. Your pipe will change color and nothing other will be "selected" when you are on the right spot. And then you can demolish it. Thank you for your video, i'll retry to harvest when i'm able to login after the waiting queue.

Love the video great information. One thing about the water pipes, they use gravitational flow. So, if your bucket is higher than your purifier, it will flow from the bucket to the purifier. The pipe connection points don't determine the direction of flow. However, if you want to glitch the pipe flow a bit. Make one higher than the other during the initial connection, then without destroying the purifier, pick it up and move it to the same level as the bucket. The pipe will keep the "original flow", but you can move them to be side by side instead of above each other. The same can be done with the rain collectors and bucket.

Thanks for the video on the farming. Also, you've probably figured it out by now, for your water purification system, your pipes should run from the rain collectors, then to the purifier, and then to the bucket (at the top).

I built two buckets. Used Half walls to do platforms like steps, two high. Collectors on top, bucket on second level, purifier and bucket on base level. From 2 collectors to mid bucket to purifier, and I hooked the other 2 collectors and the purifier to the bucket next to the purifier. So the last bucket gets it all, fresh water(for boiled to make activators) and purified water. Works rather well, one transfer bucket and one total storage bucket.

you can get rid of wires/pipes by looking directly at it in build mode and pressing r

Yes.. this is not a guide for beginners, but from beginners. 😁

with water purification, everything is a little easier - physics. the water flow goes from top to bottom, there is no "entrance-exit".(the hose shows where the water will move) you can connect rainwater to the purifier, and it to the barrel.

First of all, thanks for dropping by and the comment! But yeah, I get most of that, and even talk about the water flow. The thing is, what if I don't want all my water being filtered from my catchment systems? And, it honestly doesn't make any sense that the filtration system doesn't have an exit valve 🤣. Every water filtering device I've ever seen has a "in" and a "out" lol. It just makes sense to have both. Anyways, thanks again for dropping by, I really appreciate it 👍!

Do you know of specific ways people are putting down these elaborate floors? Like near diamond patterned looks and I can’t even come close to these and is always squared?

There are angled floor and wall pieces available for base building. I'll be honest though, I'm a more function over form type of guy myself lol. As long as it works and gets the job done that is usually my priority over looking fancy 😂.

there should be iron ores just past the bridge to the northern most part of Dayton Wetlands? its grey with a brown discoloration.

At Tier 4 u can craft growing lights :D

Now i need fertilizer to repair the safehouse wtf!? How do i get it ? It says in the thesis bench but i cant find a blueprint for it !

that is the basic way of doing it

my character was hungry and i thought "oh i have some potato seeds let's do some farming" and then damn this takes forever. i have a question, if you could help me out: i did the thing with the columns and the roof with no walls but the plant doesn't have good adaptation to light so vitality is always in 60-75 range. tried some indoor lights, fully closing with walls so it gets no light, tried windows, but nothing works. any ideas? all i wanted to do was some fried potatoes

Hey there! Thanks for dropping by and sure, I can help some. Now, first of all, I know the game says artificial light works but I have yet to find any that actually do work 😅. There could be some that we learn later but I have not found any lights that work for farming. The trick with lighting is time. If you have crops that need less light you want to wait and plant them at the end of the day when the sun starts going down. Or even on cloudy days. Lighting mostly counts at the initial planting, kinda like with watering. So just plant your spuds right before the sun goes down and just start checking your planting boxes around that time and you'll see that they are getting less light.

Spoiled food that is main problem, spoils so slow to craft bunch of boxes for crops.

Hi there, the game now has growing lights and an automatic irrigation system. I am having trouble using the lights, some of my planter boxes register as not having light when there is the growing light shining on them. Do I need 1 growing light per box? Instead of grouping them closer?

i figured it out, one light per planter box. even if they're close together, the light only picks one box to affect.

It's there, just need to look. You'll find it under Logistics in the Memetics tree. But you have to defeat the Treant boss first to unlock it

​@trandel_elentt that's weird that it gives you farming first without fertilizer within the game. My first boss was Ravenous hunter, or was that just the tutorial boss.

@@SpregioCheeks Thankfully you absolutely do not need fertilizer to farm. The only resource I would suggest to use all the time is Purified Water. That will boost your crops to 100 all by itself.

Shell rock.. mine it and it gives u shells (seafood), put this inside your backpack and after awhile it will turn into spoiled food.

It's not that bad once you actually take the time to go through the Journey log and read about it 🤣. I like how there is more to it than just 1 click farming that you find in a lot of games. It requires some little effort and knowledge to use which is fun once you figure it out.

Where to get fertilizer tho

Honestly, you do not need fertilizer at all to start farming. I hardly ever use it and I get great crops. But to answer your question you have to beat the Treant boss first so you can unlock it in the Memetics tree.

Yeah, all the way at the very bottom of it pretty much though 😂. And the ingame tooltip is a little vague when it just mentions artificial light.
