I have the blue F1 quarts and I love it. Perfect size. Amazing timing with the battery. I also have the Mido blue special edition OceanStar automatic and looking to buy Longines Hydro 41mm blue and gold with the blue band but now my Tag battery wore out after 2 and a half years and was thinking of getting the automatic version except that I like blue dial watches. Good review. Thanks.

I would recommend getting a new battery in your F1, that’s the cheapest option and you have a functional watch right away. Then you don’t deplete funds to acquire the Longines down the road.

I bought this exact one at the Athens Greece airport, got it for Euro $1,600 but after VAT refund got for under $1,300 as the USD rate at the time was slight below 1 for 1. I was happy to get a brand new one from an AD at that price.

Great review man, thank you! How can someone get this watch at a larger deal with that price point you mentioned?
@soundsoserious

Thank you. Much of it is finding the watch in the preowned market and haggling. Used watches almost always sell at a discount to MSRP. Some higher end stuff like Rolex or AP, etc. can command a premium but this is the exception. I recommend seeking out deals on places like EBay or Chrono24. Of course due diligence is important!

I agree. I really like the understated nature of the watch. It reminds me of the Seiko “62 MAS” SPB143J1.

@@soundsoserious idk even shitty $100 Pagani have fully mild clasps. Btw Tag Heuer is now installing mild base to this models clasps. The same as it was on previous gen Aquaracers.
