My grandpa was left handed and always wore his watch on his right wrist... so of course when I started wearing one, I followed suit and now it’s natural for me to wear it on my right wrist although I’m right handed. He had some pretty impressive watches including a Tiffany Rolex that a woman bought for him after he successfully removed a cancerous tumor from her leg that other surgeons couldn’t remove, and they would advise for her to get the leg amputated, but he removed it and saved her life. He never wore that watch because of the value and expensiveness of it. He passed away in December 2020 at age 90. He was a good man.

For the longest time, I thought people can wear their watches on whichever side. I had no idea the majority of people all over the world love to wear their watches on the their left arm when you are a right-handed person. I too am right-handed but I love to wear a watch on my right arm. I do try to wear my watch on my left arm recently from time to time, but I find it more comfortable to wear my watch on my right arm. Another reason, is that when I tries to wear my watch on my left, I was struggling to strap it there, but when I wear it on my right there was little struggle.

I'm the same to me having a watch on my left wrist just feels weird and unnatural where as on my right wrist it feels so normal

I'm right handed, I rather wearing my watch on my left wrist. More comfortable, no scratches, less damage. Wear it on whatever wrist makes you comfortable. Comfort is important!

I rock my Casio on the right. I just like it. Im also slightly ambidextrous. Besides handwriting I use my left hand for pretty much everything I use my right hand for. I eat with it, I work with it, everything.

You should never use the crown when a watch is on your wrist. You can damage the stem because of awkward angles it can be put to.

I grew up wearing my watches on my right hand although I'm a righty, then i change to left due to feeling my gshock hindered a lot of my movements. Nowadays watch on the left, my garmin monitor at right

Well I would simply say; Wear your watch on the wrist you feel is the most comfortable. Like for me (im lefthanded) but I still highly prefer to wear my watches on my left hand, and thats simply just becase its more comfortable for me. I have even tried for a long time to wear it on my right wrist, but it never feels right and I always go back to wearing it on my left wrist.

I'm right handed but I too love to wear it on my right. Trying to wear it on the left not felt a bit weird to me, but trying to strap my watch on the left is far more difficult than on the right.

I'm right handed , the first time I wore a watch I was "forced" by my peers to wear it on my left arm It felt very unnatural and wrong wearing it on my left arm ever since wearing it on my right arm it just feels more natural.

I'm a lefty that's why I use my watch at my right hand, but sometimes I whant don't look odd and I wear my watch at my left had like normal people doo. I was researching, because a girl asked me today why I was wearing my watch at my right and I told here because I'm a lefty and I was hand writting with my left hand, and looking at my watch that was at my right. Any way is a more confortable way for leftis. Lots of left handed people like my grandpa uses their watches at their right

Right handed here. I've always worn it on my right hand, mostly because so does my dad. Now, he says he was born left-handed and was forced to become right-handed when he was a little boy, and still is right-handed to this very day but says some actions just feel more natural with his left hand. I've never damaged my watches, not that I recall. I do however take it off whenever I'm going to do some physical work and a watch is not needed around!

I just tried on my right. I feel more comfortable .... just be more careful with it. And by the way we dun adjust our watch daily.

But if you wear a digital watch, you won't have a hard time adjusting the time as all you can do is press the buttons. If I want to adjust or winding an analog watch, I always take it off from my arm.

I’m left handed and wear my watch on my rite side.

I'm left handed and have always worn my watch on my left hand. Personally, I've never really damaged my watch on my left hand, being left handed. First of all I would never do car repairs or maintenance with my watch on. I ALWAYS take it off before doing any work that may cause damage to my watch. I've got watches that are over 20 years old and they still look like new

I’ve always wear my watch on my left wrist. Because I’m right handed. In the 2000 decade I switch it over to my right wrist and wore it for like 4-5 months. But decided to switch it back to my left wrist. I feel funny having it on my right wrist. But others can wear it on whichever wrist they want. I know a man he’s right handed but been wearing a watch on his right wrist since he was a kid. Nothing wrong with that.

If you really want to know, pay attention to what hand you look at when you want to know the time without having a watch on. It's that one.

Most of wrist watches design for left hand wearing.

I had no idea woodsmen like you wore white gloves. I'm not ambidextrous, but for some strange reason I have taken to wearing my watches on both wrists. Some days right and some left. I'm right handed by the way, but i did break my right arm ( yes i know this comment is quickly devolving into boredom) playing softball a few years ago and for a few weeks I had to do everything with my left hand, so maybe that's an explanation, but the truth is I like seeing the crown. Great video man

I always wear my watch on the left even though I'm lefthanded it's because I throw things with my right hand unless I already am holding that thing In my left like an axe for example

I write left handed, bat right handed, throw harder with my right but more accurate and natural feeling with my left (no problem throwing with both hands), box left handed, snowboard right handed, shoot my rifle on my left and pistol with my right.

I was always taught that men should wear a watch on the left wrist and women should wear a watch on the right wrist

I Can write with both right n left. Leftists are common in my family. I was forced as a child to write with my right from school. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know people would put the watch on their non-dominant hand but I’m one of those who puts a watch on my dominant hand, but I’m left handed and i put a watch on my left hand because when i put it on my right wrist it didn’t feel comfortable at all, plus it doesn’t bother me when i write either.

Recently switched to my dominant/right hand. The reasons…. 1. I only wear 1 of 2 Casios (A168 for the weekend and F91W during the work week) 2. Due to years of manual labor, my back is way overdeveloped on my right side and this has caused a lot of back pain. The chiropractor suggested for me to start using my left arm as much as possible to give my right side a break and to develop the left. Wearing my Casio on the right reminds me to use my left more for wrenches and reaching into machines. 3. My F91W is cheap, so even if I did break it, I’ll just stop by one of the bazillion Walmarts and spend $19.99 on another one.

Can somebody please help me tell me why I fall sick whenever I wear my wrist watch on my right wrist
