So much ilusion. It is great to be pround of your country and to emphasize what is good in it but Freetown is the capital of one of the worst countries to live in the world by objective standards. If people whant changes, first they need to understand their currently situation.

People are allowed to be proud of where they're from while also being critical of it. Do you leave the same comments on positive videos of England or the United States? Brazil? Whose "objective standard" is it? There is no such thing. The only people who can both objectively and subjectively say what is good for Sierra Leone are Sierra Leoneans.

"A country of religious tolerance".... that I find hard to believe.

ṢOJU Africa actually the next video I watched I saw a Jehovah's Witness Hall there. So I stand corrected, there were shops, people just working, doing their thing, seemed friendly and happy. It wasnt in the Freetown slum part.

I have a couple of young men I speak with from Serria Leone, I had one that wanted money he said he was an orphan as a child, and if you don't have family you won't be able to work. He lied to me to many times so I stopped talking to him.. The other young man still talks to me but I'm wondering why they can't find work. They also said people look down on you if your an orphan. I ask him if he lied or stold he said no.. I would like to know if I'm being lied to, they have cell phones. But they say they have no food, and get sick alot.
