God this just makes me love Ghostbusters even more. I had an aunt that bought me sooo much Ghostbusters stuff its ridiculous. I saw her maybe 3 or 4 times a year and without fail she had something Ghostbusters for me everytime. The trap, the backpack, the firehouse with slime (still pissed me mom took it and never let me use the slime). To this day when I see her (she's 75+) she mentions Ghostbusters. Last time I saw her she had the rerelease of the game for me on ps4. She called me gf and asked if I had a ps4 cause she saw it at Walmart. God I love that woman

But really why shouldn't they? Unless you're JJ Abrams trying to keep everything a secret, who cares about the minimal spoilers a video like this would reveal. If you don't want spoliers don't look em up. And for the people who do like spoliers, how much excitement would this have generated if there were an online to post it on back then? Better than any trailer they could have made.
@TheLetterTen
4 жыл бұрын
@@billyte1265 This is a joke, right? People still get spoiled when not trying to. Star Wars and Marvel spoilers are always in article names, recommended KZread thumbnails spoil them...and then there are the losers who intentionally go out of their way to spoil things (Snape Kills Dumbledore, for example). So yeah, it's a big deal.
@Mysteriouso100

Yeah, the studios probably weren't as concerned back then, if only because a consumer-grade video camera was as big as a small motorcycle. There wasn't a chance they'd have been able to sneak one onto the set unnoticed and without prior approval of what they were doing.

Thank you for posting this is so cute. I’ve worked on sets. I know that actors are nicer to little kids but they were really sweet and played along. I love that Dan kinda felt bad he couldn’t do more because of the slime and Harold coming over to talk to the boys was so sweet. They were well behaved kids. They (or you if the poster of this video is the kid)waited for Bill to finish talking to the crew.

Freakin´ awesome!! Totally loved this, the kids met their heroes on real-life!! How cool is that!? Thanks for sharing, as a GB fan since my childhood enjoyed this too much.
This could be my favorite KZread video ever.
I'm in complete awe of this. That would've been my dream as a kid!
This is such a wholesome video, love how the Ghostbusters themselves interact with those kids! So sweet!
Oh my god this is incredible behind the scenes footage!!!! Have you showed this video to Violet ???? I'm sure she would love to see her father in this!

I posted it to her. She said he loved kids.
These guys were all such class acts.
Okay, who's an adult that the kid came right out of you when you saw the cast, man even today I would have been like, holy shit, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Peter Mc, holy shit just wow.
This is so cool and must have been incredible for those two kids

They're so young, they probably assumed kids got to meet the Ghostbusters all the time. 😄
How Awesome Meeting The Ghostbusters 2 Cast!! Harold Was So Nice To The Kids!! ♥️♥️👍😎
Oh boy! the Ecto 1-A! It's almost the entire f#cking cast there!!!
Watching this over and over again gives me always goosebumps. What a historic moment this must have been, especially after realising what this was all about. True awesome seeing the actors in their great days doin‘ what they love most - movie making. So charming how they react - today such a visit would be impossible i guess. Ivan Reitman‘s masterpiece in the making ! Rest in Peace and thanx for movies like this.
THEE LUCKIEST PASSER BYS EVER!!! 😂😂😂 U know that security guy got blessed by God to give these kids this shot!!!
Dan also seems so nice. I felt a little bad for Ernie just sitting by himself
That security guard was a gift to man kind, I swear.
Wow. They would never allow this, today on a big movie like this, especially with a camera.

Yeah, the studios probably weren't as concerned back then, if only because a consumer-grade video camera was as big as a small motorcycle. There wasn't a chance they'd have been able to sneak one onto the set unnoticed and without prior approval of what they were doing.

Not to mention a security guard being the one to let them in
Omg I loved this!!! 🤣👍 I'd love to speak to these kids as adults to hear how cool this experience was for them!
Oh wow!! That was so cool that they got to meet ALL four Ghostbusters . I honestly thought they were going to meet another actor portraying Egon , Not THE Harold Ramis
Thank you for sharing this. I've never seen this before. Seeing the cast on the set was priceless. This put a smile on my face all through the video.
God Bless the Ghostbusters!!!!!
aaawww 1:28 "c'mon, take a picture", 4:54 "you are part of the ghostbusters".. legendary footage.
Wow thats really amazing times seem like they were so simpler back then that would never happen today on the set of a major hollywood blockbuster
Nostaligia overload!!!
Man those guys are lucky to see the real ecto 1
Thank you so much for sharing, what a wonderful time capsule moment!
I do T know if I commented on this yet or not but this is just so cool. Iam 35 so probably the same age as these kids now and I lovvvvved Ghostbusters.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful memory, its truly touching
This is one of the most wholesome videos I've ever seen

This IS absolutely incredible... Thank you for sharing.
What a great experience! It's events such as this that lets me know dreams indeed come true.
Great unforgettable footage
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for uploading this. For all of us who were that age at that time and didn't get to go and meet them, we just got to live that moment vicariously through this video. Thank you again. Amazing, timeless stuff. Ghostbusters forever.
Absolutly amazing Video . This is history . Such a great time!!!
Got to MEET and shake the hands of THE Ghostbusters, ON SET and while they are IN UNIFORM~! Ray (danny) is even covered in Slime~!! so it's probably the scene after he gets possesed and 'hosed' lol THIS IS AMAZING~! *Dream come true* for those kids no doubt~
This should have been on one of the blu-ray releases, a small but cute documentary on the set of GBII as witnessed by children. Thanks for sharing this!!!
I wish i was those kids😭😭😭
how awesome !!! Thanks for sharing this 🙌👍👍 What a dream as a kid to meet them all. Loved how the actors catered to them as their characters.
Who else can see the difference in the world back then? Even the honest shaking of the camera with the low resolution and all. That’s old school! That’s real! That’s how cool it was back in the day!Ecto took my breath away because it’s shot with a cam corder and the interaction with the cast was so genuine.
Our Legacy Of Director Ivan Reitman Continues Since Reitman Gone And The Orginal Three Main Ghostbusters Alive And Ghostbusters Afterlife Already On Blu_Ray And The Ultimate Collection Out This Video Stay's Forever
This is incredible. Thank you so much for posting
This is just so precious. The guys are so lovely to the kids. Bless. Lucky kids. My childhood dream.
Is this a home video of your family? which person were you? When I saw this it made me smile because you were there in a moment of time which these guys were my heros as a kid and love to watch now. Seeing Harold hanging out and trying to talk to the small boys is priceless. Ghostbusters 2020
Aaaaaaaww!! You were on the set when you were little? That’s so adorable! I wish I was on the set of Afterlife. But that’s okay.
Thanks for sharing this. What I wouldn't have done to have been in those kids' shoes.
Heart, melted.
I’d have been about the same age as those kids at that point. I think my head would have exploded and I’d have just cried with emotional and sensory overload if I’d found myself in their shoes. Lucky lads, what a memory and piece of footage 👻
this is INCREDIBLE !
wooooowwww thanks for this awesome memory!!!
An absolutely wonderful video, thanks for posting and sharing with all the GB fans. :D
