The best HBCU bands were from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s era! Back in the days, our HBCU bands were serious, extremely disciplined, and performed full out dance routines to one single song in its entirety.

SWAC band has always had deep books even going back to the 80s 90s etc. meac books r not deep enough to compete with SWAC schools. As of late meac schools have to update their book for utube. BCU is trash and book is old. Famu is not it either, great sound but no soul or emotions in their music. Literally no personality
